This was our second visit specifically for brunch. We have enjoyed lunch and dinner a number of times. The brunch menu, so far, is outstanding. A mirror above the pickup counter allows you to see delicious looking dishes before they are delivered. Looking forward to trying them all. Thank to the attentive staff.
Great food, consistent each time. Nice lively environment.
I enjoyed going to this restaurant and when my friends ask me where I want to go I choose this place because of the food service and atmosphere
Food cooked to perfection and an attentive but not in your face wait staff; what's not to like? I had the salmon, my husband had the steak and my daughter had the butternut ravioli and we all shared bites off of each other's plate. The salmon was perfect - tender, moist with a crispy skin on top of a bed of lemon risotto. Each morsel was a flavor sensation; perfectly paired compliment in every bite. Their tiramisu is to die for. We will definitely make Amaro Bistro one of our go to restaurants. I'm looking forward to each return dinner so I can work my way through their menu one plate at a time.
Delicious! We loved the cioppino and the mussels! Very friendly service.
Love this restaurant! The food is always so good and the service is very attentive and friendly!
Excellent as usual!
First time dining and we will definitely be back! Our server, Sherman was incredible and absolutely lovely. The food was so delicious and they have a fantastic drink list. It’s hard to find wonderful restaurants out of Seattle and we are thrilled to have found this place!
Delicious pesto pizza and tiramisu!
I have been to Amaro many times since they opened and have always been impressed with the food and the ambiance. I have had Tiffany as my wait person in more recent visits and have to say she should win a prize for her customer service attitude and style. She is very personable, attentive, and makes you feel like you've come home. I have never been disappointed in what I've ordered and when I bring friends the swoon also! In face, at my visit for Sunday brunch my friend are planning when we can come back. SO glad there is a restaurant of this caliber in Bothell.
The food , especially THE best lasagna I've ever had, and the service (Thanks Zach) were truly exceptional. There aren't enough stars available for this review. WE'LL BE BACK!
Great service. Delicious food!!
Nice place, excellent menu, friendly staff! Easy free parking!
Although a bit loud inside, as this is a small and very popular place, it was truly worth it. Very authentic Italian food, a wide range of dishes to choose from, and amazing service. Between the food runners, busboys, waiters, we never went without what we needed. The service alone was worth coming here, but the food was really amazing. It can seem a bit pricey to some, but well worth the expense. You can trust you will get a dish chock full of fresh ingredients and the portions are plenty to eat and take home! Will come back!
Here for a Saturday night date with my wife. We were seated right away at a nice table and approached immediately by an excellent waitperson who provided fine service. Lots of great choices on the wine list. We both ordered a Caesar that was fresh, crisp and tasty and linguine da mare that was substantial and delicious. No room for dessert, too bad! Everything was excellent, not often that I can say that. We are eager to return.
Server Hailey was amazing!
It was the wonderful service and the marscapone lemon cheesecake that would bring me back. In that order!
Food was on point beginning with brussel sprouts and main courses of pork chop and filet. Worth it!
Over all experience is 5⭐️
I’ll come again
Outstanding meal, and service couldn’t of been better. Definitely will be back.
Usually excellent service and food was not quite up to par this time. Gluten-free pizza crust was still cold and unbaked at the center and that disappointed!
Server gave one of us the wrong pizza; it was comped, but they had to wait quite a while for the correct pizza order to arrive.
When one of us asked for club soda without ice, it took a long time to arrive as well . . .
Our drinks were good in spite of the club soda issue, the eventual pizza was delicious, and our appetizer was very good.
My wife and I went to Amaro for our wedding anniversary. We got there a few minutes early and they let us know our table wasn’t quite ready, and offered to let us sit elsewhere if we preferred, but they let us know they had a special table set aside for us. We chose to wait, and it really was a great table near the window.
This is our second time here and each time the staff has been super friendly and accommodating. The food was excellent, the ambiance was perfect, and we had an amazing night to celebrate 13 years together.
Thank you Amaro Bistro for helping us to celebrate in style!
Food apparently too salty and spicer for guest
I love coming here. Excellent service and delicious food.!
Always great service, friendly staff. Food is consistently very good, very flavorful. A bit on the pricey side but a good spoil yourself or date night.
Wonderful food and desserts. Love the Sunday brunch. Excellent service every time I've been here. The only wish I have is that the bread was rustic and hearty and not a plain baguette.
The food was amazingly delicious. My only complaint would be that parking is limited.
Excellent, as always, although the bread seems to not be quite as good. Have you changed bakeries? I'd recommend Pane Amore in Port Townsend and Bainbridge Island.
We will definitely return and recommend Amoro whole heartedly.
We were here for our anniversary. We were seated right away and liked our location. Our waitress was prompt and attentive. We started with a glass of prosecco (goof) and a Negroni (very good), then proceeded to the appetizer menu. We shared the arancini, which are bland cheesy risotto balls in a flavorful tomato sauce. Meh.
We then skipped over the salads and went directly to the entrees. She had the squash ravioli with mushrooms, which was pronounced "most excellent pasta outside of Italy itself!" I partook of the ciopinno, which was a generous bowl of mixed seafood ( huge crablegs, several mussels, several small clams, and abundant small calamari, plus chunks of white fish) in a very flavorful tomato base. This was the best version of this I have had besides a similar dish in Venice, Italy, my touchstone for Italian food.
Despite the size of the portions, along with bread to soak up the sauces, we elected to have dessert. The Torta Marscapone was a delicious lemony cheesecake with a delightful texture. The Affogato di gelato was creamy vanilla gelato with a generous dose of expresso poured over the top at table.
Since it was our anniversary the management gave us the desserts on the house!
We will definitely come here again, but get a salad next time.
Great Italian food but don't be afraid of the Steak it is delicious!
every pasta I have had there is excellent, especially the Lasagna light but filling.
Decent wine list with some good valued Italian wines.
Fun place to go with Friends.
Sommelier Approved for sure.
Super service and excellent food.
Excellent approach to seafood, first class waitstaff.
Excellent food as always! Second time having the scallop special which is so delicious. The Cioppino is one of our go to dishes which is consistently good. Our friend thoroughly enjoyed the Risotto special.
We frequent Amaro and traditionally have excellent and speedy service. Today's service was much slower than normal, but thankfully we weren't in a hurry. We were surprised by the initial delays, but things seemed to smooth themselves out as the evening went on.
One of the best pancakes I ever had. Food is great, service is great as well.
Amaro Bistro is good every time we go. Their service is top notch, they have good cocktails/wine/ beer/amaro's selection and their food is excellent. We have ordered a lot of different dishes and everything is tasty. I tend to try to go with one of their house made pasta dishes since fresh pasta is so good and if you are very hungry or want lunch leftovers for the next day, go for the lasagna. They also have an Italian cheesecake that is really good if you happened to have left any room for dessert.
Tortellini was undercooked, cannelloni was good. Service was slow and we had fruit flies buzzing around our heads the entire dinner. Nice wine selection.
Ordered the Salmon "rare" and it was cooked perfectly and delicious!!
We went on a Thursday night right as dinner service started. The service was absolutely spot on from start to finish. We had the caprese to start and it was fresh and simple and wonderful. My partner had the tortellini and the sauce was absolutely a delightful bundle of flavor and the pasta was fresh. I had the filet -- the gorgonzola crust was delicious but I'm not sure it worked with the steak, and the steak was slightly overcooked which is too bad because otherwise everything else was delicious. All in all it was a great night and we will come back again!
Zach our server was great!
