Americana Las Vegas
Great location for a special celebration. Wonderful service and atmosphere.
We go here a lot, this week was exceptional. Started with oysters, i had on the half shell, the Washington Puget Sound are astonishing in taste and texture & my wife had the goat cheese salad. My wife had "fried oysters" (not on the menu) for dinner prepared especially for her by the chef, they were astonishing!!! i had the duck (new menu item), OH MY!! it was very good, i would reorder again in a heartbeat!!
You CANNOT ignore the "Smoked Old Fashioned" made with the special house bourbon.
I'm sorry I didn't get our server's name but he was the all time best. We sat outside with no other customers so the ambience was spectacular! Especially for a first date! Very impressed! Food was great too!!!
A friend of mine introduced us to Americana last year for brunch and we had a wonderful experience then. This time, we brought out of town friends as well as local friends for a get together to enjoy the dining experience again and without fail, the restaurant staff did not fail to exceed our expectations! As we were seated upon arrival, Nicholas, who remembered us from our last time here greeted us. He even remembered where we sat the last time we were here over 6 months ago so we were very pleasantly surprised by his attention to details!
The food was tastefully presented course after course... so much that before our final course, we actually had a difficult time finishing. Pairing the food with the bottomless brunch cocktails made the whole dining experience complete. Thanks again to the wonderful attentive staff for making our dining experience worthwhile! We will be back soon!
Brunch at Americana is absolutely terrific! The multiple courses and the diverse offerings coupled with exceptional service (and our constantly refilled bottomless beverages) made for a memorable and soon to be repeated dining experience. Go... you’ll be happy you did.
We went to the Americana Restaurant for our best friends anniversary. We went on Wednesday because it’s Lobster night. The amount of lobster was small but it was only$20.00. It had a good sauce and the root vegetables were good. My husband ordered the short ribs. They were really good but not a big amount. The place is gorgeous! Even have outside dining on the lake. Appetizers were great!
Excellent service and food. The wait staff was very attentive and helpful
Unfortunately, there was an event (a wedding, we think) the same time we were in the restaurant. We waited to order a glass of wine and then we waited probably another 15 minutes before we got our cocktails and wine. Our waiter said it was because of the event and our thought was that management should have anticipated the demand and put on more staff. The food was ok. The romaine hearts had a fairly typical creamy caesars. We love the traditional with anchovy paste, garlic and oil. The short ribs were good but the pink horseradish mousse was tasteless. How can horseradish be tasteless? The steak Diane was highly anticipated but fell flat although we loved the table side presentation. A coffee was served lukewarm and our dessert, some kind of lemon dessert with meringue was ice cold and hard. When we mentioned it to our waiter, he Said it was supposed to be cold, but hard? The dining room is lovely and the outside space on the lake is beautiful but this dinner was a disappointment.
Always great service and ambiance.. love that chef can accommodate dietary restrictions. the main course veal chop was chewy. Cabbage salad and Bread pudding was amazing.
Americana Las Vegas is truly a dining delight. The host and wait staff are friendly and outgoing who take pleasure in serving their guests. The culinary staff in the kitchen turned out truly marvelous meals. Our party ran the gambit of fowl, beef and seafood and all the items were prepared perfectly. The wine list was truly a superb list of higher end wines that matched the menu items perfectly. This place is strongly recommend for a quiet night out or a special occasion.
The service was great and it was nice to sit near the water, beautiful and relaxing view.
The food was very yummy, we felt the service for drinks was really slow. We had continually ask for refills on our beverages
We enjoy Americana and will be back
Celebrated my birthday at Americana. We had Sunday Brunch unlimited and oh my! . . . we can only eat so much! We were able to taste everything. The presentation and taste of each of the dishes was excellent. The ambiance, outdoor dining with sweeping view of the lake is amazing. So serene and makes you enjoy every bite of your food. Beautiful experience.
Ordered off menu. Food and service were equally wonderful. Can't wait to visit again and soon!
Great food, nice view and amazing service.
Unfortunately this was one of the worst “fine dining” experiences my husband and I have ever had. I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the service was very good and the view was nice. The food, however, was very disappointing. The oyster Rockefeller was to die for but everything from there was downhill. The lobster tortellini was okay but overpriced, the lobster mac and cheese was dry and just okay, my husband had a $50 filet and he was very disappointed that it came smothered in a green sauce that overpowered and hid the meat, and my fish was cooked nicely but lacked seasoning and flavor. Overall, for a $200 dinner to only have one food item be truly good was disappointing to say the least.
We enjoyed the restaurant. Nestled on a small lake, this place was a gem. The food was well prepared and the service was spot on. Well be back.
