   That was the toughest veal I’ve ever had. You need a new chef. Doesn’t he pound it or are you purchasing lower grade meat. I make veal all the time. Fresh market has a decent quality

   Disappointed- I’ve always been very happy with the service, food and atmosphere but something has changed. People standing around the bar should have been asked to have a seat - they were within a foot of our table and the waitress had to maneuver around them. My spaghetti arrived “warm”. Sent back to get hot and it came back with another helping if sauce - way too much for my liking so they redid it. New order was still not hot but I just kept it and didn’t say anything. My friend ordered the roasted salmon with green beans. She received the end of the filet and the beans were not cooked. This has been my favorite restaurant for years but sadly I may not be going again or as often

   We made a reservation online, which was super easy to do. We were seated promptly after arrival. Our waitress was fantastic: prompt, helpful, and funny! The food was delicious and a great value. We’re looking forward to returning soon!

   Nice location with nice ambiance and well-staffed restaurant! We have dined at Amerigo three times in the past six months and enjoyed it every time. Our waiter was outstanding. Our dinner was delicious.

   Don't miss the chance to go to Amerigo's for lunch, brunch, or dinner. The service is close to perfect, and the food is a delight. It is always served hot, and the bread with herbs and oil is devine. The hostess is so nice, and always makes you feel welcome. The ambiance is so comforting and makes one feel right at home. Come and enjoy a delightful dining experience.

    Joined 2 friends for lunch. Had the Nona Salad. It’s filled with all kinds of goodies. I added salmon, and it is always cooked perfectly. Delicious and filling. Amerigo’s is one of our “go to” places to dine….food is always excellent.

    We moved east and just haven’t been able to get back there. I’d forgotten how good Amerigo’s is. Even recommended it to my boss for our work Christmas dinner!

    Its been years since we dined at Amerigo's and we were once again pleased with our experience. Since we were joined by some dear friends, it made the evening quite enjoyable. The others said the food was good, however my chicken picatta was somewhat disappointing this time and I won't be ordering it again. The ambience is always superb and the service impeccable! Can't wait to go back and try something else this time!

    My family and I went for my birthday and had an excellent time. Our server, Kendall, was very friendly and attentive, and gave the best service we’d had in a while. The food was delicious and well portioned. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I’m looking forward to dining there again.

    From the moment we arrived , we were greeted and seated right away and everything went so smoothly. The wait staff was friendly and efficient and the food was wonderful. We tried the early bird specials and they are a great bargain. This place never disappoints.

    We had Amerigo as a special meal shortly after Christmas. The food was fair. Very large portions. The service was good but not exceptional. We found the food to be barley above Olive Garden quality. The price was definitely not on par with the quality. Ronnie Grisanti’s still takes the cake for authentic Italian food in the East Memphis area.

    Amerigo is the restaurant that must be in your go to list! The owners of this restaurant know how to design menu with appeal - made to order dishes without ever knowing it’s a franchise. Ruthie was an amazing server & treated us like her own family. Thanks Ruthie for outstanding customer service when we visited Memphis. Foods we ate on not one trip but came back a second time included- Cheese Fritters , seafood Pasta, Ribeye, Artichokes, Arugula & Griled Apple Salad, Fettuccine Alfredo, Brownie Dessert with Praline Ice cream. All get a 10/10. Keep up the great work ! Love this Restaurant and the great attitude of its hardworking staff.

    I look at all the reviews before I came. This spot is wonderful. Waiter was awesome for me and my guess. Didn’t rush us brought our drinks on time and stop by to make sure we was great. The price of the food is very very reasonable the food was great. The cheese fritters were elegant. Light sauce and cream didn’t over power the fritter which was great. Bow tie and sausage was very delicious. So much couldn’t eat all. Lake farm blacken catfish tasty. Prices are nice compare to other restaurants. Nice atmosphere as well.

    My wife and I are not fans of national chains or even regional ones, but this regional gem is an exception. We have never had a bad experience nor a bad meal at Amerigo-Memphis. To the contrary, every experience and meal has been top notch. Yesterday, was no exception. My wife ordered Chicken Marsala, which came with a generous portion of tender chicken breast, beautiful mushrooms, served on a bed of fettuccine, and rich marsala sauce. I went with the Bowtie & Sausage, a spicy Italian sausage ground, with bowtie pasta, and a creamy tomato vodka sauce which is heaven on a plate. Our server was Mark, and his smile and 5-star service can only be outdone by the coolest hair in the world. Amerigo-Memphis is an outstanding experience.
