Amedeo's Italian Restaurant
Amedeo’s Italian Restaurant shows that you can get great Italian food in the Kingwood suburb of Houston so you don’t have to fight traffic to go downtown. With the same feel and excellent food and service, you won’t miss out on a thing. For more than two decades, Amedeo’s Italian Restaurant has served up pasta prepared to perfection, top quality meat and seafood and homemade desserts for lunch and dinner, as well as for banquets and catered events.
Notable menu items at Amedeo’s Italian Restaurant include a grilled brie appetizer with a delicate rosemary blackberry sauce and caramelized onions, secret Raffa family recipe lasagna, grilled redfish filet with crabmeat and shrimp and the to-go family packs that feed four complete with salad, dressing and a loaf of uncooked garlic bread.
Great food and great service! Made our anniversary dinner special.
Amedeo's is a jewel in Kingwood. The food is always outstanding, impeccable service, great staff. To show how great they are, my friend was sorry one of her favorite salads was no longer on the menu, the server apologized and said it was taken off the menu but that he would be happy to have it made especially for her--I had him make it for two, because I remembered it as well. How many restaurants would do that for a patron--not many. This is why I go back to Amedeos.
Great little local place. Portions are huge.
Be sure and listen to the specials, the night we visited they had steak tartare and it was very good. The salads can be shared.
This was my first visit. I must say I was highly impressed. The food was excellent, and the portions were large. Service was exceptional, Marsha was spot on with follow-up. My wife and I will definitely be back.
Service was extremely slow, but our waiter was kind and friendly. Steak was not cooked as ordered, otherwise food was good.
Always consistent. Friendly, attentive service and excellent food. Great to have this kind of option close to home.
Always enjoy our visit and meal. It is mine and my husband's date night go to.
Such a sweet special place. I took my niece for her birthday. She had never been and she loved it.
The best on every level
Always the best Italian food in town with a Texas flair and several choices. Had the Redfish Antonio which was perfectly cooked and had shrimp on top. A regular menu item not a special so always available.
Amedeo's never disappoints and we have been going there for 30 years!
Fast clean courteous service. The food is well prepared and the wine selection commendable.
Always good food and service. One of my favorite local restaurants for many years
Excellent food and service and attention to detail
thank goodness there are no TV's in this restauraunt, the customers can have a conversation and not be distracted from their dinner and companions. The service is very attentive and polite and the food quality is just that - quality.
Neighborhood gem. Always excellent food and great service
This is one of my favorite local restaurants. The food and service are always great, and the ambience is very cozy.
Everything was fantastic. Our favorite place to eat
We went for a birthday celebration with friends. The food, as always, was top notch. The service personnel seemed a little frazzled and not as attentive as we’ve normally experienced. Overall, it was a great dinner and a nice experience.
My Veal Picatta was amazing. Panna Cota was great.
Shari was on point.
Great food as always. Was not impressed with waiter. We sat down, figured out what we wanted on the menu and were waiting. Waiter finally arrived, but we had not water. We ordered food Waiter was alright but to many times glass was empty and waited
For refills. We did enjoy the atmosphere and just overal ambience of the restaurant
Amadeo's serves consistently good food. The staff was a little slow even though we were there before the rush hit. Once the rush hit, we rarely saw our server. I tried a new dish this time. If you like your Southwest Rigatoni spicy, I understand you need to ask for it to be served that way. There was no spice to this dish whatsoever, but it was still another consistent meal from a good restaurant.
Another great meal tonight at Amadeo's. Server was very attentive and efficient. Continues to be one of favorites in the Kingwood area.
The food was delicious and beautifully displayed. The waiter was attentive and professional. We’ve never had a bad experience!
Enjoyed our evening very much. I think everyone at our table had a good time.
It was our anniversary. The staff and food were excellent.
The lunch portions are generous and include a salad for a reasonable price. The food is always delicious and the hostesses are very friendly upon entering and leaving the restaurant. This is a great alternative if you are tired of the food at chain restaurants and want to support a local business. I have never had a bad meal here.
This place has been around forever, but it's because of its amazing food and wonderful service.
We had a great evening with friends! The food was excellent and so was the service.
The noise level was just right - we could hear each other talk but didn’t have to worry about the noise level from our table.
Amadeo's is one of our favorite places to celebrate life. Over the Christmas holidays our son from Washington, D.C. was here and we treated him to a lovely evening at Amadeo's. He was impressed with the food and enjoyed the dinner very much.
I do wish our waiter would have told us about the specials...we heard of them from another waiter AFTER we'd ordered. This particular evening we felt the tables that ordered drinks/wine were getting more favorable service...we did not order drinks.
We had 6 adults a 2 kids this evening. We had a new server but he did very well with our group. The food here is always delicious. Always order the special salad of the evening and an order of the oysters. Yes. Ordered the special fish dish and the rest ordered pasta dishes. My wife thinks their lasagna is the best in town and the serving is huge! Dessert? No room. Next time...
Cody was an excellent waiter. The chicken alfredo had dry thick topped white meat that was not cut into smaller pieces or folded in with the cheese sauce. House Chianti was very nice along with hand made expresso martini.
Overall I was very disappointed. This was my first time to eat at the restaurant and I had high hopes. Unfortunately, it went south from the start. I was greeted by who I believe was the owner (not confirmed) who sat us. When I asked that we please get a different table it was VERY obvious he wasn't pleased with my request. Even to the point that he didn't say another word to us. Not even "enjoy your dinner". Terrible body language and very rude.
Next, while our server was very nice and kind she was either new or to busy. I had to get up on two different occasions to ask for help.
Next is the food. The lasagna was actually very good as was the sauce. So two thumbs up for that. The Veal Marsala and the vegetables it came with were less than appetizing. No flavor in the sauce with the veal and the vegetables were still raw when they were served to me.
Now, all that said I have heard really good things about this place over the years so perhaps I was just in the right place at the wrong time as they say. I might have considered going back again but the service from the gentleman who sat us blew any chance of that happening.
I was here for a business lunch. Everything was fresh and delicious! The service was great.
Our favorite restaurant, will come back with friends
Amedeo’s has been our preferred dining restaurant since we moved to Kingwood. Food is excellent, the staff is friendly and well trained. Jazz nights are always fun.
Great food and great service. Staff was friendly and attentive. Special attention from the owner was a pleasant, unexpected surprise.
Fantastic as always. Mickey Hobbs is easy to listen to and makes everyone feel welcome.
Food is always excellent; Love the quiet atmosphere.
Amedeo's never disappoints! We love to come here for special occasions or date night! Staff is great!
