I went to Amici for the first time, and enjoyed a really nice lunch. The Amici salad and gnocchi with mozzarella were both delicious, and the nutella lasagna for dessert was sensational. The service was good and it was not too expensive. A great choice in the heart of Little Italy.
Let me start out by saying I was a long time customer of Amici II, so I was very excited when I found that someone had opened Amici and kept the same staff and the recipes. The restaurant has also been completely redone.
It was nice to be greeted by the same faces who we were used to seeing, who remember our names. The food was outstanding, it may have been better than our last visit.
The new owner came over and introduced himself, he was very nice and I wish him luck, can't wait to return again.
