    We went with a group and Ambar was perfect for us. With everyone having different dietary needs and preferences, Ambar made it easy for everyone to try different and delicious flavors from the Balkan. The Ultimate dinner makes the bill very predictable and great for a group.

    What a fun place! The food was terrific and it just kept coming. I was worried that "all you can eat" would mean slow service but it did not. My one complaint was the noise level. It was extremely loud. I do not blame the restaurant for this. They are deservedly very, very popular. One ask - the all-you-can-drink mimosas kept flowing almost too much. We could all have used more water. i left almost TOO tipsy!

    The Shaw location was easily accessible & provided a sophisticated, yet comfortable vibe. The food was phenomenal - we had the mussels, the spread, the grilled shrimp, steak tartare, Brussels, & cauliflower, & would order everything again!

    Had a great time at dinner. We did the unlimited option and the portions were actually pretty good for small plates. The bison lasagna was my fav! Will be back

    I was visiting DC & everyone said I had to visit Ambar. Such a cute spot with great food. My first time tasting Balkan cuisine and I was pleasantly pleased.
