With Happy Hour every day from open to 7 pm, Amarillo is a neighbourhood bar, with stunning food and beautiful drinks.

Somewhere to come for amazing wine, share plates, $16 Negronis & other specials every day to 7pm, a glass of Manzanilla & freshly shucked oysters, a date with cocktails and delicious food, meeting friends for birthday drinks and late-night dining. All in a room with beautiful light, high ceilings and a great sound system. There's also plenty of outdoor seating if you'd like to catch some sunshine. Timeless and welcoming.

We had made a booking to celebrate a birthday, when we arrived there, the host was unaware of the booking. Mumbled for us to sit at a table very close to a loud table, when there was nicer booth seatings free the whole night. The host then coldly dropped menus. Soon we were attended to by the other staff who were might nicer and informative of the menu options and service. The dishes, as nice as they tasted, were underwhelming in presentation and very small positions. Cocktails were great, but far too much rosemary in a Bloody Mary. Overall, we felt unwelcomed upon entry and not too satisfied with our experience.

Sensational service, atmosphere, and food. A stunning venue for a date, or a quick bite with a small group. Excellent seating options either at the bar, or at a booth. Lovely lighting, excellent wine list. Modest but cool venue for a drink. Highly recommend.

This bar never misses a beat. It just gets everything right. It's hard to find a fantastic bar that also pairs fantastic food but Amarillo is always on point!
