   I went to celebrate Valentine's Day with my boyfriend. They offered a pre-fixed menu and the food and the drinks were exquisite. They had a jazz band playing romantic music. It gave a nice touch for the occasion. The staff were very attentive and friendly. At checkout, the restaurant gave roses and chocolates to the couples. It was a nice and romantic gesture.

   My husband and I celebrated Valentine’s Day at American Brass and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The restaurant was set up so nicely with candles and red tablecloths. The menus had sweet quotes written on them! The food was absolutely delicious and so were the drinks! The staff was amazing (as always). The waiters were so attentive and friendly. The hostess, Liz, is wonderful. She is always so kind, friendly and makes sure that all guests are taken care of. If you want an amazing dining experience, American Brass is the place to try!

   A truly special Valentine’s dinner for two. The ambience is warm and inviting. The live music was at a perfect volume. Even as the restaurant filled, I never felt we had to yell to be heard. Our server was wonderful- ask for Nix. And the dinner was absolutely delicious- the pork chop was thick and juicy. My husband’s steak was so tender. We’ve eaten here several times and although we live in Manhattan, it is a fairly easy trek over to Long Island City. The view is stunning. Enjoy.

    Fantastic meal with attentive, friendly staff, short waits for dishes to arrive, and a comfortable atmosphere. My wife and I couldn’t find fault with a single menu item, not even an improvised mocktail. While somewhat pricey, the quality present in every factor brightened our evening.     Came here for a birthday celebration and would easily go back. Appreciated the custom menus with name of birthday person to card and flowers at the table. Everything we ordered was delicious from a the salad to pork belly. The waiter gave us complimentary dessert and after dinner drinks. I am already planning my next visit!

    Excellent food, service, and overall experience. Had the short rib pasta and burger, focaccia appetizer, and the chocolate raspberry tart. They really made us feel special on our anniversary! Definitely a great place for a special occasion.

    We went for restaurant week and the menu was beautifully crafted, 3 course meal for $45. The salmon starter was like no other, and the parpadelle was absolutely delicious, the dessert was homemade brownie with golden salted caramel bites, also homemade. Chris, chef, came out to say hello and made the experience that more memorable. Liz and staff are always welcoming and professional. Brass makes for a wonderful date spot, or even work dinner. Highly recommend and will be going back soon!

    Had a wonderful date night at this gorgeous waterfront restaurant! Best dinner I've had in LIC- the roast chicken was perfectly moist and the short rib cavatelli was unique and comforting. We started with the salmon tartare, which was a delicious light option, and finished with the chocolate raspberry tart which was so rich and yummy! Their vesper martinis are also awesome! Have had great experiences at brunch and for special events as well

    The team went above and beyond to make my mother-in-law's birthday a very special occasion - and we had never been there before! They made a personalized menu for her and she was really touched. Jose was our server and he was energetic, helpful, kind and efficient. Food was great - if you go to brunch, start with the pastry basket - warm croissants, chocolate muffins and biscuits with butter. The fried chicken sandwich was outrageous - crispy and flavorful with just the right dressing, pickles and slaw. Equally good was the burger and both were accompanied by mountains of hot and thin French fries. Salmon Benedict, served on perfectly crisp potato pancakes, was really good. And of course, the team surprised my MIL with a complimentary delicious dessert - a slice of excellent carrot cake and vanilla gelato topped with a candle. The two hostesses then presented MIL with a single, long-stemmed rose. She felt very pampered and it was a perfect way to celebrate her birthday. Thank you, AB Team! We will be back.

    I had such a wonderful experience at American Brass last night. When making the reservation, I noted that the occasion was for a birthday and they went above and beyond from there. My menu was personalized with HBD wishes, the table was decorated, we received a complimentary birthday dessert + little dessert bites to go, and they topped it all off with a beautiful red rose as we were departing. On top of this special treatment, our entire wait staff was fantastic. Extremely attentive, warm, and friendly. Our waitress completely sold me with her description of the Atlantic cod dish (which was scrumptious), and my boyfriend thoroughly enjoyed the ricotta cavatelli. Finally, the ambiance was perfect with comfortable seating, stunning views of the city skyline, and great background music. I 1000% recommend American Brass.

    Came here with my boyfriend and had absolutely no complaints. The service was great, the food was spectacular. It was a great experience. I love the ambiance here and the lack of pressure to just have some casual dining. We left SO full, but that’s only because we had desert. Recommending the gnocchi & steak tartare specifically.     There are not enough words to describe how amazing this place is!!! My husband and I took my mother in law to celebrate her birthday and we had a magnificent experience. Liz is the most genuine and kind hostess one could hope for. The food was delicious and the cocktails perfectly crafted. Hands down best restaurant in Long Island City!!!
