Amelia's - Tulsa
Delicious and delightful
Amelia’s was phenomenal. I ate there on a Saturday night and despite it being busy our server was both polite and prompt. I came with a larger group (this there were six of us) and we split 3 appetizers as well as shared a few entrees. Everything I tasted was delicious; the blood orange pizza and cheeseburger empanadas especially so. I also tried their ginger whiskey sour and it was surprisingly refreshing. The restaurant is was tastefully decorated and while it was a bit dark, the noise level was very low for how crowded it was. I would definitely come back here again if looking for a fancier place to take friends or family!
First time my wife and I have gone here and it didn't disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing and the vibe was in point. Perfect spot for a date night. Price was on par with the quality of food and service received. We will be back for sure!
This is a fantastic restaurant for any occasion.
Every bite is more delicious than the last. This is one of my new spots. I’ve enjoyed the salmon lox, fried catfish, ravioli, beet and goat cheese salad, wood-fired pizza, and the cobb salad. Super service and is always a wonderful experience. Great Beer selection, especially the IPAs!
Our server was very professional and so kind. This was our first visit to celebrate our anniversary. We will definitely be back!
All I can say is WOW! Wish I could give it more than 5 stars. I was immediately seated when I arrived for my reservation. My waiter was absolutely AMAZING. He was very caring and gave off such great energy. I ordered the salmon and my boyfriend ordered the beef tenderloin. Both were the best meal I’ve ever had. The tenderloin melted in my mouth and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The wine that was paired with my meal was spectacular too. We got champagne on the house for my anniversary which was totally unexpected! Lastly, the Creme brûlée was literally the best I’ve ever had. Everything was so perfect and I would love to eat here again! Definitely 10/10!!!
We have been to Amelia’s before, however; our friend have not. It was a wonderful experience for all of us. Thank you!
Started the evening with the crawfish bisque and a bottle of Barbera D’Alba. Bisque was seasoned very well with a little bit of spice on the backend. Ordered the Tikka Masala dish as my main entree. Rice was cooked to perfection, and the sauce had incredible balance. Finished the evening with the pecan hand pies, which were warm and rich with flavor. Service was outstanding from start to finish. I’d highly recommend this restaurant.
It was one member of the group’s birthday. He and his wife were treated to a glass of champagne. Nice surprise!
Nice small restaurant with good food. Rather loud and chaotic atmosphere bit it was Saturday night. Great wine list, minimal beer choices. The tenderloin was fantastic as was the steak. Ample portions. Staff was nice but averagely so.
Always a great meal, tonight was no exception. Great food, great wine enabled great conversation. Thanks for being my goto Amelia's!
Excellent. The butternut squash ravioli was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had.
We celebrated a belated anniversary dinner and it was a very enjoyable experience. Reservations on a weekend can be challenging so we accepted a high top table and it was perfect. Ambiance is contemporary with a lively vibe. Noise level good for having a conversation. Excellent service with staff members tag-teaming each other serving and taking away plates. Had salmon and husband had trout- both delicious! Topped off with blueberry crisp that was perfect. Very nice experience and would definitely return.
We were in Tulsa for just one night. Three different recommendations came for Amelia’s over the course of our day around town so we booked a late reservation for two seats at the counter. We loved it! Fascinating to watch the precision of each member of the busy kitchen staff in their roles. Our food choices were unique and delicious. The black eyed pea and boiled peanut salad was wonderful as was our hummus/naan appetizer which was prepared right in front of us in the wood fired oven.
Catherine our waiter was very good and service was excellent
The Salmon dish I has was a great and prepared to exactly to what I requested. Our waitress did a great job as well. Her name was Liz.
Been around the culinary worldwide... I’ve been coming since your establishment opened. you guys have not dropped the beat!! Staff, wine selection, food selection and quality up to par to the finest. I never seen you place empty... It’s very rare to see restaurants not drop the quality service... Congratulations. Kudos to the management and chef!
They advertise to sit at the counter and watch them cook but you can’t see anything from the counter except a little food prep and a glimpse of the pizza oven. Food was good.
