El American Cut representa la churrasquería estadounidense por excelencia.     I had a confirmed reservation and I showed up with a colleague to a closed restaurant. We had to walk and convince Capitol Grill to accommodate us. This was quite embarrassing.

    The food and drinks were excellent!! Huge portions and great taste. It was a bit loud but great ambience overall. We also went upstairs to The Regent which also had great drinks. Will definitely return.

    We ate here a year or so ago and loved it. We're from SC so every time we're in ATL we call to see if it's back open. Our excitement that it finally was open after pandemic was short lived. From downsized menu to poor quality of food. Waitress was very nice however so it made this review less dull. We spent over 500 with 2 guests our first visit. Barely spent 250 with 2 guest last night so the disappointment is evident.

    It was my birthday and Will was our server. He was more than accommodating and he was super sweet! Probably the best server I’ve ever had. Me and my friends had an amazing time!

    Wife’s birthday dinner. We went expecting to get the tamale side steak, but it wasn’t on the menu yet since they just reopened. They still made it a special evening for us going beyond expectations despite not having the table side stall

    The food was very good, but nothing special for a steakhouse. I very much wanted to have a good time and tried my best to defend our anniversary dinner to my husband while dining, but the cost just doesn’t line up with the food for me. The steak was more tender than the quality of steak that I can likely source easily, but if I wanted to spend an evening having just a good Caesar salad, crab cake, green beans, and baked potato with steak, I could do so at Longhorn or Outback without spending $200. The ambiance was nice, but not particularly well suited to a date with the large tables. Our server was also the bartender and she was as attentive as I would expect a bartender working the dining room to be. It was fine. If work wanted me to dine there and was buying, I would go. It seems suited for a business dinner. Not worth it if it’s a date.
