   My fiancée has frequented both Amber and Topaz for some time but this was my first time there. REALLY enjoyed the food, the experience and especially our server. DEFINITELY will go back!

   We enjoyed a great dinner with friends at Amber on the first Friday of Lent. Amber had wonderful seafood specials as well as their awesome whitefish over cous -cous, and salmon with an Asian flare, to choose from. My husband had risotto with lobster and shrimp and he said it was the best risotto he’s ever had! The crispy brussel sprouts with balsamic glaze side dish is unbelievable. I did not want to share it with the others;) We had efficient, friendly service by Sashka making it a great night overall.

   Arrived for dinner on 02/28/2020. Reservation was for 5:30pm. Seated and ordered cocktails for myself and wife. Appetizers were good, the crab cakes(2) and calamari. I had previously looked on line at the entree menu to get an idea of what to order, but the actual menu was different. I ordered the rib eye steak medium well and the wife ordered the shrimp and crab risotto on the waitress recommendation. My rib eye steak in actuality was similar to a skirt steak that was salty. The seasoning was Monterrey Steak Seasoning that was too much. My wife's entree was a like paste,over cooked and bland. After a couple of bites of the skirt steak, didn't eat anymore and the wife just ate the seafood out of her entree. Bojanna, our waitress never asked about our dining or the quality of the food. Overall, the whole dining at Amber Restaurant was one of the worst if not the worst. Definitely,absolutely save your money and find a better place to go.

   The Amber Cafe is always a favorite but our last visit was THE BEST experience we have had in as long as I can remember. Dusko and his entire staff, from the hostess to the bartender to the bus people to the servers were operating as one to ensure the best service you could ask for. The food was fantastic as always, but the icing on the cake was Dusko. He is old school, classic service. This neighborhood gem is the best. Thank you Amber Cafe.

   Great little gem in Westmont. The atmosphere was perfect - a quiet meal for two. We both had the white fish and it was very good. Service was nice as well. Accommodating but not over the top. We will be back.

   Went for valentines dinner. Ordered the mushroom ravioli. Wife had the steak Diane. Both were excellent. The lava cake was perfect also. The price is reasonable for a place like this. Music wasn’t too load. Ambiance was romantic for couples. Not recommended for kids.
