Food was delicious but portions were enormous and we weren't warned of that so we were completely too full to finish our entrees which was disappointing.
We felt as though everyone was friendly and warm. The menu is very interesting
Superior cuisine beautiful surroundings excellent service.
My friends and I had a fabulous experience dining at Amali. We celebrated my birthday there in style and our server was very kind and personable. We sincerely appreciated the excellent service, and I cannot wait to come back again soon! Thank you for a truly memorable experience yet again!
You'll feel an immediate sense of warmth as you walk into Amali. If it's ambiance doesn't feel enough like an escape from your anxiety-filled life, wait until the appetizer hits your plate (my date and I highly recommend the cauliflower).
It's the small details that made the dining experience at Amali feel extra grand. Sesame bread was the perfect included starter and a nice compliment to the artisan cocktails; the mains didn't come until we finished the appetizer (none of this shuffling of plates on the table business); all members of the staff spoke with knowledge and passion about their favorite dish; the birthday gelato came on a plate with chocolate written in calligraphy (a sure way to get your date to smile).
The food is interesting and cooked excellently. The price is steep so best for special occasions.
hosted a ladies power lunch for 12 and we had a great experience! The food was great.
The food was delicious!
There were a lot of people there, and it was noisy
Expensive .. really doesn’t worth it at all. Meal for two people costed $145 without ordering any drinks. Very normal nothing special, just like if you are getting chicken or pasta from your regular cheap italian restaurant
Superb experience: the spanish octopus was delicious and the Branzino for two people was simply the best I ever had..period!
Will definitely go back
Food was quite good but very expensive for what it is.
The food, the service, all of it was fantastic! We had the whipped feta to start, I had the scallops, my friend the quinoa crusted duck. We finished off with the olive oil cake. Stunning food all round!
The staff were lovely. Unfortunately the overall experience was not as wonderful as we were expecting. I think we’ll need to go back and try again. We were not familiar with the menu and the night was a bit cold and dreary.
The food is amazing
The food is truly special. I never order pasta and
I had the seafood one. Homemade noodles and perfect amount of chopped up seafood. The dips with flatbread were tasty. Great place with live music. Loved every minute. And the olive oil cake! 😘
Good delicious ! Service great ! Great nyc ambiance
The good was excessively salty and very overpriced.
Excellent place! Great food and atmosphere - service is attentive.
Food was all on the saltier side..even w/ my request to have less salt. Scallops & Halibut has tasty sauce & accompaniments but were overdone.
Good excellent. Very well prepared. Menu interesting. Pretty loud in a small place.
Very very good food but ridiculously mis-priced. Will not be going back; there are too many better options.
I had a very disappointing evening at Amali. The waiters did not wear masks and stood very close to the table. They explained they are vaccinated but I would've felt more comfortable if they wore masks. The service was extremely slow and the entrees arrived an hour and a half after ordering. We sat for a 730pm reservation and didn't finish until almost 10pm. Given the high price point at Amali, I expected a better dining experience.
Excellent food and service. The halibut and the hummus were outstanding.
Outstanding as always. Food, service and setting all great.
The best branzino I ever ate!
Delicious appetizers and we loved the grilled bread with the feta. We were very disappointed with the cocktails. Fun names and descriptions but they were extremely weak and had 75% ice!
I had the tagliatelle which was just ok, and my partner had the duck which was very good, especially the sauce.
If you like duck, you have to order the quinoa crusted duck. It's possibly the best duck I've ever had. I can't wait to go back and have it again. The autumn squash was also amazing.
Good food, great service, what else is there to say.
the food was great!
cocktails were really good too.
The food is innovative and delicious, a wonderful take on Mediterranean cuisine. The service is really great and friendly and the ambience is welcoming and quaint. A neighborhood gem, and one I highly recommend.
Food is unusual, interesting and good. Service is very good. Outdoor dining venue needs an upgrade.
The chef did not have time for the chef tasting menu, which we booed. So we ordered off the regular menu. We were looking forward to it
Had a delightful dinner outside. Service was good snd food unusual and delicious
FOOD WAS DELICIOUS
Terrible food - came back cold several times
The food was delicious, the outdoor space was lovely and inside is inviting
The food and ambiance is amazing
The food and service is great, but with no ambiance... If you wanna eat well, Amali is a good option. but if you wanna eat well and have a great experience, mb you can find better options
Best bronzino I’ve ever had!
Went the night there was a live band. The music was great but like all live bands in a small area, not great for conversation.
