   Some tables have speakers right over them, making it too loud to talk. Interesting and very good food choices. Steak was amazing! And if course unbeatable selection of whisky.

   Great food with great service. The wine, beer and Whiskey list was on the money. A great pre or post Garden event place. Cool atmosphere !! We will be back!!

   Service was a complete fail and there were OUT of several food choices and get this.. whiskey! Eat at the Garden if this was your pre game plan.

   We decided to come here for dinner before seeing a movie on a Friday night. I made reservations through OpenTable and they sat us right away in a nice spot towards the back corner. The bar is very long and there were a lot of people, but you couldn't hear them where we were, which was nice. Our waitress was sweet and patient since two of our members were running late. I got the burger with crinkle cut fries, we got the small venison burger, tater tots and the ribs. We all loved our burgers and the fries were very tasty and nicely salted. My friend liked the ribs, but said it was hard to cut through. The checks were all done on a tablet, which was convenient for saving time and we could all easily split the check. Overall, nice atmosphere, good food and good service.

   I love this place because of the whiskey conoisseurial theme, the high-quality beverage list (the cocktails in particular are exquisite), and the knowledgeable and attentive bartenders. Plus, it's between my office and my commute hub. However, I hate the cavernous atmosphere and the nouveau-polished concrete decor. It makes the place 3x louder than it needs to be, no matter how fashionable it was 4 years ago. I hate the fact that the place is frequently so full of frat-boy young professionals (who are often dismissive or oblivious to other clientele), to the point where it's difficult to even get a seat at the bar some days. Good for the owners, but tough to dine and drink as a single woman, as I often do. I also find the menu a bit precious. Certain items are excellent, like the venison sliders and the broccoli doused in powdered cheese, but I feel it's veered into precious plates and a tad too far off real, varied meal options.

   Had to ask for ketchup. Had to ask for salt & pepper. Had to ask for more water. Had to ask for more drinks. Appetizer plates were not removed from the table before the mains came out so we also had to clear the table for the server. Extremely low lighting & yes we are in the late 40s age bracket, but we had to use the flashlights on our phones to read the menu. And a very limited menu. However, both meals were tasty & staff was friendly. Atmosphere in the bar very fun, dining room a little lacking. Not an awful experience but wouldn't go back.

    My wife and I went there before we went to MSG to see Billy Joel, so proximity was a selling point. The food was good and so was the drink selection. It's pricey but it's Manhattan so considering that it wasn't too bad. Our waitress was awful. She disappeared after our food came and I had to go directly to the bar twice to get my wife and I drinks. My wife is not a big drinker either so it's not like she was knocking them back all that fast. Besides that the bartenders were good, courteous and efficient, I think it was just our waitress that was poor. Would recommend.
