K Johnson was great she was polite and help us even with me being picky. She gave me suggestions and always check on us.
Amazing staff. We were celebrating a birthday and they brought balloons to the table!! Food was great too
The quality of the food was good
We had breakfast brunch smorgasbord, the temperature of the food was good. They even accommodated special dietary restrictions.
Worth the money for both adults and children.
Parents & kids enjoyed
Our server went above and beyond for our Anniversary and brought us champagne and balloons and chocolate!
Extremely slow service. Also we had a reservation and were seated well past the time. Tons of empty tables and overworked wait staff.
Good food, good ambiance
I liked very much and the whole experience
We had a nice buffet and entertainment for the kids at New Year’s Eve
We had their NYE dinner buffet. Food was good. Only thing was if you didn’t like seafood, which we don’t there weren’ttoo many options. There was ALOT of seafood. Entertainment for the kids was great, characters, balloon animal artists and face painting. Price was expensive but that’s expected for NYE.
It must have been an off night. Seated promptly but took over ten minutes for waitress to acknowledge our family of 5. Manager came over on his own accord and apologized and offer two complimentary appetizers but they never came. Food came but fish sandwiches were missing condiments and waitress was a ghost. Had to ask for water and then ice, she brought one glass, then we had to ask again for the rest of us. Manager stopped by and apologized for no shown appetizers and brought us 4 desserts. Waitress brought dessert plates after we were done. Manager was very apologetic and gave a 50% discount. The manager was very pleasant and embarrassed. Overall Food was ok but pricey.
Restaurant in site of hotel we stayed at. It was convenient and food was great. Clean and inviting decor. Friendly and professional staff.
Outstanding!!!. Great food, wonderful friendly service, and clean wonderful ambiance. Will def come back here to eat again.
Drinks were good. Appetizers good. Steak tough. Chicken pot pie horrible no jerk flavor. Tacos had chewy beef.
Desserts chocolate cake dry and the dark chocolate tasted old. Flan. So ahhhhh
Second time there this was worse than first but wanted to try.
Won’t be a third
This was our 12th anniversary dinner. I would recommend the cookhouse, to anyone. The service was excellent, the prix fix menu was well balanced. Our cocktails were well made. Servers were very knowledgeable and friendly, and attentive.
We loved this restaurant! All of the food was terrific and the service was phenomenal! Their rotisserie chicken was delicious and their chicken soup was the best I have ever had! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!
Service from Leandro was exceptional. Appetisers were excellent, timing off slightly for entrees.......but overall a lovely experience having dinner with friends.
Will look forward to eating here again in March.
Tasty but overpriced food. Friendly service but slow.
We had a lovely dinner, server was very attentive food was good not great. The appetizers were good but the entrees were lacking in flavor. 2 mornings latter we decided to go back for breakfast. Total disappointment. There were few patrons at the restaurant we ordered breakfast, the waiter kept saying a few more minutes, after 30 minutes I spoke to the manager, our food showed up. It was cold. We were not happy so they didn't ask us to pay for our meal. but we will be going back there again.
Enjoyed dinner for two celebrating my husbands birthday before attending Blue Man Group. Lovely setting, delicious food and friendly staff. Caribbean style cooking and freshly prepared dishes. Thoroughly enjoyable evening!
The wait staff is excellent. If he's there...ask for Adam's section...super nice and professional and excellent server! The multiple times we ate here our experience was it takes FOREVER for the kitchen to get the food out. This is not a quick experience. If you need to get in and out in a reasonable amount of time, ditch ordering off the menu to save money and do the buffet. Also we had one lunch where the kitchen either delivered something different than what the menu said or they forgot ingredients in the dish.
Absolutely terrible service. Our appetizers did not come till after our meals came out and our wine did not show up till the end of the meal. Stay away from this one.
The dinner was excellent...
My wife and I dined here for our Thanksgiving dinner. The food, the service from our waitress, and overall look of the restaurant were perfect. The meal had everything we could have wanted out of a Thanksgiving meal and our waitress took excellent care of us. Our only complaint is the way we were treated by the characters and the staff working with them. Part of what you pay for is character interactions and we are completely ignored. We figure it was due to our lack of children, but we really wanted a few fun photo ops. My wife even approached a character handler for a photo but she was told they were too busy to accommodate us. It completely ruined our happy disposition .
We really enjoyed our thanksgiving evening. The food was great; lots of options. The characters, face painting (amazing!!) and balloon art was perfect for the kids. Staff was very welcoming.
Amazing Thanksgiving dinner, highly recommend it. This is our 2nd time @ Universal and we were eagerly anticipating the breakfast buffet. After we were here when the Sapphire first opened back in 2016. Hands down the best Breakfast @ universal hotels Period!! We also love the Empanadas as a mid night snack. Keep up the good work. We have made plans for Universal trip for Labor day 2019. And a must on our list, now a Family Tradition is breakfast @ Amatista!!!!
Our waiter, Lenny was awesome and the Thanksgiving buffet had a great variety. Still craving the sweet potatoes and cream brule.
We were disappointed in the Thanksgiving Brunch and only to find very few vegetarian options. We paid full adult price ($65 plus mimosas extra $15) for two people in our party who ended up not eating much at all. The meat eaters complained that the tenderloin was very tough and dry. The dessert table was plentiful. Our server came by very sparingly and left us without water on several occasions. The characters (Gru, minions, Scooby-Doo) came around often and were very interactive with both the kids and the adults. All in all, it was a convenient option, but wouldn't do it again.
I was truly disapointed in the very bland Thanksgiving Buffet. Most of the food was very bland. There was no ham. The food did not represent the Caribbean at all. For $60.00 per person I personally felt ripped off for what I paid. Also the 48.00 for parking for only 1 hour is a huge rip-off. I will not return nor would I recommend.
We visited Amatista for breakfast during our stay at Sapphire Falls. We ordered from the menu as opposed to the buffet. The prices were lower than I expected. The portions were huge!!! Our waitress Natasha was amazing and I appreciated the effort she made to refer to us by our names. Overall very pleased.
Great buffet selection and the hot food was hot and the cold food was cold. Besides the normal breakfast food of bacon, eggs, sausage, potatoes, they had an omelette station and they had cinnamon rolls and other breads.
Wife’s birthday. We got sat and servers kept walking by us. No one ever came to take our order. I went to get a manager to find out if we were going to be served. Will not be back again too many other choices in Orlando to deal with bad service or in this case no service at all
Great food at a great price. Definitely family friendly menu and a decent wine list. Love that they have a water taxi over to city walk and the service was beyond exemplary.
Food was pretty good but the service .. oh dear. Please don’t go to this restaurant if you want to linger over your meal. We sat down for 1 minute and the server asked “ can I get your drink order and your food order? No.. let’s start with drinks . Ordered a vodka martini .. she brought me a gin martini then asked as she brought the drinks.. are you ready to order NOW? No.. not yet and it went down from there. Food was good.. tasty even .. high ceilings make this a loud environment but that’s not so bad.. would have been solid with different service
We went as a family for our last night in Universal and we all have different diets and taste preferences. No one was disappointed by the selection and the food and service was great. We would definitely return.
Service was great as well as the food! Had to wait about 40 minutes to get our check.
Staff is very friendly and attentive. Jimmy was especially amazing. I've visited a few times over my trip and I've received a warm welcome back each time. Food was timely and delicious.
Customer service was excellent especially our server Francesa.
So much better than Park Food. You won't find a better meal in City Walk. Stay at the hotel.
Nice hotel, nice variety of food and very good service.
Great find in a hotel! Beat the crowds after the park. Service was terrific.
