   My number 1 dish to rate an Italian joint is the Veal parmesan. Firstly, the noodles were not spaghetti but closer to pappardelle or fettuccine and were overcooked. Sauce was OK. The Veal was by far the worst I ever had. Flat, stale rubber. I can usually power through mediocre to subpar Italian food. This was an exception. Appetizer was the mussels. Half were good but the other half tasted super fishy. Caesar salad was a 7 dollar add on but was closer to some 2 dollar hollar. I know this might sound overkill but even the water tasted like it was from the tap. I was told it was filtered but definitely tasted like it came from the bathroom sink. Not at all what I'd expect for an Italian spot that you make reservations too. Server was nice. No complaints w the service. They did comp one of the Veal dishes though neither me nor my wife finished even a quarter of our meal. We're just visiting in Huntsville so hopefully they have some better offerings for Italian cuisine.

I'm glad to know a manager stepped in to turn things around for you while you dined with us, though I'm sorry to hear that our attempts to remedy the situation were unsuccessful. We never want a guest leaving with an unsatisfactory experience, but it sounds like we came up short here, which I am very sorry for. We appreciate your patronage and feedback, and hope that you'll reconsider a return visit in the future.

   Great meals and service. We take our out-of-town guests here knowing they will always be pleased

   Get reservations they were empty at 5 and packed at 6. I had crab cakes, veal saltimboca and key lime pie. Everything was delicious. They’re a sister restaurant to Char so similar food quality but Italian. 5/5 would go again.

   When we go with our daughter and her family, the big booths are great for us all to sit together with our granddaughter.

   The experience started slow; once the waitress returned with our water, the service was really good. Surprisingly, Leo’s pasta (and I added chicken) was really good. I normally don’t like red sauces, but I did really enjoy it. In addition, Amerigo gives you a nice portion of food. My husband and I will return.

    This is a great Italian restaurant and it's very close to home. The food and service are top notch. It is lovely and quiet. The perfect place to enjoy a meal and friends.
