Amazing food! I had a Cesar salad with grilled chicken, my son had the kids hotdog with fries. Very good. Atmosphere is wonderful, you can also see the waterfall outside the HUGE window, food was delish. I love how you can watch the chefs cook the food in the kitchen! Thank you for a lovely meal!

The first time we ate there it was great- last night celebrating our 35 anniversary, food looked and tasted terrible, ordered a steak medium/rare, it came WELL WELL done, by the time my steak was redo , now Bloody RARE, my husband had finished his meal. So very disappointed with service ( & disappearing waiter) disappointed in food, and overall unhappy experience. Would no longer recommend

Worst experience in a restaurant to date. Drinks for 5 took 45 minutes to arrive. Main course came before appetizers and they had to take it back. Appetizers were cold when arrived when they were supposed to be hot. Their signature prime rib steak was below average and sides were cold. Food was not good and not prepared on time and appropriately. Will never visit again and would not recommend to anyone I know. The team that runs the restaurant should be embarrassed and would be good candidates for Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant makeover shows.

We had a reservation for Amatista upon the arrival of our flight. It was late - 9:45 and restaurant closed at 10. Food was ok and service was slow. Nothing to write home about. However, I suspect that if we had been earlier and the staff wasn’t trying to close up, our experience would have been better. The burgers weren’t great and the pot pie had very little chicken. The empanadas and salad and vegetable curry were good. For the price point we weren’t impressed but we will give it another shot at an earlier time!

For starters, I arrived 10 minutes early to find a half full restaurant and a 20 minute wait. The 2 hostesses were in conflict with one another and extremely unorganized. Personal issues with each other it appeared. Service was below average. Food was average. Bar drinks were good/ well done. Server was inattentive. Will not return due to hostess attitudes and server inattentiveness.

My colleague and I both have gluten allergies and each have a few additional food issues. There was very little on the menu we could order. Service was extremely slow and the food we did get was ok, but nothing exciting and lacking in the caribbean theme and flavor we wanted to appreciate. The cocktails were the best part of the meal.

Luis was amazing! He made our experience extremely pleasant and he even helped setup our dessert with a little birthday candle for my girlfriend’s birthday. Couldn’t have asked for a better server! The food being amazing, fresh and hot was also a great plus. We’ll be visiting again to try out the rest of the menu.

We stayed at the Lowes Sapphire resort and visited this restaurant inside the resort. However, we were very disappointed. The food was not good. My daughter wanted the whole fried fish and it was so crunchy hard that she couldn’t eat it. The fish was served with arroz con gandules that was undercooked and no seasoning at all! My other daughter had pasta from the kid’s menu and she said it tasted like it had pizza sauce instead of marinara sauce. My husband and I had the salmon which was good but it was placed on a mountain of yellow rice that was bland and it tasted horrible!! I am so sad we had such a terrible experience, it was my daughter’s birthday :(

The atmosphere is nice and in the hotel which on a travel day is a bonus. That said it’s overpriced and average for quality of food. Our $38 whole fish was unexpectedly fried and stuffed with flour. The staffing is great.

We had just arrived at the hotel and were ready to have a nice dinner we had reservations and when we checked in a little early the hostess seemed a bit put off then we couldn't remember our room number and her attitude changed to annoyed. She asked if we would like a window table and we said absolutely, lol well we were stuck between the xmas tree and a huge cement pillar for the window view! Will not be going back.

Absolutely delicious menu and warm and inviting ambience. Staff is very attentive and helpful. Food portions are sizeable enough and good value for money. It was a little more noisy than I expected, but that was probably because people were just enjoying the atmosphere there. Absolutely will go back and highly recommend this restaurant as a place to eat to anyone not just staying in the hotel, but anyone else close by. Take a short boat ride from City Walk if you have to. It'll be worth it.

It is a nice quiet hotel restaurant with great potential, but the food itself and the drinks are worth the price leaving little to be imagined and much to be disappointed. Serving staff was friendly and the table ware and setting were nice.
