Nice everyday Italian spot.
Food is good, but the marinara sauce is a bit watery for our taste.
Nice meat, pasta, and veal dishes.
Friendly service and a decent wine list.

Fantastic as usual, we always dine in the bar area and Ed takes care of us as he has for many years.

We were seated within 10 minutes of our reservation time, though it was disappointing that the host took a party of 4 with a later reservation to their table first -- especially since we ended up stuck at the table nearest a kitchen entrance. I fear they saw we had our two middle-school daughters with us and that relegated us to a bad table.

Server was very friendly, prompt, and personable. Soups and entrees were outstanding -- served hot, very generous portions. Tiramisu was the only disappointment, as it was more akin to yellow cake than it was a to an authentic tiramisu.

We dine at Amerigo's about 6 times a year, and the food/service is always top-notch. We'll certainly be back.

Tiramisu is always delicious as well as the bread. It is really hard to read the menu with evening lighting. Glad I made a reservation.

A great dining experience, although they had not received my confirmed reservation that I made through OpenTable that I had made the day before

Good service and atmosphere. Generous size drinks and portions. A good value. 2nd visit to this location. Favorite menu item had changed, we thought significantly and it was a bit of a disappointment. Guess the old adage of 'you can't go home again" was true. We will go again and we will try something different next time.

Loved Amerigo! Wonxerful Italian food and great bread. Fairly quiet adult atmosphere. Wine and food prices are more than reasonable considering quality of food. Will definitely put it on my favorites list.

The food was pretty bland, lacked quality and originality. It's truly a franchise 'italian' that's turned into an overpriced olive garden.

The veal saltimbocca was terribly salty. I normally get the smoked chicken ravioli, which is delicious. Kids meals are $5 and serve a lot of food. My husband's pasta carbonara was delicious! Overall, one of our favorite places to go!

Great food, service and price. Large portions wth great prices. Artichoke dip to die for but 2000 calories. Excellent pasta and even the bread and wines are good. Highly recommend especially with families😄

Excellent food, service, and environment. My only complaint is that we had a reservation at 7:15 p.m. and had to wait 25 minutes past our reservation time for seating. Our guests for the meal were very kind about the wait, but it was embarrassing to me as the host.

We have been celebrating anniversaries here over the years on a fairly regular basis. We eat here at Amerigo's in Cool Springs more often than other restaurants for our anniversary dinner assuming we haven't traveled to some special spot on the globe for one of the "special year" events. It's cozy inside, the service is always good, and the food is great. We like it very much.

This was our second time at Amerigo and I'm very sorry to say it was a big disappointment. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful so no problems there. But the food was definitely not as good as I had remembered. My husbands salmon came out overly dry. Our server took it back and the second time around it was done perfectly. My chicken marsala was not in a light wine marsala sauce rather a heavy commercial tasting brown sauce... unappetizing! Caesar salad ok. Tiramisu large portion but unfortunately rather tasteless . Sorry - really wanted to recommend... maybe we just ordered the wrong things. reasonably priced - a plus for families

Our threesome had an excellent meal. We enjoyed several improvements in the bruchetta, the bread and our meals since our last visit. My pizza was superb. Loved the thin fresh crust and the local ingredient toppings. Fillet was cooked to perfection and was delicious. All 3 meals were delicious and well prepared.
This is our go to place, and they never disappoint.

Was expecting better food after reading the other reviews. We were a party of 2. We started with Bruschetta. It was way too salty. Then we ordered chicken piccata and scallops. My dish ( chicken ) was mediocre at best. The angel hair pasta was inedible. Over cooked for sure. My husband enjoyed the scallops. The restaurant talks about their ethnic background. This food was not quality , delicious Italian food. I can not recommend this place.

This was not the same Amerigo that we have enjoyed in the past. Salads were WAY over dressed. Cedar Plank Sea Bass was dry, rubbery and tasteless. My husband's steak tasted good, but was a little greasy. Daughter loved her chicken parmesan. Overall, the service was good, not great. Hoping this was just an off night.
