Consistently good food. Bread is to die for, and salmon delicious. Smaller portions of the main menu for lunch are all good options--and very willing to substitute upon request. My friend's gluten free and she always finds something tasty to order.
Great place to go. Wonderful fun and atmosphere. Wait staff is friendly and quick.
Thanks for a super dinner.
Food is consistently good, though fairly predictable. Always a great value, but wish chef would branch out a little with more innovative dishes.
Amerigo never disappoints - great food, great atmosphere and great service. 11 years and counting and we wouldn't have any other restuarant our go to.
We were greeted by Ashley, our server, who insisted on us giving her a hard time in order to irritate her boss. Mission accomplished.
Ashley recommended her favorites from the menu, all of which were delicious. The filet with blue cheese, a spiral noodle with spicy sausage, and one other dish.
One last message for Ashley...Mike Glen says go to Karios on Tuesday nights!
The food was great, once it was prepared gluten free as I'd requested and discussed at length with the waiter. When it was served and I asked if it was GF, the waiter actually admitted that he hadn't put it in their system that way. After the manager brought me the properly-prepared dish, I had no complaints.
We love to eat here. Always fresh and delicious! We enjoy Sunday brunch after church, happy hour and dinner, too. My favorite is the chicken piccata, but like trying different items on the menu.Never disappointed.
Amerigo never disappoints. Great food, reasonable prices, & good service. Really great lunch specials! With Open Table Reservations, we were able to get in & out & back to work.
Prompt and attentive service and always excellent food with unique twists on classics.
Our 'go to' neighborhood comfy place. Always great food with many choices, and a great staff. We feel like family.
Excellent food and service. No rushing at all. Very enjoyable.
Great food, service & atmosphere.
The best kept secret is to go for DINNER (Easter, Mother's Day) that are more popular for brunch/lunch- a much quieter, more laid-back experience! Food was excellent.
Unfortunately, this was the worst service I ever experienced at Amerigos on Easter Sunday. We sat for a few minutes (with empty tables around us) before anyone approached us. Then no one checked on us after our meals were served until time to remove plates (my son's water glass went empty for awhile). I will still return but was very disappointed on Sunday.
We had a great experience eating there for Easter lunch. We had 4 menus of food choices and were all pleased with our food choices.
The chicken piccata was delicious as always, bot the sirloin was not very tender
Great service and the food is always wonderful!!
Dinner was great and Ed our server is always great!
Excellent as always
Have not been in several years and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The waiter was excellent, friendly and attentive without going overboard. The crab cake and calamari appetizers were really tasty. For entree I had the sirloin steak and my wife had the trout special. Both were really well prepared and tasted fantastic. Will certainly be not be waiting years before I go back again.
Great food and excellent service!
Last review of Amerigo's. We go all the time, so, YES, we like it a a lot.
Amerigo continues to be a neighborhood gem. The bartender waited on our table of three and did an outstanding job taking care of us. Our food was terrific, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere in the bar is cozy and charming. Lovely meal.
Food and service was excellent as always.
Not favorable. We were looking forward to a nice Italian dinner. We arrived at our reservation time, waited 5 minutes for the hostess stand to be occupied. Service was good. The veal was patties, not a cutlet. Over cooked and dry. The sauce was nothing to write home about. Crossing this restaurant off our list.
Right up my alley. Solid Italian food. Great atmosphere and great service.
One of our favorite restaurants to visit whenever we are in town!!
We have come before and the host isn’t very welcoming. It’s kinda of awkward. Our table was right in front of the kitchen. My husband got bumped by servers several times. I was anxious to eat and get out of there.
We always enjoy our meals at Amerigo’s! The food is always prepared with fresh ingredients and is consistently wonderful. And the servers are friendly and helpful. I usually try one of the fish specials or an omelette; my wife typically goes for the pasta bolognase or chicken margherite with pink sauce. And the tiramisu is the best in Nashville!
Great for brunch.
Excellent service, food is always great, and a favorite place to dine. Varied menu has many options from gluten free to farm-to-table, to Italian dishes and pizza as well as steaks and chops.
We are there a couple of times a month. Ed takes care of us at the bar... always with great recommendations and service. We've never had anything we didn't think was great. So, yeah, we're going back!
Amerigos is the Italian restaurant we usually like to go to, however, we were not real impressed with the food and was really disappointed with the service this last time. It used to be a step above Macaroni Grill (now out of business) and Carrabba's, but not so sure I would rate Amerigos as a step above, now. I had the Veal Parm and the marinara was nothing special. Our waitress was really out of sync which can really put a damper on the whole evening. We will go back, hoping it was just an off night.
The gluten free pizza dough was bad! Everything else was ok but not what we expected based on the 4 star rating of the restaurant.
Three ladies met for an early dinner at Amerigo - Cool Spring. Two enjoyed salmon cooked perfectly to order. I had the mushroom ravioli for the first time and will definitely order it again. Bread served with dinner is too yummy. No room for dessert. Perhaps I will start with that next time!
We were seated next to the private dining room that had a large group. They were kind enough to close the doors so the noise was not an issue for our entire meal. Service was excellent and the food is always delicious.
Fantastic as always. Best Italian in town. Unpretentious and friendly staff.
Amerigo rocks it again. They never disappoint on anything. Excellent as always.
Best pasta place in Franklin. My favorite is the carbonara pasta but every time I go I try to taste a different plate just 'cause this place is worth it. Recommend the Veal Picatta and their St Valentines Seafood pasta
The Seafood Pasta was superb!
