It was a lovely environment right on the water. Some loud partakers of the bottomless mimosas but that is to be expected and not the restaurants fault.
We enjoyed the patio, good food, nice cocktails.
Bday celebration! Nice ambiance good food and good prices
It was brunch for my 29th birthday. We made reservations originally for 11:45 but got there way earlier and the host accommodated us anyways. Our server was great constantly staying on top of my friends bottomless mimosas.
The busted potatoes are always a favorite and the Mac and cheese is the die for.
Food and drinks took very long to be ready and restaurant wasn’t even busy.
Went for brunch and had a great experience. Will return in the evening to see what the vybz is like.
The atmosphere was the best part of this restaurant. It sits right on the water and we had a beautiful view. The food is more like bar food. We sampled a couple of dishes and everything was subpar. The Mac n cheese was bland, the pizza is thick like Digiorno, the Brussels sprouts were burnt and the chicken sandwich was dry. I probably wouldn’t return.
The food was horrible. My friends and I were very disappointed. After a night out we were hoping to get some brunch. However, this was not the case. The sad part is we paid for something that we couldn’t eat and left still hungry. I’m guessing the chef was over it since it was July 4th.
The eggs were overcooked and dry. I ordered donut holes and got burnt donuts (I had to request for new ones and it still came out burnt). The burger BLAT chicken I also ordered came out dry and tasteless.
My friend ordered a chicken salad and she got an overcooked chicken. Even the romaine looked old.
Overall poor customer service.
My friends and I love this place for happy hour. $4 margs and the vibe is always super great
Lauren was the outdoor waitress and bartender. Very attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend.
For being located in the Downtown Brickell area I really expected more from this place. Our food was cold and took a long time to be brought out. Appetizers came out with our main entrée. Even though we went for brunch, the restaurant didn't start getting busy until after we arrived. Needless to say very disappointed.
Great Happy Hour! We received a great value and the food and drinks were really good. A great place to take people visiting in town or to hang out with friends.
Very good food and service. Highly recommend. I would go again!
We had an excellent experience for an early dinner. Was a little disappointed at the fact that only 1.5 hr after brunch had ended and lunch/ dinner had started we were told there was no ribs left.
Good experience overall.
Terrible experience with host and manager. Will see you in court!
My party and I sat out by the water and it was very nice, beautiful scenery. The waiter Josh was awesome, he was training someone, sorry, I forgot the trainees name but he was great also. The whole team was great. It was a nice vibe, definitely worth it.
The atmosphere was awesome !!
Waiter was perfect. I’ll definitely be back !!
Birthday... wanted to charge us $25 to bring a small cake and light the little candles to celebrate.. we were so upset about this we ended up just having the cake at home. Such a greedy policy and we realized that this policy was just a reflection of the attitude and culture of this restaurant. It shows when your there, great location and views though.
Great venue, food was good but portion sizes were small for price, and the service started good but ended terrible.
They have a 2 hour stay which was not establish ahead of time. Our food did not come until 45 mins after we got there so they started kicking us out before the “2 hours” was up. We had to talk to multiple managers.
Loved everything about this place! Will definitely be back.
Great happy hour drinks! Atmosphere was fun, food and music were great, and our server was awesome!
Josh was an AMAZING server! Very attentive.
Waited 20 minutes after being seated to be recognized by a server. They brought one meal out and the other came 10 minutes later but was missing bacon. We then waited 30 minutes before the server brought us our check. Thank God the view was great.
JoshUa was very busy and did a great job !
Our waiter Adrian!!! Amazing. Extremely helpful, funny, and service was top notch. We were here for one of our last days on vacation and by far the best service and experience we’ve received at a at restaurant we have been to in MIA
I don’t recommend this place. We got there and no one came to us for 30 minutes and we had to go in and ask for a waiter or someone to get us water. We got some food, but they got one of my friends orders wrong and another friend started to feel queazy. On the bright side, they fixed the order for my friend and didn’t charge for their meals, which was appreciated. That said I wouldn’t really recommend the place.
