The service was great, food was just ok. We tried many items in the menu and didn’t find any to be worth ordering ever again. Nice decor and is decebt for a hotel restaurant.
The food was delicious and the service was outstanding!
Had another delicious meal and dining experience at Amatista, so far the best Universal Resort restaurant there is. I’ve been to others and they don’t really compare to Amatista. The food is delicious, fresh, and portions are more than enough. The price is also at an average for a resort, but it won’t break the bank. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting, the decor is really great as well. Overall, best place to eat at Universal Orlando.
Awesome breakfast, great service, atmosphere was very inviting. Enjoyed the meal with my family very much.
Very good waiter. We were there before it got really busy
Outstanding food, service and atmosphere. We will recommend the restaurant to our family and friends.
Great atmosphere, awesome food, standout service and overall beautiful experience.
Francheska was an amazing server!
This is my go to place for a fabulous breakfast.
The service and food are the best in Orlando !
Great quiet ambiance, delicious food. And great, friendly service
Lovely place for lunch
Just average :( While hoping for the best, we left with the "typical amusement park hotel restaurant" feeling. Nothing to "wow" you. We even ordered a cake for our son's birthday in advance and while the presentation was very good, the cake was barely palatable. We wanted Amatista to be better and even tried again for breakfast but no joy.
Now - dine at the Strongwater Tavern upstairs and you will definitely know you are at a Lowes Resort. Great experince. The next night we took the boat to the Portofino and dined at Bice'. Absolutely perfect!
Great food and amazing service
Our server was very attentive and just excellent.
My Hubby and I absolutely love the breakfast buffet at Amatista Cookhouse! It is one of the reasons we like to stay at Sapphire Falls when we are in Orlando! While the brunch has many, many items, the highlights for us are the lox, fresh fruit, yogurt (with many "toppings"), scrambled eggs, made to order omelettes, and the large table of pastries! There is also juices, cereals, bacon, sausage, gravy, grits, pancakes, french toast, waffles, etc. They coffee is great and the staff keeps it coming hot and fresh! The staff is absolutely wonderful and always in a good mood and the atmosphere is wonderful and relaxing! I highly recommend Amatista Cookhouse!
The food was mediocre at best. As far as a breakfast buffet goes it was at the bottom of my list. Way too expensive for such limited offerings.
The food was great. My kids especially loved their meals. They were a great value. They got a beautiful bowl of fruit and a mixed fruit drink as part of their meal. Best kids meal we had the entire trip. I had the street tacos as a meal and that was the perfect amount. So many flavors fused into one meal. The empanadas were great too.
Food was good but the kitchen a bit over eager with the main course arriving just after the appetizers. The guy was trying to find space to fit it all until I suggested he take it back until we had chance to finish our appetizer.
I feel bad even writing this, but our dinner with 7 was a fiasco. We had a reservation and were seated on time. Our appetizer order was incorrect. No big deal, we are it anyway. One of the guests never was asked what he would like to drink. The worst part was three dinner orders were completely incorrect. They offered to get new orders but at that point in time, we had been there for almost an hour and a half and were ready to go. They gave a 15% discount but unfortunately it didn't seem enough to make it right. So disorganized and it wasn't terribly busy.
I really enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant. My waiter was attentive and fun! And most of all the food was delicious 😋
Great breakfast with excellent food and very good service.
After eating here for the first time I came back two days later to try the flatbread pizza and it was wonderful, everything was good on the menu. The kids meals are so much that I ordered only one chicken quesadilla and my 2yr old twins split it with food left over. I’m definitely returning.
Food was delicious and the breakfast buffet had a good variety of items. I LOVE coffee but theirs was so strong it was undrinkable, at least to my taste. Servers were friendly but slow to refill beverages and when paying the check it seemed to take forever. Not sure why it took so long to process payments but it took WAY too long. We enjoyed the visits from Gru and Kevin.
Francheska was excellent! She was extremely personable and we loved her recommendations.
Excellent service, good food
Very few people there at what i would consider a usually busy time. Food was bland and mediocre. Atmosphere, while intended to be Caribbean, was nondescript. Price for a meager meal was overblown for what you received.
My mother and I dined here during our vacation to universal. We stayed at another hotel but wanted to try this place after seeing the menu online. The wings were excellent. The jerk chicken pot pie was incredible as well. Very beautiful place and good service. The only downside was a large group behind us with two screaming kids. Probably around age 3-5. Their parents barely tried to quiet them and my head was pounding from a headache earlier. Not the restaurants fault obviously but it was a little annoying.
Food was very fresh and service was amazing!
We had a reservation for 10am breakfast. We were seated promptly on the patio but then waited 10 minutes for our server to come and bring coffee. Even though we had asked for cream it took another 10 minutes to get that and water. Our water was never refilled. We ordered Eggs Benedict and an Omelet @ 10: 15am which arrived @ 10:45am. The Eggs Benedict was served with hardboiled, not poached eggs. The omelet was overcooked until it was brown on the outside and both dishes were luke warm and had sat under a heat lamp for a long, long, long time. When this was brought to the attention of the restaurant manager he did not understand what the issue was! He had no concept that Eggs Benedict are supposed to be served with poached eggs. We had to call the chef out and explain to him why the breakfast was inedible. It was a disappointing end to a lackluster experience at the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort.
We were surpised by this hotel restaurant. Had cool mix of flavors and plates. The rice & beans were a little dry but the platanos were delicious.
Chef made sure that we were set with Gluten free options.
Conch Chowder was great.
Our favorite breakfast buffet in Orlando! The atmosphere is a perfect, relaxed, upscale, island feel. . .you feel like you can sit and eat breakfast, talk, and drink your coffee without a care in the world for as long as you like! We usually don't choose buffets but this one is the exception! The buffet includes lox, yogurt, many different kinds of fruit and berries, scrambled eggs, bagels, bacon, sausage, home fries, pancakes, waffles, biscuits, gravy, grits, warm pastries, and a separate table of danish, croissant, donuts, breads, etc as well as an omelette stations and cereal, juice, coffee, milk. We always feel relaxed and happy while eating here as the food, atmosphere and staff are wonderful and we leave feeling relaxed and full! I Definitely recommend Amatista on your next visit to Orlando!
Have to say that overall the food at Sapphire Falls wasn’t anything to write home about. Service was great throughout but food not all that .
If you are staying at the hotel, this place is a fine option for a meal. The restaurant looks lovely and the staff was very friendly. However, the food is comparable to what you'd find at The Cheesecake Factory - our dinner portions were huge and our paella was way over-salted. On the plus side, they were very accommodating about splitting dishes. We did not return since there are other options in the hotel and surrounding area.
Went for Easter brunch made reservation for 4:30. I got there at 4:25 food look great but the meat was cold and had to eat in a rush since I didn't realized brunch is over at 5pm.
Excellent restaurant. Fairly priced, quick service and great food.
Adam our server was great. The food was very tasty
This is my new favorite restaurant at Universal Orlando Hollywood. Nice wine list. The most unique pot pie I’ve ever tasted and best salad I’ve had in awhile.
Great food. Great service. I would recommend this restaurant to visitors and locals.
Sasa was great!
