I loved the food and the service, but I am all about the details, and the music didn't set the right vibe. I find that 80's music has no place in an art-deco setting. Classics fit the mood here, and that makes a big difference to me as far as the overall experience. A clear mismatch of decor and the ambient music.
I enjoyed the food and staff was great welcoming and serving.
Thank you for an amazing birthday dinner !!!
Food is great
Great place, great food
Great service, delicious food and a very drastic/fabulous environment.
I would eat here for dinner every night.
Thanks for making our bday dinner outstanding.
American Cut Steakhouse was a great dining experience. The service was great. Made a reservation a few hours prior to arriving and was seated as soon as we walked in. The table side view of our steak was pretty cool. Wish the presentation would have been a bit longer. But all in all it was cool. I think the only thing that did not contribute to me giving 5 stars is the Tomahawk Chop steak we had was pretty much all fat.
Was very excited to compare our experiences from chops, Del Frisco’s Grille, prime, etc etc
We were nicely greeted by the host of the restaurant and then the host took us to what looked like a picnic table seating. We had no frame of reference to what we were to experience so we sat down (at a very wobbly table they could not fit all of our meals). The ambience was so disgusting I had to Google what the restaurant look like and ask the waiter why were we being exposed to this experience because when you spend over $150 a plate you want the ambience to match. What we experienced was close to being at a Chili’s than I ever wanted to be on my anniversary. So it’s a big flat hell no I will not be returning or recommending anyone to go.
I liked it.
The Burrata salad and the Toro Sushi appetizer were outstanding. The Filet Mignon and Branzino wonderfully cooked. The staff and servers all world class. Congratulations to Mit Amin for running a restaurant that is a stand out in the crowded Atlanta dining scene.
Why would you put a pastrami rub on $55 steak. I hate that I took the waiters suggestion it messed up my steak. The Brussel sprouts and the wild mushrooms were great. My wife had the filet and she enjoyed it. But this is not the best steak house in Buckhead. Especially not for the price. It was very loud. It was just an ok experience. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I’m sure I will not return. Nothing too bad it was just average at best and for those prices you want something more than average.
Excellent service, food, and wine!
Took my hubby and daughter for a Valentine’s dinner. Not a good experience. You probably would get better service and better food quality at longhorn. Service was terrible. Waiter had no idea about the food or wine. Only saw him when he took my order. The fixed menu was very composed of cheap food and the desert was just awful. You could get a better red velvet cake from Walmart, it was that bad. Very disappointed. I won’t be back.
Every dish provides a flavorful experience! Garnished with wonderful plate presentation, service and a calming ambiance, visiting this establishment is a MUST
We wanted to do something special with friends. American cut steakhouse was the perfect choice! We all really enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was exceptional!
Overpriced (limited menu) $78 for a piece of fish. The red velvet cake was laughable too. It looked like they picked up a frosted doughnut from dunkin’ doughnuts.
I had a reservation for the restaurant. However I had to wait an hour to be seated. However, there was an older gentleman that was escorting “select” parties right to their tables. We tried to enter the elevator to go to our table once it was finally ready and he actually snubbed us from getting onto the elevator with him and another party he was seating despite it being “plenty” of room to accommodate all of us on the elevator. It was very clear to me that everyone’s money does not spend the same at this restaurant. We were seated beside a large party that was extremely noisy the entire time that we were there. The food was just ok for the price but it’s a pretty place. Save your special occasion dinner for another restaurant and go to American Cut for drinks. I won’t waste my time or money again.
Birthday celebration 🎉
Our 2nd visit to American Cut. The atmosphere is excellent and the service was outstanding. Overall the food was very good. I do think the menu could use some inspiration, some more options such as king crab and creme brulee.
We ordered the Chocolate Praline Bar & enjoyed every bite of it. The perfect blend of sweet & bitter.
Love the atmosphere. Online menu said prime beef but when we arrived menu said angus. We are prime beef lovers so that’s why we chose American Cut. Steaks were still delicious! Service was great.
Great Service and the food is phenomenal
We had a larger group (10 people) celebrating a 40th bday. The restaurant was fantastic and very service oriented. All in all a great experience for me and my party.
Kyles was my server and he happens to be the bartender, too, on the first floor.
Kyle was attentive and made my dining experience phenomenal. He made great suggestions for drinks and for my entree.
I ordered the AC Chops topped off with shrimp scampi, and it was delicious.
I was celebrating my birthday, and Kyles brought out a chocolate caramel cake for my birthday.
That was thoughtful and appreciated!
My wife and I love this place. It’s Madmen set in Atlanta. We started with old fashions which include a table side maple smoking ceremony and we split the wedge salad which looked odd but was a really good cold crisp wedge with blue cheese salad. Burrata was an odd crumbly texture which I would steer you away.
The waiter spaced everything out great and next try we had the porterhouse for two which is flambé tableside which adds some nice presentation and the steak was great. Fries are fantastic. Spinach is very good. Crackerjack Sunday was good but the canoe version always puts everyone else to shame.
Negatives would be the service was hard to find when I wanted something. Also an old fashioned deserves a citrus rind. And the bill.
It was an average experience the waiters kept clearing everything and interrupting our conversations to make their jobs easier the oysters was amazing but the filet was average.
Great all around!
Got to sit where we wanted and still eat and watch football. Service and food was awesome
My wife’s bday! Great experience and excellent steak! One of the best in ATL
