They said birthday dessert would be complimentary and they charged me; unfortunately i didn't pay attention that night and i lost the receipt. very expensive for the experience in general. not coming back and don't recommend the ambience either
There for Sunday brunch. Seating arrangements seemed a little odd and we were seated in a kind of thoroughfare overlooked by booths. The place also felt quite empty. Can't quite put my finger on it, but it felt strange. Variety of food was extremely broad, although the serving stations at the buffet did not flow as one would normally expect. The food quality was splendid. Americas is different, so I don't feel disappointed and wouldn't discourage others from trying it.
The service was amazing. Food was awesome and it’s a kids friendly place!
Loved the food and the service. We went at 6:15 on a Friday and it was very quiet.
Americas food is always great, but this wine dinner had exceptional cuisine. The wines were also very good.
I have not been to Americas in a few years. My husband and I came for Sunday brunch 4/8/18. This location(The ONLY one now) is beautiful.
First, Marlon(our server was GREAT) .
Second, The manager also came by and that is always nice in a restaurant.
Last,My husband tried EVERYTHING including the dessert. I had the same thing, potatoes, grilled vegetables and I tried the plaintains with chimichurri sauce, so good. For the two of us our bill was $90+ dollars with ice tea and my husband also got a double shot of expresso, so a once in a while or special occasion place.
Great food, great service, great ambiance. Loved our evening there. Birthday lunch for a friend. 👍👍👍
We enjoyed the happy hour drinks and great food. Santiago & Freddie provided great customer service. Great atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
We had a table for 14 for Easter Sunday. We had been to Americas for the Sunday brunch recently and had enjoyed it very much and wanted to try the Easter Brunch. Even with such a large table the service was impeccable. The real show is the food. There was an endless spread of Americas specialties like chicken crusted with fried plantains, ceviche, seasoned boiled shrimp, prime rib etc. The dessert table with tres leches, macaroons, rice pudding, chocolate chocolate chocolate..Mmm. We will be back.
Easter brunch. Delicious. Lots of choices. Great service. Most of the family had not been there. Girls loved the “funkiness” of the place, including the restrooms.
Been going here for Easter brunch for the past 6 years. Excellent food and atmosphere
Top to Bottom Brunch was awesome!!!!!!!! staff was on Top of everything and the food was great. being that it was Brunch you can not take a to go. so we put some cookies in my wife's bag...... they were the Bomb...
Easter dinner with our family
Inventive South American recipes such as lobster corndogs, complimentary plantain chips, decent Wines, and sinfully good deserts.
Marlon, our waiter, was excellent! The Churasco steak is the best in the West.
We had a delightful evening celebrating a birthday. The food was outstanding and well priced for the quality. We had the ceviche flight of three, beef empanadas, chicken empanadas, churrasco steak with lobster tail, and snapper — all prepared to perfection and beautifully presented. Paired with a reasonably priced Malbec. Tres leches flambé for dessert. Service was attentive, knowledgeable and efficient without feeling rushed. Atmosphere was lively and fun, but still quiet enough to have a conversation. Wonderful evening! Thank you!
This pan-Latin menu was excellent. You may not typically think of Latin American as being as appropriate for business means but you will be pleasantly surprised. Everything that was ordered was excellent from the steaks to the fish.
Very good cocktails and amazing food. The steaks and seafood were fantastic and the service was personable. I brought my mother and sister and they had a great time.
Chose America's for our 3rd anniversary. Staff had our table and requested champagne ready for us when we walked in. Food was excellent, service was great, and overall it was a very romantic start to our evening. We will definitely be returning
Food was delicious and an excellent service...I recommend it. A++
Wait staff was absolutely the best. Great place.
We decided to try the brunch menu and the food tasted delicious the only issue was that some of the choices were gone from the buffet table and not re-stocked while we were there.
Great service and ambiance. Fantastic empanadas! However even with a lot of choices Sunday brunch left me not really impressed for that pretty high fixed price. And please, increase the size of desserts - these are for midgets! Alfajores are really good
Food was excellent along with the service! Ploys waiter was perfect! Great atmosphere. Our mojitos were perfect and out dinner was even better. We will definitely be back really soon!
We loved our food! Wait staff was particularly helpful. Great experience
all good. waiter needs to slow down his speech. hard to follow what he was saying cause he was talkingbso fast. really always enjoy thisbrestaurant. plus, the mashed potatoes were amazing. lol
My crab was so good and the pablano soup is to die for 🤤
The food at America's is superb. The service is perfect as well. Our waiter had a nice sense of humor as well. Portions are perfect and dessert is a must!
Americas is normally one of my boyfriend and I's favorite spots, especially for Sunday brunch (which is a GREAT value)- HOWEVER, this Valentine's day weekend (the 17th) was a totally different story. Not only was our table very uncomfortable, noisy, and cold, it took a good 20 mins to even get our drink order in and the prices and values were outrageous. $29 for 2 tiny pieces of pork with no sides, $10 for a drink that is $3 on a Sunday, $11 for 2 empanadas (which, if you know empanadas, is RIDICULOUS), and $17 for a half of a cup of ceviche. Additionally, the tres leches we were served was the same price as normal but half the size that it usually is (though, it was delicious as always). It was like being cheated considering we've been to Americas for dinner many times in the past and expected their normal portions considering they were charging their usual, if not inflated, prices. If this is how dinner service will be from now on, we won't be returning for anything other than Sunday brunch.
I loved this place we had a 25th birthday dinner for a special someone and he loved it!
Great food, service and ambience. Timing of food delivery was excellent. Only issue was trying to pay the bill. Waited an excessive amount of time for my card to be returned since their internet was down. In the end, their ancient card swiper functioned as a suitable substitute and did the job.
Best experience I've had at any restaurant, from the food to service 15 🌟. Very unique menu and ambiance.
Came here on 2/15/2018 and really enjoyed the food, however, it literally took about 15 minutes to be greeted by our server and during that time plenty of staff walked by us and never even made the effort to ask if we had been greeted. After being greeted we noticed that the table we were sitting at was right under an A/C vent which only became colder the longer we sat and waited. We asked 3 servers and the host if they could please lower the A/C down because it was extremely cold and no one ever did. Eventually we asked to be moved to another table because it just got uncomfortably cold, fortunately our server said yes but didn’t even bother to help us move our plates or drinks to the other table. To make matters worse the table we moved to was still cold so we figuered that they weren’t going to lower the A/C down after several attempts asking. Overall, the food was very tasty but we couldn’t get the fact that it was so cold out of our minds, to top it off there was some spiderwebs hanging from the ceiling which made it a bit unappetizing.
I understand Valentines is a busy day for restaurants but I’d figure that making a reservation and willing to spend over $160+ for 2 people would bring me at least above average service with a cleaner restaurant and maybe a bit more accommodating.
Food was good, service was great
Always great experience, highly recommend, food ambience and service are top notch.
Too noisy and crowded, I guess it’s to be expected on V-day, but they were obviously trying to milk the cow and get everyone in and out quickly.
Apparently, the Valentine's Day crowd overwhelmed the kitchen, even early in the evening. My steak was charred black and had to be scraped to get to the edible medium rare part. (I pointed this out to the server, who offered no accommodation.) The lobster, on the other hand, was slightly underdone.
Food was great! Server, Pedro did a great job! The place was not full which made the environment more cozy. I will go back soon.
Outstanding service and food with a flair!! Highly recommend!!
It was a great brunch. A good place to be. Nice environment.
