   Worst place ever. Took almost 2hrs to get our food. We almost just walked out. Food quality isn't as great as the website hyped it up to be. Staff is clueless. Thank god we were going to see AC/DC that night to make up for such a terrible experience. Never again.

   We went to Abrosia for Fathers' Day. We started with the calamari, which was cooked perfectly and had good seasoning. For dinner, I had the steak special, which was fantastic. My wife had chicken parmesan, which she said was also very good. The portions were HUGE. Prices are good, but the dinners do not include a salad, which would have been $3. extra. Service was friendly and attentive. We will be going to Ambrosia again.

   I made a reservation online for Father's Day for 1:30p. When we arrived @ 1:15p, we were told the American menu would not be available until 2p!! We ended up waiting as one couple of our group was a little late; so in the end, it worked out. However, my complaint was that NO WHERE on the website or reservation page did it have any notes about the timing of the Am menu availability. If it had, I simply would have made the reservation a bit later. the food was good, and we are glad we went. My complaint is about the lack of communication!!!

   The restaurant reception, bar and dining area had a nice enough ambiance. We were seated quickly by a friendly staff. We ordered an Indian dish and a salad. The salad was okay but the Indian dish was over the top spicy. I just can't say it's the quality a foodie would seek. Wine was a bit pricy. Our server pressured us to settle up so she could leave, which was a little unprofessional. The bar had a live musician.. almost bordering on too loud. But cool bar scene. I don't know that I can recommend Ambrosia based on overall experience and the competition in the area. Plenty of other choices waiting for you.

   I love the diversity of the menu. Everything I've ever had from Ambrosia is very good. I recommend this place for groups as well.

   Our son was able to play it safe with the Italian menu while my husband and I could be a little adventurous with the Indian menu. The calamari appetizer was nice and light and the naan breads (we tried 3) were delicious. The Tikka Masala was outstanding and was just the right amount of spicy. My husband, loved the Masala Fish Fry special, a twist on his usual fish and chips. The Chicken Parm and Masala Fish Fry were large portions but the Tikka Masala was just right. We will definitely go again.