I will definitely dine at this place again. Great for friends or family gathering or just a casual day out . Outdoor seating available with great views .
I was just looking for a casual dinner — the good reviews and reservation availability got me here. We visit Miami several times per year, sometimes for the weekend, occasionally a full week. I always check opentable in advance & I have a good track record of picking restaurants that my family will enjoy. That ended today.
This place was loud, the service slow and the food sub-par. At 6pm, the music was so loud that our server had to lean over our table to hear us. Our drinks arrived after our food. Some of the staff had their masks around their necks; most of the customers were walking around without masks. My ‘Nashville hot’ chicken sandwich was not hot at all. Despite making a reservation several days in advance, we were seated at possibly the worst table in the house, right near the door with all of the staff and customers constantly walking by. One of the waiters bumped me with a tray of food and said nothing. An employee (the manager??) asked ‘how everything was’ after we sat without drinks for 30 minutes — he ran away when we let him know that our drinks hadn’t even arrived and we never saw him again.
I’m so upset with myself for selecting this place. It’s not about the cost or the experience — it’s that I wasted a night of vacation on a horribly run restaurant in a town with far better food options.
I know this is a casual place, I was not expecting perfection, but I want to warn others — do not waste your time.
This was a good choice to celebrate my husband’s birthday. We’re lucky to have a table at the patio where we were very happy watching the boats and enjoying the nice weather. The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Thank you for making my husband’s birthday wonderful.
Brunch! Great nice price, unlimited mimosa, nice music and beautiful view.
The waiter was super nice, only problem was, we ordered a steak and it was extremely hard, the salmon was extra small.
IdK what happened that day, but the service was MISERABLE. They took an hour to get a couple of burgers with french fries. Beer would take forever as well... I've been there before and It hasn't been that bad. Idk why It had to be in my birthday that bad... the worst part was that, The organization was SO poor , that the server who was assisting us, had no idea which ticket corresponded to each person and he ended up charging me 250$ for a card (I ended up paying for my friend's even though they have paid already) because of the fact that he wasn't sure who had paid what and who hadn't.
I’ve been to this restaurant a handful of times. I’ve always enjoyed it but this past Saturday was an embarrassment and disappointment. I made reservations for 9p and arrived earlier and was able to be seated with my guests. But it took 45 minutes before service. I complained twice until someone finally come to take our orders. Our first drinks were comped and staff was apologetic and I thought the evening would get better, but it didn’t. The food did not end up as good the drinks were so that’s okay but one of my guests did not receive her entree for a whole extra hour. I was embarrassed because I said how much I enjoyed not only the ambiance but food and service and after this I will never return. Unacceptable in my case for an out of town welcoming for my best friend....
Lovely view of the River. Great Happy Hour pricing.
My friends and I had a great time at American Social. We sat outside and enjoyed the ambiance watching the boats pass.
Nice lunch spot on the river for fish tacos and a beer. It looks like it could be popular dinner spot.
We made reservations for here for a birthday. It was very hard to find in all of the chaos that is downtown Miami. When we finally did we were a little disappointed to know that we didn’t have much of a choice other than to valet park. We were seated right away and immediately informed of their happy hour and Taco Tuesday special ( love when a server doesn’t try to HIDE the specials ). The view was very nice, it wasn’t your typical Miami Beach view. Instead the city and the river, which was pleasant. Portions were a great value. PLUS 4$ margaritas( they were amazing ) you literally cannot beat that anywhere. However, when someone in my party was ready for their next drink and next round of All you can eat tacos, the server was nowhere to be found. Finally a manager came by just to check on everything and we asked him for those things, he said they would be out in “less than 2 minutes”. Took about 15 minutes. And even after we were finished eating everything, it was another 20 minutes or so until the server came back around to get our check.. Food was great, server was very Friendly but service was a little slower than I would have preferred. If you’re there just to hang out and drink, I’m sure it’s a good speed for that. I would definitely still go back to this location.
We sat outside beautiful on the River. We had great food and a great waitress Claudia. Will definitely be back.
