Good food; convenient. Service was acceptable but a little slow. The cheese rolls were very dry. So, not perfect but very good overall.
Food was cold. Sent steak back along with cold vegetable. When brought back after complaining. Still cold vegetable and steak was not good. Other people in the party of 4 had issues too. Cold vegetable and pork chop was lukewarm. Stayed in the Resort. Not planning on staying their again. Because of poor food quality at restaurant.
The perfect meal for Thanksgiving. The wife and I spent our first day of vacation eating here and were an amazed at how delicious everything on the buffet was, especially all of the fresh seafood.
Love Amatista for our Special occasion buffets. Nice ambiance, you don’t have to get super dressed up, and the food is on point. They also have great bottomless drink specials. Our waiter was amazing! We missed it last year being closed due to Covid. So glad it’s back!
Choice of food and quality were both excellent. Service was as always wonderful and a perfect thanksgiving meal.
Fantastic Thanksgiving buffet. Server Kris was great. A little pricey but a lot of pricey offerings were served including crab, oysters, shrimp, mussels and ceviche. Also traditional standards and charcuterie. We're Keto but there were lots of desserts if you're into that.
The service at Amitista’s was good, however the food was much less desirable. I had ordered the Seafood Paella. The sausage in the recipe seemed as though it was NOT recently cooked. My guess is that it was day old sausage the was reheated. The sausage was tough and lacked favor. The shrimp was cooked well. The rice was very dry and also lacked flavor. Overall the dish was the worst paella entree I have ever had. And considering the cost it was certainly NOT worth it.
Birthday and Family and Friends get together
Everyone really enjoyed everything! Food was amazing! Ambiance was beautiful! Spacious eating area. Gorgeous views at night! Vegan tacos and vegan chicken curry was slamming! Perfect night! Thank you
The ambiance and staff were outstanding. They went above and beyond to correct an error with our order, and we really appreciated that extra work to make things right. The food was tasty and there was enough of my entree to fill me up before my plate was empty. A must at that price point! I recommend it.
The food was excellent, the host staff was very kind. Most of the tables were empty so the noise level was pretty good. Our server disappeared for over 20 minutes once so we decided to get the check once he reappeared and get more drinks/dessert elsewhere. Overall, would recommend for a nice dinner.
Service and food was exceptional.
Situated in a beautiful new hotel, the restaurant has a sleek modern design with an open kitchen and walls of glass overlooking the water. The rotisserie chicken with plantains and yucca was outstanding. The burgers were very good, and the children’s menu had traditional kid favorites. We will come again.
Atmosphere is very inviting. Staff is very warm and welcoming. Food is excellent!
Serve a course - clear a course - do not left multiple courses on table. Food was ok - sous vide pork - not best - everything else is good - cocktails where excellent
The food and service was amazing!! You just trip the shrimp tostada salad and the grapefruit rose Paloma
Food and service were fantastic. Our waitress Nikka was fantastic.
Great atmosphere. Beautiful place. Service was amazing.
Customer service was outstanding!!
Potatoes were awful
Jerk chicken pot pie!!! Paella and Queso Fundido! Delicious food, amazing service. 10/10 would do again
The server was great except she was also bartending at the same time. We waited 45 mins for the food arrive; had I not say anything to the other server it would’ve probably taken longer.
Great experience. Good food and fantastic service.
Poor selection of food.
Food was poorly cooked and meats were Luke warm.
Air conditioning was set too low
It wasn’t the best experience I’ve ever had with friend. Food was only okay, and for the price, the portions were very small. Service wasn’t great either. We would order one drink, and she would walk away before we could complete the order for the table. Probably won’t be going back, the entire experience left me wanting.
Wait staff was friendly and very professional and the food was absolutely delicious
A great place to eat and unwind after a long, hectic and noisy day in the park
what I look for in any restaurant is
Amatista is excellent in all three!
The food and service were excellent. We enjoyed our meal.
The vegan options did not disappoint! So happy with the many vegan options to choose from and the staff’s willingness to accommodate me.
