American Kitchen Bar & Grill at B Resort & Spa
Limited menu. Waitress was slow and didn't even know what beer was on tap! Spent a lot of money on a disappointing meal.
Great food, great service, great restaurant!
The service provided by Casmore was amazing. The quality of the food itself was prepared nicely and thoughtfully. The reason I am giving this a lower rating is because the entrees that were ordered were all heavily overly smoked and were almost inedible for my personal taste as well as the others in my party.
Food was okay. Wait staff was very short handed. What should have been an hour lasted almost 2:30
A bit more expensive than expected. My guess is because we ate there on New year's eve, there was a different, much pricier menu. The food was good but not worth the pricetag.
the menu is really cool and the food is amazing! creative yummy fun choices- lots of flavor- large open space and bar.
It was Thanksgiving and we were a large, so I get it. But the salad station wasn’t replenished as quick as it should have. Many customers were lined up waiting for salad items and plates to be replenished. Our entrees took 1.5 hours to come out which is frustrating when you have babies/toddlers to feed. The restaurant didn’t seem prepared for the holiday. The staff was very nice and tried to accommodate accordingly but overall, it just wasn’t a pleasant experience.
Wish I could give ZERO stars. After waiting over 30 min for our food out of 5 meals 3 were cold and one was wrong. Then after the worst Thanksgiving meal we have had it took forever the bill and I’m ready to pay....no server in sight....after the manager apologizes it still doesn’t make up for the worst experience ever...wont ever come back and definitely won’t stay at this hotel either!!!!
Went for Thanksgiving Dinner as we were traveling through town. Frankly, it’s a service they shouldn’t bother offering. While we appreciated that the turkey was organic and the thanksgiving menu very affordable, we would have much preferred to pay more and get better service with better meals. If I were staying at the hotel, I might eat there in a pinch. It’s your average hotel restaurant, nothing particularly special and it shows.
Loved the Americana decor; Food was fine but not outstanding. A couple steps above Applebee’s, which is about what I expected.
Went for happy hour.... Great small plates! All were delicious. Don't miss the ribs, the shrimp and the egg rolls.
No one to greet us, empty and no music, it was 7.30pm on a Friday!. Waiter didn’t know the menu, took 20 mins to come back to take our drinks order. Steaks were not cooked how we requested. The presentation of the food was great but the food was below par.
Doubt I’d go back or recommend.
This could have been so good if this good chef hadn’t chosen to highlight his food in a restaurant that caters to group tours, kids running wild and drunken patrons. It would have helped if the server tried to engage with us, tell us about his favorites on the menu and encouraged us to buy drinks to highlight our meal. The food was overshadowed by all these other shortcomings.
I liked what I ordered and the food was what I would expect. It’s not a place or meal that I’m going to remember a month from now. I would not steer people away from it, but wouldn’t remember to send anyone there either. It served a purpose for our need.
Typical hotel restaurant. The breakfast buffet was about the same as a low budget chain buffet. Most notable was the stale pastries, room temperature hot foods, watery eggs that weren't freshly made, and the smoked salmon was just sitting on an unchilled plate (which would get them a health code violation in any other city.)
Their menu was limited, but the waiter was flexible and we ordered off the menu.
It is expected that it wouldn't be a good value since it's Disney and a hotel, but still...almost 100 for a breakfast for four is pretty outrageous. Especially with better food at IHOP at 1/3 the price. At least our waiter was nice.
We went for our Daughter’s 18th Birthday dinner. We had a reservation and some of us arrived a little early so we sat in the bar area to have drinks while we were waiting. The bartender, Karren, welcomed us warmly and served us promptly. He was taking such good care of us that we decided to have our dinner in the bar area. The food was delicious and Karren gave us excellent service for our party of 10 and made our dinner a lot of fun. We will definitely go back!
There was no one at the podium when we arrived. My wife’s entre was cold and neither the chef nor the manager stopped by our table. When I made the reservation I added it was my wife’s birthday. They didn’t acknowledge it. The only good thing was the bartender, Karren. I dare someone to contact me.
Excellent food and great service. Just what we were looking for.
We celebrated Mother’s Day at American Kitchen Bar & Grill and really enjoyed all the food!
Food and service was great. Under a $50 off restaurant voucher with no problem.
Slow slow slow service. No silverware. Two meals were not edible. Stay away. We should have known when we saw how empty the restaurant was.
We ordered the chopped salad with blackened salmon and it was fresh and tasty! Also, tried the fried avocado and it was delicious--no room for dessert! There weren't many folks in the restaurant when we dined so the server had plenty of time to provide comfortable service!
We could not find any parking for people outside the resort so we went somewhere else.
American Kitchen Bar & Grill was great! We were staying at the hotel next door, so my children and I walked over with my mother. The staff told the kids they could play in the truck while they waited to eat, which was pretty much one of the highlights of coming down to Florida (forget Disney, the truck is where it's at)! The food was good, the drinks were a bit pricey, but it's Orlando, so not a total surprise.
Very Slow slow slow slow service and salty salty food
Where to begin ... We (4 adults; 2 kids (9 and 7) arrived to the empty host's stand and waited a handful of minutes before walking to the bar. Told the bartender we had a reservation and he said, "Just seat yourselves." A host subsequently appeared to check us in.
After we were seated, it took at least 15 minutes to place our drink order ... and another 25 minutes for them to arrive. It was not busy; maybe 3-4 other tables seated and 2-3 patrons at the bar.
Mom ordered the fried chicken and waffles ... 35 minutes later, it arrived; THE CHICKEN, though fried on the outside WAS RAW UNDER THE BREADING! After cutting into all pieces to be sure this was the case throughout (with raw chicken juice all over the waffles and plate), the server offered to take only the chicken back to the kitchen; no thank you. Service was inattentive throughout the meal.
One bright note: 2 of the other 3 dishes (salad and salmon) were prepared nicely and tasted good.
When the bill showed up, the chicken and waffles were taken care of ... but a 20% tip was included. Amazing.
The concept of the restaurant was cool and was decorated nicely inside. Menu items were well-designed and we were anxious to try a new place. However, until the kitchen, bartender and servers can present a more palatable experience, I would advise you to give this place some time to straighten things out; hopefully, sooner rather than later.
The place was empty, so we were apprehensive, but we are so pleased that we took a chance! The food was outstanding, the bartender made my drink perfectly, they are very friendly and child welcoming. We went for dinner. I heard from the locals that people don't go there because there is lack of parking, but the restaurant will validate your parking ticket, so GO, GO, GO!
Service was good. Average food for above average prices.
The food was amazing, our server was one of the best we have ever had.
Thanksgiving dinner for 4.
Our waiter was outstanding and the bar server even came to the table to see how we enjoyed our wine. We love this restaurant
Ambiance was great and the service with a wonderful staff member called Hassan was impeccable. I had the salmon with perfect salad and risotto. Loved it!
The Orlando guidebook recommended it as Guy Fieri’s restaurant. We wanted to try it because I’m a big fan. The server said they get that often and it wasn’t his restaurant, and we were one of three customers in the entire place. The menu is quirky, not large, and there are totally different menus for lunch and dinner. Our service started slowly but improved, and the food was good.
I’m glad I wasn’t paying for the breakfast - it was included in our package. Food was cold and nowhere near the excellent quality of dinner in the same place the night before.
Excellent menu and service. Food was outstanding- we shared a flatbread and the smoked chicken and waffles. Wish the breakfast waffles had been of the same quality! Finished with the AK s’mores - would have loved more of the crispy marshmallow crunch!
