   I made reservations several weeks in advance, at my son’s request who is going to college there, but received a call they were cancelling them—-the owners weren’t going to be there, and they weren’t going to have staffing. Even though they cancelled our reservations, I was still sent reminders and now I’m being asked for a review of our time there. I hope my card isn’t charged.

   Not the same quality as when it first opened. Made our reservation about a month ahead and asked for booth for comfort. Got the table upstairs in the back corner where we stared at a blank wall. Entertaining a relative from out of state and were embarrassed as it wasn’t as nice as we were making it sound. Cauliflower dish was too hard to cut as not cooked very much and quesadilla starter wasn’t that interesting. Tacos too spicy and wish our waiter had pointed that out when ordering. Not going back. Trying to not think about the bill :(

   Food and drinks are always amazing here. Chairs are a little uncomfortable, every visit one item we order is always forgotten. Staff is always friendly.

   Food and service always good but I went on a weekend, was not that busy as I heard people coming in with no reservation but out food took about 50 min, 2 of the same plate and a kids meal and as always is getting so overpriced

   The basic margarita was the tastiest we have ever had. The guacamole was the best, and the corn appetizer was yummy, too. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. My serving of carne asada was very generous and cooked perfectly. Nice to be able to reserve a table on Open Table. And plenty of free parking just one block away. We will definitely make the trek from Boise for another visit--it's worth the drive.

   Food was remarkable! Enquites were flavorful and delicious, limey. Guac was spicy, might be nice to have a less spicy version for gringos. Mole coloradito was really good. Chicken skin under the sauce was still crispy. L.A. Birria tacos were awesome per my husband, but too greasy for me. Sweet Corn Tamal for dessert was funky. Chunks of cheese in the ice cream, but I think that's pretty traditional. Will Def go back!

   The food and drinks were amazing! Love the atmosphere and the look of the restaurant. Service was great! Definitely will be back.

   Great service from beginning to end. The beef tacos were not warm when delivered, but was quickly replaced. All food was delicious, but the prices were high compared to the volume served. We paid for delicious chips and salsa, but the quantity of salsa was not worth the price. The ceviche was outstanding! The food was so good we would definitely go back.

    We went to Amano for our moms birthday dinner. We had never been there before but were absolutely blown away at how amazing the food was and service to match. Everyone was very welcoming and attentive. They also were more than happy to clarify parts of the menu and make recommendations. We were all more than happy with our decision to dine at Amano and it will remain a staple for years to come!!
