Have not been in several years and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The waiter was excellent, friendly and attentive without going overboard. The crab cake and calamari appetizers were really tasty. For entree I had the sirloin steak and my wife had the trout special. Both were really well prepared and tasted fantastic. Will certainly be not be waiting years before I go back again.
Great food and excellent service!
Last review of Amerigo's. We go all the time, so, YES, we like it a a lot.
Amerigo continues to be a neighborhood gem. The bartender waited on our table of three and did an outstanding job taking care of us. Our food was terrific, the service was very friendly and the atmosphere in the bar is cozy and charming. Lovely meal.
Food and service was excellent as always.
Not favorable. We were looking forward to a nice Italian dinner. We arrived at our reservation time, waited 5 minutes for the hostess stand to be occupied. Service was good. The veal was patties, not a cutlet. Over cooked and dry. The sauce was nothing to write home about. Crossing this restaurant off our list.
Right up my alley. Solid Italian food. Great atmosphere and great service.
One of our favorite restaurants to visit whenever we are in town!!
We have come before and the host isn’t very welcoming. It’s kinda of awkward. Our table was right in front of the kitchen. My husband got bumped by servers several times. I was anxious to eat and get out of there.
We always enjoy our meals at Amerigo’s! The food is always prepared with fresh ingredients and is consistently wonderful. And the servers are friendly and helpful. I usually try one of the fish specials or an omelette; my wife typically goes for the pasta bolognase or chicken margherite with pink sauce. And the tiramisu is the best in Nashville!
Great for brunch.
Excellent service, food is always great, and a favorite place to dine. Varied menu has many options from gluten free to farm-to-table, to Italian dishes and pizza as well as steaks and chops.
We are there a couple of times a month. Ed takes care of us at the bar... always with great recommendations and service. We've never had anything we didn't think was great. So, yeah, we're going back!
Amerigos is the Italian restaurant we usually like to go to, however, we were not real impressed with the food and was really disappointed with the service this last time. It used to be a step above Macaroni Grill (now out of business) and Carrabba's, but not so sure I would rate Amerigos as a step above, now. I had the Veal Parm and the marinara was nothing special. Our waitress was really out of sync which can really put a damper on the whole evening. We will go back, hoping it was just an off night.
The gluten free pizza dough was bad! Everything else was ok but not what we expected based on the 4 star rating of the restaurant.
Three ladies met for an early dinner at Amerigo - Cool Spring. Two enjoyed salmon cooked perfectly to order. I had the mushroom ravioli for the first time and will definitely order it again. Bread served with dinner is too yummy. No room for dessert. Perhaps I will start with that next time!
We were seated next to the private dining room that had a large group. They were kind enough to close the doors so the noise was not an issue for our entire meal. Service was excellent and the food is always delicious.
Fantastic as always. Best Italian in town. Unpretentious and friendly staff.
Amerigo rocks it again. They never disappoint on anything. Excellent as always.
Best pasta place in Franklin. My favorite is the carbonara pasta but every time I go I try to taste a different plate just 'cause this place is worth it. Recommend the Veal Picatta and their St Valentines Seafood pasta
The Seafood Pasta was superb!
Excellent service and food!!! The atmosphere is tremendous and the staff are very customer service oriented.
I LOVE Amerigos! I would be happy to go there for any and ever occasion! Great service and great management! Delicious food with lots of options! Very accommodating for all kinds of dietary needs! I also really enjoy the ambiance!
Food was great. Service a little slow but all in all good experience.
Always a neighborhood treat. Good wine, excellent food and great service!
Amerigo is consistently delicious and their service is top-notch!
Always a great choice for healthy plates, conversation and good wine.
I was a busy night this night! The wait was long even for reversing guest, but besides that everything else was awesome
Early bird special from 4 to 6pm offered great dinner options. Really enjoyed quick date. Reserved with open table and didn't have to wait when we arrived. There was 30 minute wait for walk ins. Thank you open table!
Amerigo’s continues to be our go to restaurant. There is no place in Nashville that can match the service, food, and value. Try the Happy Hour and Early Bird Specials!
Excellent wait staff, nice wines by the glass. Food is pretty good not great
Amerigo’s is always good. Good service and good food.
Our server was very attentive. The bread and olive oil with herbs was delicious - fresh and warm. The food, however, was disappointing. The veal piccata consisted of a small mound of pasta with veal medallions that were chewy, lots of mushrooms, some capers, all swimming in way too much sauce. The flavor of the sauce was good; however, because the quantity was excessive, neither the presentation nor the taste were appealing. The spaghetti and meatball dish also was disappointing. The person consuming the dish said the sauce was bland and sweet and the meatball tasted of too much dried oregano. The spaghetti was okay - did not seem homemade - something expected for an upscale Italian restaurant. The tiramisu was sitting in two sauces - one bittersweet chocolate that was tasty, and one very runny vanilla sauce - more milk than sauce. Overall, a disappointing meal - won't be back.
Our trips to Nashville would not be complete without a trip to Amerigos! Michael has served us many times and is fantastic, as is everything on the menu!
Our group had a nice lunch at Amerigos. The place has a somewhat upscale casual dining atmosphere. We had wonderfully attentive service. My guests enjoyed all of their dishes. The burger is huge, as is the turkey wrap. The mussels are very tasty and you receive a good amount. One guest had the chicken marsala and loved it while I had the blackened trout over green beans drizzled with balsamic vinegar and found it excellent.
Worst lasagna ever. Looked and tasted like a frozen entree from across the street at Publix. Disappointed; last visit.
Love the food and service! Highly recommend this for lunch or dinner.
Long enough delay in receiving food that I had to ask about it. Would expect better service at a restaurant like this. And the restaurant was not crowded, probably due to cold weather??? Sunday 11:30 AM.
My first time for Amerigo, I thought it was very good. Steak was excellent, perfect medium doneness. Asiago mashed potatoes were a bit on the cheesy side but still not bad at all. I would recommend it and also revisit, hopefully soon!
Good food and good service. Only issue was had to wait 15minutes for table even though we had a reservation
