Always a great experience: food very good, everything from appetizer to dessert. Service good also. Worth the money
Great meal. Great atmosphere.
This is a phenomenal place, both the service and food will blow you away!
Excellent service, food is always on par.
One of the most creative menus of any steak house. Splendid, attentive service. Great cocktails.
Great experience food and service top notch. Will continue to come in.
Did not expect head banging rock at a pricey steak joint and we almost left because of it. We thought the ribeyes that we ordered were flavored well but cut too thin (less than an inch) which made it hard to control doneness. We had never seen it so thin other than at inexpensive restaurants or on some prix fixe deals. Our medium-rare orders were more like medium. Probably better for those seeking a fun experience with a show than those who just want a nice piece of steak in quiet company.
Very professional staff and excellent food all while feeling extremely safe. Highly recommended.
Love this place and second time back since pandemic. Nice dividers between tables and felt very comfortable throughout. Great major league service and wonderful food. Try the smoked wagyu a real treat
American Cut was a truly outstanding choice to host a 40th birthday dinner. The ambiance, service and food were all excellent. The Seafood Tower was impressive, as were the perfectly cooked steaks and sides. I am already looking forward to my next dinner there, which will be soon!
Perfect dry-aged strip steak, fantastic cockatils.
The service, food and the ambiance was phenomenal!!Me and my wife really enjoyed ourselves!! The steak was so tender and the biscuits were so good. We can’t wait to go back again.
The food was nothing special, the service was beyond amazing!
This is my favorite place ever.
Amazing overall experience. The servers were very professional and the food was great.
Fantastic food and service
The steak was more than 50% fat. I threw it out when I got it home. Horrible!
Mad $$$$ expensive yo
Incredible food, server was a little inattentive even though they put us directly in front of the kitchen so lots of kitchen noises and servers rushing in n out around our table. Despite the service, the food is exceptional and will be coming back hopefully a million times
I took my girlfriend there for Valentine's Day date night & it was delicious. He ambiance was perfect, friendly staff. Great food options & comes to perfection
Awesome and will be going back!
Food and atmosphere were nice. The meal was ok. Probably would not go back.
Always an awesome experience
A favorite of ours for birthdays, or any day for that matter.
They went above and beyond to make our special occasion very special
The host was great and very welcoming.
We had an amazing meal with outstanding service - John was incredible. We will definitely be back!
American Cut is a very good steak restaurant: good food and service. Price to value relationship is a bit tenuous, but still AC is a good choice
Always a great experience at American Cut. I'm going to dream about the wild mushrooms, the lamb chops, and about a quick return trip back!!!!!
The food was good, however we waited an hour for our table. There were five other couples waiting about an hour for their tables as well. Afterwards I asked around and was told that apparently waiting an hour for your table table is their “thing”.
I love this place. I’m no amateur when it comes to NYC steakhouses - I work in sales and often entertain clients at the “top well known” establishments. After discovering American Cut I now only come here for a nice filet. My fiancé took me here for my 30th, then we went back for Winter restaurant week: no matter the night, the service is top notch, their Sommelier Mary is an incredible human, and the food is always amazing. Skip the hype of PL in Brooklyn, and other places that have gotten lazy over the years; Come here for true value and an unforgettable meal!
Had a great time celebrating my sons birthday and the vibe and service were extraordinary. Thank you
Staff was amazing. Was able to hold a reservation for 30 minutes.
The food and service were very good. It's quite pricey but worth the expense for special occasions. Went for restaurant week and was pleased with the atmosphere, decor and comfortable vibe.
The place was really nice. Service was good. The sides we got were really good. We got the Mac and cheese and spinach. But, our steaks were not up to par. Me and my wife ordered our steaks medium. She got the 12 oz filet I got the Ribeye. And they both came out medium well. The server offered to switch it. But I was hungry and didn’t want to wait. I would have to come back and give the steak another chance. If it was cooked properly I’m sure i would have enjoyed it more.
Food was fine, nothing to say, I had a great meal, just good. We cane at 5:30 PM, and we were the first to be seated. Strong smell of bleach in the dining room, it did not add to appetite, we asked to be moved to another side, and we were, a lot further from the kitchen
Amazing service. Great food
