Americano - Freestyle Tapas Bar
Sunday- 3:00pm- 9:00pm
Brunch: Saturday and Sunday- 11:00am-3:00pm
The food was outstanding! Ropa Vieja, hummus, shiitake mushrooms, all amazing! Our server was great too! I believe his name was Danny.
We had the sangria and swirl. Both fabulous! We had come in before 6 so both were on Happy Hour! Bonus! Highly recommend this spot for a fun and delicious evening!
Had a good experience. Sangria was great. Our server was prompt and encouraged us to order everything and they would pace our meal. When inquiring about the spice level of the potatoes, we were insured that they weren’t overly spicy. Brussels & goat cheese were very good as were the cauliflower & scallops. The potatoes were so spicy no one could eat them. The tiny table was quickly overwhelmed with all dishes as the pacing sped up dramatically after the first two items. Overall it was a decent experience but would have been better at a slower pace & some attention to whether we were enjoying our food.
Never been disappointed here. Always a great experience.
Awesome and very unique tapas flavors. We are big foodies and this did not disappoint. The paella is to die for but be warned, there is a lot of it. Very affordable.
A fantastic experience with incredible energy and food options! Everything from the ease of reservation, friendly and fun wait staff, to the phenomenal food presentation was perfect. The perfect venue for a wedding anniversary night, centered around a fun foodie-centric meal! 11/10 would recommend
Good veggie omelet and burger! Not very crowded and good service and food.
We went for brunch on Sunday, the place was empty. The meal was bland and overpriced. Service was outstanding, but we won't be back for the brunch menu. I had high hopes this place would knock it out of the park, but it unfortunately did not.
This is not a negative to the restaurant, but it is unfortunate for them... nearly 25% tax on wine??? That is the highest I have seen anywhere in the country. The ridiculously high food and beverage taxes make it seem the value of your meal is lessened, when in reality it is just the local government robbing you blind.
Can’t say enough about this gem. DELICIOUS food. There wasn’t a bad plate ordered, trust me there were 11 in our group. The pallea was absolutely worth the wait. And the brussel sprouts were to die for. Definitely the table favorite. David, our waiter was incredible. Had great recommendations, so sweet and always made sure our drinks were full!
Great food, great time. Had an absolute blast. Would highly recommend.
David took great care of us. Almost went to Barcelona but Americano’s menu sounded more intriguing. The tuna poke tostada, Ropa vieja, burnt butter shrimp with tons of garlic and the Brussel sprouts were all excellent. Patatas bravas with sweet potatoes was standard fare. Happened to go in on a Wednesday and wine was 1/2 off. Nice surprise. Around the corner from Hilton Garden Inn where we were staying.
After seeing great reviews, we decided to try it, close to our hotel. But thefood was forgettable. In a town with so many great restaurants, imsorry we wastedone of our nights here....defiantly wouldn’t go back.
Excellent food drinks and service. I was so impressed by this restaurant, and it was just a skip from our hotel. I wish we had discovered it on the first day of the trip because I would have eaten every meal there, I wanted to try every dish! Don't be fooled by it's unassuming location, you will get gourmet "foodie" dishes and drinks for a reasonable price. A few of my faves were the Grilled Peach, Seared Scallops, and Ropa Vieja. To drink, try a gin and tonic with Wint & Lila gin. Yum!
Food was delicious and the wait staff was very nice and attentive.
It was an okay choice for a fun evening with friends. The lamb tartar should not be on the menu. It was borderline...disgusting. Okay...it was just nasty. Best thing on the menu is the Roja and hot cauliflower. The drinks are overpriced but tolerable. I have had worse.
Great food and even better service! We will be back!
I used to eat at Americano multiple times a week when I worked on West End Ave but then I changed careers. Coming back after 10 months of being away and eating the Brussel Sprouts again was like seeing an old friend whom you've really missed, I almost teared up. Speaking of old friends we requested David to wait on us, cause he was always my favorite sever (besides that guy with the big beard, I really loved him). David explained all the new items and we took his suggestions regarding the Ropa Vieja, and the Peach Salad. The tapas did not disappoint!! The peaches were fantastic and the tomatoes really complimented them (they actually tasted as fresh as some my friend picked from her garden and I ate the same day). The Ropa Vieja which is a cuban dish was my favorite, I could have eaten a 2nd order for desert. David also whipped up a Watermelon Mint mocktail for the girl of my dreams who I was lucky enough to be out on a date with. Speaking of which, the vibe was nice and chill even though they were busy, the temperature was perfect to cool down on a hot night, and it was just a really nice place to be on a Saturday night. My only regret about the evening is that George the owner was not there. We always had a good laugh, and he's always making all the guys look bad because he's dressed better than everyone!! We'll be back soon!!
David, our server, was amazing and the food was unbelievable. We plan to take some friends again next weekend who are flying in to visit!
We were visiting Nashville and were looking for something a little unusual/different that "tourist food", Americano delivered.
We made an early evening reservation (6:15) and the restaurant was really just getting going and very quiet when we arrived. By 7:00 it was very energetic, but we could still have a conversation.
The service was excellent. The Manager made several suggestions upon our request and all were as described and just what we desired. The food was delivered hot from the kitchen and it seemed by anyone that was available. The suggested 3 plates for the 2 of us was a good start and we ended up ordering 2 more (5 total for 2 of us).
Overall it was great experience and if we return to Nashville it will be a GO TO Spot.
We loved it! What more can we say. Excellent all around and highly recommended.
I cannot say enough about the service at Americano. David was our server, and he was AWESOME. He was super knowledgeable about the menu, and gave great recommendations for plates to try and the appropriate number of plates to start with. He also made me a "mini" version of the drink I was considering since I was unsure if I'd like it. It was great for a date night, the ambiance was really nice, and the food was delicious. Thank you, David, for helping to make our first dining experience in Nashville so great!
The service was very good. Food was better than OK but not outstanding. We’d go back.
Exceptional service and eclectic creative cuisine! Our large party sampled most of the tapas and we were not disappointed! We also enjoyed the fun cocktails ! Highly recommended!
Went to dinner with family, we loved the ambiance and great food. We enjoyed the variety of tapas and great sangria, such a fun place to try new food!
Our waitress was very attentive and professional. The food was amazing and the margarita/sangria swirl was phenomenal!!! I can't wait to dine and drink here again!
Server was great. I did not think the food was very good. Paella was burnt.
Everytime we going to Americano we are in for a treat. Menu constantly changes and always delivers.
Out-of-town guest/friends reunion!!
Took some of the best items off the menu. That is such a shame.
I love this place! It never disappoints! There are several dishes that are on the menu all the time that are SO good - brussel sprouts - to name one. And, there are are always seasonal dishes to surprise you!
Execellent paella!! Overall, one of my favorite menus in town!
Excellent find on short notice. Four of us shared a few tapas along with the Americano Paella. Everyone enjoyed :)
David, our server was excellent! Very knowledgeable about all the dishes and preparations. We’ll be back soon! So many good things to try!
We LOVED our dining experience. Our waiter was fabulous, and the food was delicious!
My husbands birthday, visiting Nashville and we wanted something simple that we could enjoy, after all the Nashville cuisine. We love Spanish tapas, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere amiable.
Excellent food. Ordered Paella and tapas including brussel sprouts, beet hummus, rice noodles and tacos. It was so good! Lovely server - Thank you, Ariana!
Great food and service! Especially loved the Brussels Sprouts! Going back soon to try the paella.
Went for our 2nd year for Mother’s Day brunch. Wonderful food, excellent wait staff, nice environment.
