The food at America's is superb. The service is perfect as well. Our waiter had a nice sense of humor as well. Portions are perfect and dessert is a must!
Americas is normally one of my boyfriend and I's favorite spots, especially for Sunday brunch (which is a GREAT value)- HOWEVER, this Valentine's day weekend (the 17th) was a totally different story. Not only was our table very uncomfortable, noisy, and cold, it took a good 20 mins to even get our drink order in and the prices and values were outrageous. $29 for 2 tiny pieces of pork with no sides, $10 for a drink that is $3 on a Sunday, $11 for 2 empanadas (which, if you know empanadas, is RIDICULOUS), and $17 for a half of a cup of ceviche. Additionally, the tres leches we were served was the same price as normal but half the size that it usually is (though, it was delicious as always). It was like being cheated considering we've been to Americas for dinner many times in the past and expected their normal portions considering they were charging their usual, if not inflated, prices. If this is how dinner service will be from now on, we won't be returning for anything other than Sunday brunch.
I loved this place we had a 25th birthday dinner for a special someone and he loved it!
Great food, service and ambience. Timing of food delivery was excellent. Only issue was trying to pay the bill. Waited an excessive amount of time for my card to be returned since their internet was down. In the end, their ancient card swiper functioned as a suitable substitute and did the job.
Best experience I've had at any restaurant, from the food to service 15 🌟. Very unique menu and ambiance.
Came here on 2/15/2018 and really enjoyed the food, however, it literally took about 15 minutes to be greeted by our server and during that time plenty of staff walked by us and never even made the effort to ask if we had been greeted. After being greeted we noticed that the table we were sitting at was right under an A/C vent which only became colder the longer we sat and waited. We asked 3 servers and the host if they could please lower the A/C down because it was extremely cold and no one ever did. Eventually we asked to be moved to another table because it just got uncomfortably cold, fortunately our server said yes but didn’t even bother to help us move our plates or drinks to the other table. To make matters worse the table we moved to was still cold so we figuered that they weren’t going to lower the A/C down after several attempts asking. Overall, the food was very tasty but we couldn’t get the fact that it was so cold out of our minds, to top it off there was some spiderwebs hanging from the ceiling which made it a bit unappetizing.
I understand Valentines is a busy day for restaurants but I’d figure that making a reservation and willing to spend over $160+ for 2 people would bring me at least above average service with a cleaner restaurant and maybe a bit more accommodating.
Food was good, service was great
Always great experience, highly recommend, food ambience and service are top notch.
Too noisy and crowded, I guess it’s to be expected on V-day, but they were obviously trying to milk the cow and get everyone in and out quickly.
Apparently, the Valentine's Day crowd overwhelmed the kitchen, even early in the evening. My steak was charred black and had to be scraped to get to the edible medium rare part. (I pointed this out to the server, who offered no accommodation.) The lobster, on the other hand, was slightly underdone.
Food was great! Server, Pedro did a great job! The place was not full which made the environment more cozy. I will go back soon.
Outstanding service and food with a flair!! Highly recommend!!
It was a great brunch. A good place to be. Nice environment.
Nice modern setting with a good selection of dishes. The grouper was nicely done and very tasty. Wines by the glass were reasonably priced and had a good selection on offer.
I took my beautiful Wife and Daughter here for a nice Valentine's dinner, and we were not disappointed. Our waiter, Pedro, made sure that we received wonderful attention, and suggested some of the best dishes to try as well. We tried a wonderful red wine, empanadas and ceviche mixto appetizers, and then eventually followed with an assortment of wonderful dinner plates. I opted the seafood paella, while my Wife had the Churrassco steak, and my daughter had the filet and lobster special. All of us loved our dishes, the attention to detail, and the wonderful upscale décor, service, and delectable food selections. My only complaint is that the portions need to be bigger. But it was a wonderful choice for a memorable Valentine's Dinner with my two women.
Food was great. Marlon was excellent & it’s a great waiter. Marlon provided an experience to remembered full with indulgences. Definitely request the guy!
We had a wonderful dinner to celebrate two birthdays. Our waiter, Gino, was very attentive and presented a great, special dessert flambe' style for the table.
I had a fantastic time celebrating my husband's birthday here. The food was phenomenal - we had lobster corndogs, salmon, sea bass and alfajores. The drinks were STRONG! And our server was fantastic. This was a 10/10 meal and the experience surpassed all expectations.
The best perfect food and service.
I loved the unique decor and relaxed atmosphere of this upscale restaurant. Great for celebrating my birthday. The complimentary plantain chips and sauces are delicious, and presentation of each dish special and appealing. I ordered the stuffed pork tenderloin and it was tender and seasoned well with a tamale-like center , unusual and very good. Our server was wonderful, ending the delightful meal with a flambé version of tres leches cake that was truly a treat. Even the restrooms are remarkably appointed. Highly recommend for special occasions!
Quite lovely,a slow Tuesday night, beautifully taken care of . Top notch all around !
Americas is our favorite place to eat Brunch, the food is delicious and a good value for everything that you get.
The decor is very unusual, so fun for celebrations and special dates for dinner and a quiet place and good value and very tasty food for lunch.
We had an exceptionally large group of women and our server was very accommodating and patient! As the organizer, I was a little nervous about a brunch with 21 people, but there were no issues at all and everyone had a wonderful time! I am especially appreciative of how welcoming and kind our server was to us! I have been here many times and I will be coming back for a long time! Thank you so much for such a positive dining experience! Oh and... the brunch is simply amazing!
Had the steak and lobster special and it was cooked perfectly! Waiter was really great too.
Great to go back after several years and have a great experience
Excellent food, excellent ambience
The restaurant was excellent, the food was great, along with the serving portions. I most enjoyed the waiter who provided the details concerning the decor and it's meaning
Americas and the Corduas never fail! Always the best service and food.
This place has been around for a while but may only be getting better.
Great restaurant, great cuisine, have gone for 7 years there. Consistently good food and good service!