The food was outstanding. I had the 10 oz steak frites which was terrific, big portion, cooked perfectly. Started with an arugula salad with blue cheese which was very good along with a glass of Pinot Noir. Sat at the counter by the open kitchen. Nice spot to watch the action. Restaurant is nice with counter seating, tables and bar area. Recommend and definitely will return next time in downtown Tulsa.
Great food and excellent cocktails. Nice interior. Ordered tiki masala which was good but I think I expected it to have more of a twist rather than to just be good tiki Masala
Introducing out of town friend to Tulsa! Great meal - never disappoints!
Had a nice server. Food was fresh and exceptional.
We sat for 15 minutes before anyone acknowledged us and were then rushed to place our food order (all courses at once) at the same time as our drink order. Steak was overcooked on the ends and undercooked in the middle. Meatloaf was very dry with a very sweet, thick ketchup like sauce on top. Server took another 15 minutes to return our card after we handed it to her to pay. My husband ended up feeling sick after our meal. Overall very disappointing way to spend our second anniversary.
Amelia’s was excellent as always but I am VERY disappointed with the reservation system (OpenTable) as our reservation time was somehow switched from 6 to 8. This caused us to have to sit at the bar instead of a table. I have an email confirmation stating that we reserved a table for 6 PM but when we arrived we learned that the reservation had somehow been changed. 1 star for opentable, very frustrating.
Went for Restaurant week. I had salmon mousse appetizer, fried chicken main course and banana pudding dessert. My wife had kale salad, shrimp with falafel balls and banana pudding.
Everything was excellent.
Food was delicious and the restaurant is gorgeous!
It’s was a very nice birthday celebration
Kale salad perfect. Wood-fired pizza with caramelized onions, parmigiano and house-cured bacon incredible. I live in the NYC metro area, and don’t anticipate returning to Tulsa anytime soon, but Amelia’s is a reason to come back.
This place is fantastic- the food is fabulous the atmosphere is better😊
I've been trying to get into Amelia's for quite a while now. So I was excited that I finally planned ahead and booked a table for a special occasion (combined birthday celebration for both me & my wife). The overall experience - though good - left us wanting a little more. There was quite a bit of a wait for our table despite the Open Table reservation. Somewhat understandable since seating is pretty limited and the previous party maybe took a little longer than expected. However, there wasn't any apology for the awkward wait in the congested check-in area nor any acknowledgment of our special occasion which I had indicated in the reservation. No matter, we got a decent table by the window with a great outside view. OneOK field was shooting off fireworks so we had probably the best view in the restaurant. Good start ... the cocktails were spot on. I ended up taking the easy way out with the 3-course restaurant week menu while the rest of the family ordered various items from their regular menu. The servers were gracious & polite. However, they seemed a little confused about a few items - mixed up my gazpacho with my wife's and somehow turned my creme brulee into a chocolate cake until I re-emphasized what I had ordered. The food was good & made from fresh, local ingredients just as advertised. However, we all thought that the flavors were a little lacking. It was a very busy night being the first day of restaurant week and the First Friday Art Walk at the same time. Perhaps that added to their confusion and workload. But, for this price point, I would expect a little more. I've had fantastic meals and service in some similarly priced restaurants in Tulsa lately. So Amelia's has a little catching up to do to earn my repeat business - although judging by the traffic they get, they might not need it! Overall a good experience albeit not a "great" one.
We always love Amelia’s. So when we were meeting new (to Tulsa) friends for dinner we of course had to introduce them to your great restaurant!
The food and service are always amazing!
The food was excellent and Nate provided outstanding service!
Beautiful restaurant with a fun atmosphere. Menu is nice and varied, but several items are crazy expensive, and working around those reduces selection to a narrow assortment that was limiting for those who did not want to order fish. Most items were well prepared, but Surf and turf satay was really teriyaki and the beef was nearly raw. Salmon and rainbow trout were fine but unexceptional.
This was our second time eating at Amelia’s , it did not disappoint. Our daughter got the Italian pizza and it was fabulous. Food was excellent
We sat at a bar top by the pizza station and had a great time. This is where all the action is and I would highly recommend it!
Love any chance we get to go to Amelia’s !!
Food and service was excellent. We sat at the bar and watched the cooks prepare the food. Amazing!
Everything was wonderful. Thank you!
