Drinks were made from rail vodka. Waiter/Waitress could have offered an upgrade but we forgot to ask.

We went for the first time on Sunday. We had the all you can eat experience and it was so good! I even ate Brussel sprouts! so yes...go try them out. You will not be disappointed!

Excellent vibe and food. Definitely worth the reservation. Don't waste money on the "All you can eat experience" - you will be satisfied with multiple plates and not reach the cost they charge for the $35/person. Service could be a little more personable and timely.

We did the $35/person Balkan experience and it was amazing! The service was excellent and very helpful in helping to pick items. Cocktails were also very tasty

Safe COVID practices, great food, & wonderful service! I prefer the upstairs dining setup to downstairs but was happy to experience both while still observing social distances

Ambar used to be my favorite for their food and service and I used to talk my daughter and all my friends there at least once a month. That changed this time. We had a reservation for 1:15pm and waited 30 minutes to get our first (drink) order in. A server came over 20 mins later when I was giving my friend directions on the phone, and I was done as she was walking away. I waived a few times after but she didn't come back until 1:45. The small plates buffet is for 2 hours, and she came 3 times in the whole 2 hours. Our order was given to someone else once and we had to ask other servers for bread 3 times. At 3:15, our server said it was the last call for drinks and we had to talk to the manager to get one more drink. We were sitting with an empty glass for most of the time. Also, the brunch menu had no seafood and one chicken item. Protein was so little and vegetables were not tasty. There was no lunch menu to fall back on. Utterly disappointed.

If you’re hungry, the $34 unlimited is a great deal. The food is excellent, but the service is incredibly slow. Staff were polite and helpful but impossible to find. It was very difficult to order, get the check, etc. Highly recommend the eggs Benedict variations, as well as the cinnamon sourdough. The ambience is nice, there are a lot of plants and natural wood, and good light, which was really nice for brunch. Bottom line, if you have all day, go for it. If not, the service is too slow.

I wish the restaurant had flagged that there was a set menu for the evening. We arrived only to find an $85 per person set menu. It was too late to find another location. The food was alright, but still had sticker shock.

This place was great. Me and my boyfriend went for Valentine’s Day. Some of the best food we’ve ever had. Waitstaff was wonderful, and the building was gorgeous. The menu had a set price for vday of $85 but because me and my boyfriend don’t drink they took of $20 for us with out even asking. Very kind, great food, will go again !

Ambar is a spectacular restaurant. Gorgeous ambiance, delicious and unique cuisine, and above all outstanding service.

Their $34 brunch menu was pricey, but it was a great way to try pan-Balkan and Balkan fusion delights in unmatched authenticity. Our waitress was so attentive, I almost felt like I was disappointing her by not ordering more food!

We will be back again, and again, and again!

I love brunch ar Ambar. The food is always delicious and you can't beat the 0.25 drink prices! Our service this last time was the best we've ever had. Usually pretty standard service, but our waitress this last time was awesome. I actually feel like I did not tip her enough because she was great!

SUCH good food for ana amazing price! Something for everyone. Good, strong drinks too! I will definitely be bringing friends from out of town here.

Service could have been better and cocktails were expensive (but albeit high quality and good sized). The value you get for unlimited food is worth it and the food was amazing. Will definitely be dining here again.

Always a pleasure to dine here. The food is excellent and the variety of tastes mean that there’s something for everyone to get excited about. Don’t saddle yourself with a picky eater for a dining companion. You want to bring someone who will taste everything and enjoy the ride though all these small plates.

Bottomless brunch was a great way to try everything on the menu and have a variety of dishes. Loved that we also had a good selection of drinks for the bottomless menu at $0.25 a drink! My friends and I had a great time celebrating my birthday. My only wish is that the food was slightly warmer when delivered. We had good service and overall I was happy with my visit. I would say it's a good deal for the price.

I used to love the food at ambar because all the small plates you could order were cooked to perfection, flavorful, and served at the correct temperature. I raved about how this was my favorite restaurant in Arlington to many people. However, this time it was very disappointing. The food on this menu was very bland, and a lot of dishes were not served warm or hot despite how they should have been. I’m not sure what changed between a few years ago and now, but maybe it just got too popular and they couldn’t get enough food out timely when they doubled the number of tables due to covid closing the basement. This is the first time I’ve been since covid started so I’m really not sure. Overall the food was okay, the service was excellent, but for the price, I’d rather go somewhere else.

Unique flavors and fresh, delicious food.

Went to Ambar for the first time not knowing what to expect to celebrate our anniversary. Had never hear of Balkan Cuisine, much less of Tapas. The experience exceeded our expectations. The food was great, and if you are into those Keto diets, you will feel like you are in paradise. The Moldova Wine was very good and they had on of my favorite local beers. The service was a little confusing since is all "unlimited tapas" for a fixed priced, You need to keep up with what you ordered to know what is what. I will recommend you bring a pen & notepad to track your order :) Overall, it was an excellent experience & I highly recommend it. Looking forward to another visit in the future.

Ambar is one of the best brunches in Arlington. My 3 friends and I absolutely loved the food and drinks and had so much fun! It is super reasonably priced as well for all of the food and drinks included! I would highly recommend!

Server was very attentive and gave great recommendations. He even ordered substitutions for us when the kitchen was out of a particular brunch appetizer. The value of the $34 brunch is amazing, and the food is delicious. The mimosas paired perfectly with the Mediterranean dishes. I will definitely be taking advantage of this deal again and hope to come back soon!!

It was great to see such a a busy day at a local restaurant! We made reservations ahead of time and were seated right away. The brunch experience is the best deal; our party tried every item on the menu! The sweets were my favorite, but everything was delicious.

We decided to try the unlimited small plates option so we were able to sample a lot of the menu. Everything we ordered was beautifully presented and delicious. The service was friendly but a little slow as it was a busy night. The atmosphere was pleasant, but the room was cold. Maybe because there was a lot of traffic in and out to serve people sitting outside. COVID precautions including tables spaced far apart and required temperature checks and face masks helped us feel safe. We’ll definitely be returning!
