   Birthday dinner with friends. The restaurant and bar were empty with the exception of one additional group and stayed empty for our entire meal until another group entered as we were leaving. With it relatively empty, it was very quiet which was nice for conversation. The wait staff was professional and friendly. Despite what seemed like dining in a closed restaurant (and was peculiar) the food and service were very good to excellent. The seating was noticeably showing it's age which was also unusal for a high-end restaurant. Despite the two noted oddities, the meal was enjoyable and delicious!

   Good food & ability to have a conversation. Alisson, our server, was great! Highly recommend American Prime!!

   Very nice steakhouse in a corner of Tysons--- on a Saturday night, it was quiet and an ideal setting for a pre-Capitol One Hall concert. Wedge salad was delicious, steak done as asked for. Plus small one scoop of ice cream was a perfect amount of dessert after a large meal!

   Sorry to be blunt, but the worst steakhouse in the DMV area... They "in-house dry-aged" steak tasted awful.

   Prime rib - horrible Smokey New York- horribly salty Whole restaurant smelled of cigarettes Upholstery ripped Waitress was great Fries - good Salad - good They don’t have bread Decent wine list

   Celebrated anniversary 💍 with my wife here and it was wonderful. Waiters were very attentive, nice and superb. Food review: Spinach Artichoke was delicious. Wife loves the creamy flavor and smooth cheese blend. The best highlight of the menu was the “smokehouse prime rib” really big in size and delicious. So bold flavorful and not salty it was amazing and wife love prime rib. She said 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

   Second visit to American Prime and it once again didn’t disappoint. Excellent food, outstanding service! Can not recommend the prime rib, filet mignon or ribeye strongly enough. Simply amazing!

    We had eaten here before during the summer, so we sat outside. Unfortunately, this time we were seated inside. It is a very small room fairly crowded but what really was remarkable was the decor. The seat pads were in shambles, discolored, torn, and peeling, and it was hard to get past that for dinner. The steaks were good. We had the tomahawk the fillet, and the prime rib -very tasty. Unfortunately, the sides were horribly salted and covered with cheese. It was barely edible. There was very little corn with lots of cheese and spinach was puréed and extremely salty would not recommend any of the sides including the potatoes dish. Fortunately, there are a lot of steakhouses in the area, skip this one.
