Ambrosia Bistro & Wine Bar
Ambrosia Bistro was conceived by Scott and Kara Cook to bring a feeling of "downtown" to the Spokane Valley. Located near historic Millwood, our inventive cuisine, great selection of spirits and Northwest wines, as well as our attentive staff are all designed to make your visit to Ambrosia a truly memorable one.
We have seasonal patio dining, a full bar, both booth and table seating, and we are fully handicapped accessible. Our flexible seating allows us to accommodate groups up to 45 people with advanced notice. We also offer off-site catering for groups up to 150.
We ordered calamari as an appetizer, it arrived at our table very quickly. However, the rest of the meal was very, very, slow to arrive. I'm not sure what happened with our order but it took a good 45 minutes to get our meal for a party of 4. I would have given this restaurant a 5 star had it not been for the delay in our meal. The calamari was great and just the right size for 4. Two of us had the salmon, one chicken picatta, and one beet salad with shrimp. We all really enjoyed our meal!!!
Thank you for your review and please accept my apology for the time it took to get your meals. Saturday was the last night of Spokane restaurant week, there were two events downtown, and we were honestly unprepared for the number of people who came in at the same time. I appreciate the kind words and I am glad you enjoyed your meals. We had a meeting on Tuesday to address the situation, and to keep the issues we had from happening again. I do hope you give us another try. Kara Cook Owner
Food was delicious, we all had a different meal (2 couples), everyone really enjoyed the food. The staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t wait long to be seated, order and get our food. It was a little noisy but not enough to keep us from going back.
Difficult to find it in the mini mall location. The sign was 40 feet above the front door and not obvious. They are aware that is a problem.
This is a cute place with a nice wine selection and medium noise level. We had a lovely time, but found the food, while interesting, was quite salty and perhaps overseasoned. Could be the specific dishes we tried, or the particular night, I don't know. We enjoyed the experience, but would want to try a couple of other dishes before we give a solid 'recommend'.
One of the most enjoyable lunches we've had in years! Great food, great Staff, and we would highly recommend this venue.
Great place for an occasion! Great food, wine menu and the staff and service is fantastic:)!!!
Great service and food! Always a great place for a fancy dinner night.
The cod special was outstanding!! Super service. Thanks!
Relaxed atmosphere, exceptional service and fresh delicious food. Highly recommend!
Wayne was awesome as usual!
Soup and salad dinners, early evening during the week - excellent service and food quality. Weird location in strip mall, BUT plenty of free parking. Have eaten there multiple times.
Great wine list, good apps, always a great dinner special and beautiful desserts
The dood is amazing and the service is top notch. We’ve eaten here a number of times and never been disappointed
Bar none Ambrosia Bistro and Wine had everything and more than expected! Big thanks to Jake our professional server who was the icing on the cake--his strong interpersonal attitude complemented the fabulous food. We will be back.
Great service and food.
Ambrosia is the perfect spot for many occasions. Tonight we were introducing dear family to it, and as always a WOW factor! Spokane Valley is very lucky :-)
Our group of ladies all had outstanding dinners & the staff & service was equally as good. We will definitely return to Ambrosia in the future.
Fabulous food, artfully prepared. Wayne was our waiter and did a terrific job (plus, he has a fun personality).
Another great meal at Ambrosia. I am soy intolerant, and the staff marked out everything on the menu with soy. Above and beyond my expectations. Thanks!
Over cooked fish, mediocre chicken
Food was great, so fresh. Service was wonderful
Excellent food and generous servings! We were pleased with the $10 corkage fee for our bottle of wine. I am sure we will be back!
My wife had previously eaten at Ambrosia with friends and recommended that we visit there this weekend. She had the sea bass and she quite favored it while I had the chicken piccata. My entrée was good but not great given that it was not quite as tender as I prefer it. We both had wedge salads and those were excellent. My long island iced tea was very good and better than most other places that offer them. Overall, it was a good dining experience and I would eat at Ambrosia again in the future. The serving sizes were quite generous but when I factor in the good but not great food quality, I do have to say that the cost was a bit higher than perhaps it should have been. We were very pleased with the timely, capable service.
Wonderful atmosphere. Unexpected find in Spokane Valley!
Great place! Pricey but worth it! Exceptional food!
Delicious food, great service, and a good beer and wine selection.
Very nice inside, perfect temperature when we went in. Lovely and knowledgeable staff. The specials were great and everything presented nicely.
