The food and presentation was terrible, worst I had in a very long time!!
Delicious dishes, Great ambience, and outstanding service!
The food is excellent, and the view and setting is sublime. Regardless of temperature we love to eat outdoors. The service is not always perfect though.
Wonderful views and very good food. Grilled fish is amazing.
Wonderful experience. Food was amazing. Restaurant is beautiful. Service was excellent. Highly recommend this place for special occasions!
The service was terrible, no one came around to take the order or check on us. The food not that good, over price for the quality.
Betters restaurants in Miami for the same price.
I did a reservation for 9:15 and I was waiting about 1 hour to sit - and I‘m pregnant.
The service takes TO LONG.
service was very slow that night . not as usual . offer dessert . but food came little by littler.
Would be 5 stars but valet is awful. It’s worth parking 2-3 blocks away at a meter and walking to avoid valet. Trust me.
Service was a bit slow but given the fact that it was packed is understandable
The restaurant has a beautiful view on the bay. We enjoyed our drinks (wine and cocktails) and the food as well. The cobia was especially good.
I didnt know that the kitchen closed at 3pm and we got there at 3:15 and they still accommodated us an took our order. Thank you.
Food was tasty, service was good, The restaurant is beautiful, their salad portions weren’t so big. Small pieces of delicious grilled tuna,
El lugar es un sueño!!
Great view, great service. Some items were excellent (i.e. Prawns), however some other items were too salty for my taste.
Overall great atmosphere and service.
Everything was excellent
The food is well presented but there is still room for improvement, considering the prices. It is VERY expensive. However, the ambiance and view is spectacular.
Great food, service and a beautiful setting with indoor and outdoor seating.
Great food, nice vibe -great wait staff
My first time at Amara was great but this past weekend i was disappointed with the lunch. The gazpacho was bland and the grouper was slightly raw, as I made my way closer to the thicker part of the cut. Very basic seasoning and somewhat bland.
Overall it was an expensive lunch that could of been better for the price. Typical Miami.
On the positive side, the ambience, venue and service were good. But the food, not so great. The yuca bites were the highlight.
The food was amazing and the ambience great. We sat on the terrace and it was a happening place. Lots of people and lots of fun for a Monday night!!!! My only but, and it is a small but, was that the service was a bit slow responding to some requests. i.e. we needed the table to be leveled and it took about three requests. However, the place is so nice and the food is so good that it really didn´t matter! Thank you for a great dinner
I’ve been coming to Amara for a few months now - for dinner, for resident happy hours, business meetings, and I’ve noticed all the efforts this place has made to improve.
I decided to come by for my anniversary and I’m glad I did; dinner was incredible, every dish was beautifully plated and tasted great.
Fernando our server did good, and Gabriela was very attentive and offered great suggestions!
Keep it up :)
Luis was awesome and provided a wonderful brunch experience.
We have mixed feelings about our dinner at Amara at Paraiso. The place is beautiful in a nice neighborhood. Very lively. But the food is average and the service pushy (the waitress kept recommending the priciest items on the menu). Grouper ceviche was delicious as were the grilled shrimps. But the steak was only ok (awful chimichurri) and cheese puffs very boring. Vegetable dishes not bad.
So we should have definitely stuck to our regular spots for much better food and service at similar price...
We had a truly pleasurable dining experience. They have nice outdoor space, and overall it was a real nice atmosphere I really liked everything we had. The octopus and the flan were the standouts, and we don't usually get that excited about flan. I would definitely go back.
Como si lee espectacular !
From coming into the restaurant to leaving the restaurant, everyone was extremely helpful, knowledge. The food was amazing, our favorite dish for the night was The Arroz Verde.
The only “con” was the wind. It was extremely windy last night and it was a bit annoying, but we managed and enjoyed our date night. Until next time!
The views are breaking and the ever changing menu with the intense flavors are amazing! I saw a tray of Empanadas come out and the guy behind me was like wow!! What are those. And I was like I know how different can they make empanadas. But they were one of the best I’ve ever had in a town filled with Bodga’s on every corner selling them. Also the summer vegetables and home made chorizo was to die. Love the views love the vibe and the food always lives up to it!!
Portions are small. Food is overpriced.
Perfect for Sunday brunch with friends !
My favorite restaurant in Miami. The ambience is the best.. the views, the place, atmosphere, food. Good for dinner, brunch, lunch.. you can't go wrong. Love it
Great food and service as usual
Good but not great. Too much wait for food and drinks
Lamb was overcooked and salty and the other plate was lukewarm
At first I was very disappointed because I had made reservations to sit outside by the water for our anniversary. When we got there they didn't have anything outside and they couldn't tell me how long the wait for a table outside was either. Then they sat us on a bar stool at the corner of the restaurant which was VERY HOT! Finally after we complained they sat us outside by the water on 2 couches and a little side table. We then waited approximately 15 mins before someone even approached us to see if we were being assisted. The server that was assigned to our area was very nice and apologized for inconvenience. The food and atmosphere were great but the introductory service leaves a lot to be desired if Amara is to be considered an "upscale" dining experience. I expected more from a Michael Schwartz restaurant...
It was my wife’s birthday and we came to have a nice dinner by the water. The drinks were great, food was amazing, and service was outstanding. I would definitely recommend this place and will be back again in the future.
Amara at Paraiso is a beautiful restaurant that overlooks Biscayne Bay. Great views. The food is good but the menu is limited. The restaurant is very expensive and the large entrees should be offered with some sides included. I also noticed for such an expensive restaurant, the waiters are dressed way too casual for such an upscale restaurant. I would recommend for a special occasion. Just know that it is pricey.
Disappointed to see I asked for a Kir Royale which involves champagne. Automatically poured Veuve Cliquot at $25 a shot without consulting. Could have used a prosecco which I mentioned. Didnt catch until home. Pricey lunch! Surprised at gouging, but I should have checked. Not returning! Sorry. Expected better from a Michael Schwartz restaurant, since I have patronized Michael's Genuine etc for years.
