   The food was amazing but the service really let them down. They brought out our main course over an hour after being there , and the biggest problem was we hadn't had our starter!! So main course taken away and had to wait another 20 mins for starter! They then brought out 4 starters and one of them should have been vegetarian!! We then had to wait for the vegetarian starter to be made!! Such a shame as could of been a really great night!!

   Amani delivers again on high quality reasonably priced food that is not run of the mill. Although having said that one of our party went for a traditional chicken jalfrezi and loved it

   Good food prepared by a chef who understands his craft. The Tandoori king prawn dish is one of my wife's favourite dishes whilst the Punjabi chicken offers enough of a kick without blowing your head off to keep me coming back for more.

   Agreed with Azad the owner/chef a week prior to dining a couple of main courses that did not appear on the standard menu. My wife had rack of lamb which was delicious, beautifully marinaded lamb in a subtle sauce, whilst I had the tandoori chicken in a fenugreek sauce which again was a delight. Our thanks go out to Azad for a memorable meal.

   We had another agreeable meal at Amani. My wife had the lamb shank which was not only well cooked and beautifully spiced but was a very generous portion size, not recommended for the smaller appetite. Whilst I plumped for the Hake special which was very enjoyable.

   Hadn’t been been for a few weeks and in our absence the menu at Amani had been changed. Several new meal options to choose from so both my wife and I decided to order meals hadn’t tried before. My wife had the Chilli Beef which she found very spicy but quite delicious, whilst I plumped for the Hake with Kerala sauce which was excellent.

    The food at Armani is always very good. However on this visit it took an exceptionally long time for our meal to arrive, I was told this was due to a large take out order!
