   The server was great, but the food was terrible, and the ridiculously overpriced menu items were almost offensive, I am an executive chef, and have traveled the world, absolute Miami ripoff, I wish I would’ve known before I went. The Yucca was like wallpaper glue, not one item was served with any taste or skill. Absolutely disgusting ,$230 out of my pocket that I can never get back, Miami has lost it.

   Very disappointed with our experience. I was looking forward to sitting outside and was told it may sprinkle so we had to stay inside. Although it may have rained, it didn’t and felt like a staffing issue as other were being sat outside. That aside, there are waiters making an effort but sloppily. Eager to take things away as if they need to turn the table for the next guest, felt rushed. Plates are brought warm not hot and too quick to be made for us. Tuna tartare starter did not fill the plate so looked skimpy. NY Strip was warm but tough and the cauliflower was ok. Didn’t want to wait for dessert as everything had been disappointing. On the plus side the drinks were good but what this place really has is the amazing view. Overall for the prices paid food should be made to order and served properly but even then the menu was lacking and did not meet up to the hype and left feeling ripped off.

   The staff and service was exceptional. They also moved mountains to accommodate us as we originally had a reservation for 4 and last minute had a 5th guest join us. The restaurant was fully booked but they made it work and were able to seat us for 5. They went above and beyond to make it happen and were so grateful! Our waitress was incredible, prompt and really helpful (I wish I could remember her name!). Great experience.

   After receiving positive reviews, our experience was very poor. The venue, location and atmosphere were amazing however the Service was inconsistent. Food arrived separately - approx 15 min from when the first meal was delivered to receiving the last so the group didn’t eat together - extra items showing up not ordered and average food; all provided for a poor experience. Whilst the staff were sorry, there wasn’t a sense of urgency to fix the faults of the evening.

   Came for Sunday lunch to celebrate my birthday with my family and was pleasantly surprised. Ambiance, service and food was excellent. Not sure what those negative reviews are all about. Everyone from the hostess to the busboy were so gracious and attentive. We eat out a lot and I’m not easy to please. Loved the food, drinks and especially the desserts! Will definitely return.

    An explosion of flavors; a vibrant ambiance, and great music collaborated to our perfect romantic dinner overlooking the bay under the stars. If you want to sit close to the water, there is an additional cost involved but completely worth it. 👱🏻‍♀️

    I used to come here all the time, but now ….The menu is terrible ! Food was nothing impressive. Drinks are just ok . Service was just ok (lots of noise from many people working , but not to the point, they kept forgetting bringing drinks to the table) But the view is great I can’t argue . Wish they went back to original menu when everything was mouth watering .

    The service was amazing, our waiter was very attentive and pleasant through the dinner experience. The food traste good but the value is extremely disappointing. We asked for the seafood parrillada which had a cost of $175 and when we received it it had half of a small lobster, two prawns, 6 extremely small oysters a tiny pice of fish and two small octopus tentacles. The whole thing was served on a plate size that is the same as any other dinner plate. It was extremely disappointing and we felt taken advantage of. The arroz verde was great and that was the only thing that was fulfilling. An extremely disappointing experience for the price. I don’t think we will be gin for back, it was an absolute rip off !

    It was a beautiful afternoon to eat by the water and Amara offered up in spades. The view was gorgeous. The food and drinks were delicious. The service was friendly and attentive.

    Valet parking is worthless and they pick and choose who to service. Menu is good but limited at least for lunch but the view makes up for everything else.

    The staff should be more friendlier. Even though with my reservation for four people. I was at the front desk and the young lady look at me and say stand over there while she’s taking other people behind me then I went back to her and ask her did you get our information. She just give me that look and told me I’m working on it. I guess it’s because of Thanksgiving overwhelm but my bill was over $700 so I needed a little respect

    We booked this restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner since we just flew in from Los Angeles. Really delicious and amazing service! Highly recommend for a beautiful evening with great city views.

    Poor service when it came to waiting table. All plates came out cold. Fish dinner was missing the fish! $56 plates with one small cold piece of turkey. Worst I have ever experienced, so never again for me.

    Amara is always a fun place. While the parking can be goofy (the valet would not take my small pickup, sheesh), the location is great. Beautiful view of the bay. We had a very fine bottle of wine, the sommelier came over to discuss, as she had just worked the harvest of that very winery!

    Honestly I was expecting more of the food. Ambiance great, the layout fantastic, the food disappointing. The cilantro rice too dry and the egg was over cooked. The ceviche regular and the wayu burger it was good. Service was great too.

    What a shame. Food was AWFUL! I’d compare it to slightly elevated airplane food. This used to be one of my favourite restaurants in Miami but tonight we actually thought they changed the chef because of how bad the food was. We were a table of 6 and we all couldn’t believe that this was the same restaurant we ate at last year. None of us would ever come back. The menu was great before and the food was amazing. Why change something when it’s working? To make matters worse, the service was awful too. Really unfortunate.
