Really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. The restaurant is located in a newer part of Bothell and finding parking can be a little challenging.
As always excellent food, service and atmosphere. Been here a dozen times or more and have never been disappointed.
From water dripping down my back and staff saying oh that happens to very mediocre risotto, didn’t make for a very nice Valentines dinner
One of my favorite Italian restaurants.
They added extra surcharge to your bill because restaurant is not paying the worker enough, this is getting bit ridiculous..It is restaurant responsibility to pay their workers, not the customer... Need to reconsider going to this place.
Birthday dinner with all the fixings Champagne wine steak to die for and there monk fish, service was spot on thank you we will be back
Snowy evening and great food made for a nice experience.
They food and service was wonderful. We will be back. The restaurant be us loud when it's packed like it was tonight.
I like to try out different restaurants and Amaro is amazing! I will definitely come back for excellent Italian.
Food was mediocre. I had the squash ravioli which was overpowered by hazelnuts. The cheese cake was way too lemony.
We have been regulars since the day they opened. Recent changes in the kitchen staff is have a negative effect on the quality and consistency of the food. This is the second time in a row it was sup par
The lasagna had by one our party is only one of two lasagnas she likes and she loves this one . Myself and her son each had filet mignon and then split a gluten free pizza for dessert. Both were excellent and the chief cooked the pizza perfectly as it was a nice crispy crust not a soggy one I get elsewhere.
Love Amaro. Our neighborhood go to place. Our friends from Seattle love it!!
Great food and service. Nice ambiance, very relaxing. The pastas are fabulous.
Great food and service. Parking is a challenge on the weekend b
Italian done well, great service and good price. We keep going back.
Waiter was awesome and the food was marvelous!
Great fare. Close to Italy flavors and experience, down to wine being served in liters.
Had a great experience at this Italian restaurant in our hometown that we've been wanting to try. Service was great, and it was hopping with people, so word has definitely got out. Both my husband and I loved our entrees--both off the fresh list. Received our food really quickly. We will definitely try again, but probably wouldn't pop in with a bigger group, because there isn't alot of seating.
Amaro has excellent food, the service was excellent only complaint is the noise level.
As always, absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Bolognese!
We routinely visit Amaro. It is always outstanding. The food is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Try it, you will like it.
First time coming for brunch; we have been here for many dinners and happy hours. The food was good and they have a variety of options. We were surprised to see a surcharge added to our bill since we have never had that appear on our bill here before; this must be a new expense they are passing along. We would have liked to have seen a prominently placed notice letting us know prior to eating...or making a reservation. It’s not something we like to be surprised with, regardless of the amount.
Over pretentious. Sauces too rich. Waiter overzealous. Acceptable but not authentic Italian
Always amazing food and an excellent wine list. The best lasagne I’ve ever had.
Our favorite restaurant in Bothell. Great food and service.
Service was great. Food was almost great, but menu was oddly limited. Great wine. A little noisy especially considering that we were there after the peak dinner hours on a weeknight. Prices were appropriate.
We've dined here several times, including Easter brunch. They have a great HH, lunch, brunch, dinner - they check all the boxes for a great local, nicer eatery.
Nice place! Good food, great service. Been there 3 times in two weeks
I really wanted to like it. The servers were all in black, there are linen napkins, the menu looked great. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. My pork chop was so tough! The accompaniment was lackluster. My husband'sToo bad, I'm still searching for a great place to eat in Bothell.
Our food and service were outstanding. Parking was convenient on the street or nearby parking garage. The only downside was the noisy atmosphere. It had industrial type ceilings and hard flooring so it was difficult to hear casual dinner conversation.
I've been here with various people many, many times. Not once have I been disappointed with any aspect of this eatery.
My personal favorite the gnocchi, almost floats off the plate before you have an opportunity to eat it.
They did not have our Open Table Reservation and did not have an available restaurant table. They found us a table in the bar and comped us our first round of drinks. The waiter was overenthusiastic otherwise the service was pretty good. The food was quite good as was the wine. I will go back.
My mom is visiting from out of town, and we wanted a nice, relaxing, delicious dinner out, and Amaro definitely provided that. It has an excellent wine selection, and the food was perfect. We started with the chapters and arancini- the arancini was crispy in the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. The cheese melted out of the ball as soon as my fork cut into it. Upon the recommendation of our waiter (friendly, vibrant and personable), I ordered the lasagna and my mom ordered the cannelloni. Both dishes were cheesy, meaty and well seasoned, but my lasagna was probably the better of the two. It was probably the best lasagna I’ve ever had, and so huge. We finished the meal by splitting a tiramisu, and it was like eating a coffee flavored cloud- perfectly light with well defined layers, and I could see (and taste) how well soaked in espresso the lady fingers were. I give Amaro all the stars!
Very Nice visit to the Cafe upstairs.
Fine dining is downstairs.
Picked a tough night for them - turned out to be the last night of Restaurant week and they were very busy. We did not try the restaurant menu and ordered off the regular dinner menu since we hadn't been there before. Overall we liked the restaurant and experience and will return. We ordered off the menu and my linguini di mare entre was a bit cold, but I didn't complain and it was delicious. My wife's entre was salmon and was a touch undercooked - rather have it undercooked than overcooked so she also enjoyed her meal. The wine were very good and a highlight of the dinner. We'll be back to give them another go.
We enjoyed our food and drinks!
We were celebrating a birthday so I asked if they did a dessert for birthdays and the waitress said yes and suggested the cheesecake. It was very good! We will definitely go back again!
This was a nice place for lunch for three friends to enjoy getting caught up over good food. I had a mushroom pizza which was outstanding: thin crust, nicely prepared toppings. The cobb salad for a friend was very nice. The sandwich for the third person was heavy on the bread and light on inspiration. None of us left any uneaten food, though. I came from quite a distance and wouldn't do the trip solely to visit this restaurant but I could see where if I lived in Bothell, this might become a regular place for me to eat out.
We went during Restaurant Week. We loved the fried Brussels sprout appetizer, my Il Sole cocktail, and my cannelloni, but my partner’s steak was overdone, more medium well than medium rare. Desserts also good. Service was pleasantly solicitous without being overbearing.
Got seated quickly, waitress can to take drink order. Served drinks then placed our food order. Think maybe we were forgotten - took well over 30 - 40 minutes to get a plate of Risotto and Gamberoni. Others that came in after us were served and on to desert by the time we got our food. Food was good just not impressed with the lack caring - no apology for how long it took.