Ordered the paella last night. On the menu it said it was gluten, dairy, and nut free. I figured it would be safe and the staff even asked us about food allergies. The food came to the table and about five minutes later, waiter showed up and asked me if I already started eating it. It’s already been about five minutes so of course I started eating it. And he tells me that there is gluten in it and they need to take it back. They bring me a new one and manager took it off the bill. I feel as though the manager handled it well but something like this should never happen.
At 3 AM I woke up with a mouth full of stomach acid and had to go sit on the couch for an hour because it was too uncomfortable to stay in bed. My esophagus is irritated right now and my stomach feels highly acidic and gross. I will live but it’s definitely an inconvenience and it sucks. Meanwhile, there are people that if they get exposed to a certain food they need an EpiPen. Food allergies need to be taken seriously and I don’t think that that is something where there is room for error especially when the menu clearly says that this meal is gluten-free and the chef decided to change something without letting the manager know. That was the explanation that they gave us. It’s not acceptable.
Good service, French fries served cold, good chicken with tasty mojito sauce. Other food items were acceptable.
My experience at Amatista Cookhouse was amazing! We dined to celebrate my Aunt's birthday and we were all impressed with the ambiance, customer service, and food choices.
We originally went for magical dinning; however, our appointment was at 2pm and magical dinning is after 5pm. Our table had an phenomenal server (Chris Evans) who did a great job explaining the menu and had great suggestions on eating options. Chris was kind to offer to take group photos of our party. The restaurant has a great view and amazing scenery. We will definitely dine here again.
Food was good but service slow. Staff seemed overwhelmed, but restaurant wasn’t too full. Parking validated, but access to and from hotel was busy with tourists which is discouraging for local visitors
The special (Orlando Magic) gave several choices of appetizers, entrees, and desserts that were almost the full price and in the case of the steak less than that of the entrees by themselves. The chicken was good, but the sides were awesome (yucca and plantains are the way to go). The steak was a thing cut of ribeye but well cooked and seasoned. The mashed potatoes and mushrooms were very good as it’s sides. The broccolini was undercooked as is the norm for any restaurant these days. We forgot to ask that it be well cooked as is our norm.
We did not like the Chicken empanadas and did not eat them after one bit!
Told server and he didn’t seem to care also ask for a to go bag to put our left overs in and he never came back!
Visited for Magical Dining Month and the food was outstanding. Nice atmosphere and great wait staff. Highly recommend.
Relaxing environment with good service and excellent food.
The food was great and the service was even better. Our server Luis went above and beyond to make my son feel special for his bday dinner. We eat here every visit to the hotel and appreciate them every time.
This was a nice dinner at a decent restaurant. Overall experience 3/5 stars.
I will return and try something different next time.
Although we had our Open Table reservation, we were sent to cool our heels for about 15 minutes while walk-ins that arrived after us were seated first. Not really sure why, but it did seem the manager noticed because once he approached the podium and spoke to the host, we were sat and he apologized to us for the wait. Honestly, it was fine and we certainly were not put off by it too much, but it did seem a bit disorganized at the host desk.
Our server was knowledgeable and friendly and we could not ask for better. We greatly enjoyed our service.
The drinks were well made and enjoyable, and they were not skimpy on the alcohol.
Appetizers arrived fast and were delicious, but unfortunately we had barely gotten into our starters when the entrees showed up. I'm never one to send something back to the kitchen, so we just made room on the table and kind of went back and forth eating the rest of the apps and the entrees. Again, the entrees were well prepared and quite tasty. One disappointment to me was the sauces provided with my entree were all mayonnaise-based. Again - that's just me, but it left me unable to enjoy those sauces at all, but the entree stood well on its own, so that was good.
Deserts were tasty, and our table was cleared by another very nice server while our server assisted us with the check. Again, service really stood out.
The dining room was high-ceilinged with lots of hard surfaces, so it made for a noisy dinner, but we could hear each other so that's all that mattered. Some soft music and acoustic panels would make a huge difference.
Overall, an enjoyable experience and we will definitely give it another try in the future.