Awesome service, exceptional value, exceptional food! One of our favorite restaurants in Vegas!
Dining on the patio was delightful except for the rather loud muzak and a voluble customer at an adjacent table. Must request a table wisely next time. Weds. lobster special was perfectly cooked, but a bit over-sauced. Otherwise a perfect place for conversational dining and good food.
Great food served with good cheer by the staff. Friendly people all around helps foster an atmosphere of a gourmet meal served at your best friend's beautiful but comfortable home.
First time visit to this restaurant gem located in the Desert Shores community which is within a 10 minute drive from my home. Been living in the area nearly 11 years & had no idea a restaurant of this caliber not housed within a casino/hotel was this elegant with food & service to match. I will definitely become a regular visitor when in the mood for some fine dining without the casino hassle.
We did the unlimited brunch today - previously we'd only been for their happy hour. We are so glad we found Americana! Their service is always friendly, whether at the bar or in the dining room. The food is really top notch. The short rib and filet at happy hour is an amazing deal. The selection at brunch is so great - do not miss the Benedict with braised pork or the churros for dessert. We will be back again and again.
Best Sunday brunch in Las Vegas, possibly anywhere. Don't miss out. 16 small plates and you get them all. Oh yea, unlimited, mimosas, bloody's, sangria too. Don't walk - run!
Lovely place and wonderful food. We went for Sunday brunch. They had plenty of runners but I think they needed one more waiter/waitress or perhaps more kitchen staff as we waited quite a while in between courses. Very friendly staff and a beautiful place.
Very nice restaurant next to a small lake. Great selection of entrees, including vegetarian options. Would definitely return again.
The best brunch, ever! Chef is stupendous. If this restaurant was located on the Vegas strip you would be fighting over obtaining a reservation.
Fine dining at its best.
Excellent service and all dishes were prepared nicely. Of course the view is very relaxing.
Food was excellent, server kept checking on us. Our drinks were always refreshed, busser were on top of removing old plates.
Hostess was nice enough. Got there at 10:55am...told them I had 2 more people in my party. So from a party of 9 to 11. Waited 15 minutes only to be brought to a table set for 9. Nobody was there. Then waiter proceeds to announce “if one person gets all you can eat, everyone gets it. All or nothing people.” I mean, it was so weird and rude...he should really change his style for making “announcements”. Then when we decided we would al do a la carte, his response was “it’s ll really small portions”. Weirdo. Menu for brunch is tiny, food is borderline bad. The only saving grace was the view. Otherwise, I see very very little reason to return.
Exceptional as always. Lamb Chops were top notch
We were a party of six celebrating her birthday. We had Joel and Jesse serving us. They were both so fun and great at their jobs. Loved the ambiance and views of the lake. We will be back!
Absolutely amazing service and so happy to have a vegan tasting menu option. Huge portions for the money. My only concern was the amount of oil used. My veggies were swimming in oil :( Even so, I would definitely go back.
Absolutely fantastic location. Romantic at night and beautify during the day. Outside patio right on the water's edge.
Sunday brunch was fabulous. We tried almost all the items on the menu and each one was well executed.
Chef , tried something different for the end of summer celebration by doing a barbecue style dinner. The seating was communal at large tables for eight. The initial course of oysters, potato salad, Cole slaw was self served at a side board. Waygu hot dogs, beans, roasted corn on the cob, tacos was table served. The main course of marinated melt in your mouth hanger steak and mashed potatoes was incredible. For and additional $20 I chose the endless beer (Guinness) package. Dessert was fresh pineapple. yellow watermelon and Spamoni in a wafer cone. All of this was lakeside and once again a magnificent dining experience.
Great birthday dinner.
I came here with my boyfriend for our 2 year anniversary and it was so enjoyable. The staff was friendly and always there when we needed them and also left us alone to enjoy the date. The food and wine was delicious! I will come here again in the future (:
The food was amazing! The place is so clean and elegant! The service and the staff are super friendly and nice. Out server audi was fantastic!
sat out on the patio, great atmosphere and beautiful setting. As always the food was excellent - we had the stone fruit salad and octopus appetizers, short rib and branzino entrees. All very good
We had a wonderful dinner by the lake. The food and service were excellent. Our disappointment was in the communication. One of the specials, which we purchased was the Tomahawk steak for three people. Never once were we told the price, but we didn't bother to ask. When we got the bill, we discovered that it was $275 (over $90 per person). We were floored!! If we had known the price, we would have opted for something more reasonable. Don't get me wrong, the steak was great, but the surprise at not being told the price was not great. We'll go back because the food is great, but we'll be more careful about ordering the special.
