Great experience, first time there and will be definitely go back! The food was excellent. Theo our waiter was very nice and explained all of the menu and he also makes great drinks, would definitely recommend to try this restaurant. Great job.

A great experience! We shared the Whole Grilled Branzino and it fell off the bones. It was delicious. Great service and ambiance and the Portuguese wine was lovely.

Our first time at Amalia. It is Portuguese inspired with only one piri piri chicken on the menu - which was very good! I’d recommend serving the salad before the meal and offering a small salad option for the other main courses on the menu. The eggplant dish was wonderful! The server was lovely and attentive - but she was very inexperienced and needed to ask a lot of questions. The ventilation is still an issue as it was with the restaurants that were in the same location previously. Hopefully the terrace will open soon!

Service throughout the meal took very long. From drinks to appetizers and main meal took way over 30 min to arrive. Appetizer of octopus carpaccio was tasteless and dry. Oysters were oysters can’t go wrong there. Piri Piri chicken came cold but the potatoes were hot. The chicken tasted like a store bought rotisserie chicken no spices no sauce no piri piri anything. My friends fish filet was also tasteless and sub par. For sure won’t be returning. Not sure what all the hype is about
