Amalfi Ristorante Italiano & Bar
Food and service were excellent! We can’t wait to go back.
Dinner was wonderful. Loved the food. Every course was just out in front of us and nothing explained. We had the cheese board and no idea what was what. Split engrossed, nobody offered fresh parm or anything. Server was nice just spread too thin.
Food was incredible, service was awesome. Will b bk
Very good food and service. But prices are RIDICULOUS!
Went to Amalfi’s for a very last minute lunch celebration for our Anniversary. Food was excellent as usual and we were surprised with an amazing dessert!
We really enjoyed dinner at Amalfi.
One of the best meals we have had in a long time! Exceptional food and service, truly an amazing dinner. Can’t wait to go back!
Awesome food and atmosphere. It is a little noisy, but overall great.
Great food great service !
The fetus uní with white truffle was fantastic and the oysters were amazing!
Very nice place. Good crowd for dinner. And the food is delicious
Creative well executed dinner menu. Noise level permitted good conversation with our guests. Waitress was pleasant, knowledgeable, helpful w/o being intrusive. Excellent evening!
While the food and drinks are strictly top-notch at Amalfi, the noise level at this restaurant is among the highest of any restaurant in the city. We absolutely love the food, ranking it the top Italian restaurant in Houston, we just can't carry on a conversation here unless we come in after 8:30 PM, when the crowd has begun to depart.
We noticed on a recent Saturday night that the trio (which includes a singer) was not present; this was helpful, and we hope the restaurant will continue to omit this added sound so diners can carry on conversations while dining.
Food, presentation and presentation are all strictly tops.
Four of us dined. All had a pasta dish after Antipasti ( Tuna tartare ). One requested pasta carbonara, one the ravioli with lobster slices and two pasta with mushrooms- on the menu in more detail. All were great! We love the Chef’s dessert sample selection of 8 small things. Also had two bottles of Perbacco red.
All was enjoyed
We celebrated 2 Birthdays at Amalfi’s.
Outstanding as usual. One of our favorite restaurante.
We have lived in Houston for 4 years and only just came here. The outside bears no relation to what is inside. We were all so impressed!
Great food, excellent service. Very well run restaurant all around. The ambience is elegant yet very friendly. Menu is quite varied with wonderful, authentic Italian dishes. Tonight we had Ossibuco, Branzino, Beef Carpaccio, various good salads and caramel brûlée and rum baba. Great meal!
Delicious food! Service was great and what a nice, cozy spot. We sat outside because the inside was quite loud. But, if you don't mind the noise, it's a very lovely restaurant inside with a warm, intimate feel.
the patio was nice too. We will definitely be back!
Amalfi is the absolute best and only real Italian restaurant in the Houston area.
The service is provided by professional waiters and not by people only working as servers till they find another job.
Nice service, real Italian food and good ambience.
Very lively inside restaurant. Went Saturday evening and they were very busy. Staff was very friendly.
What a neighborhood gem! A friend told me about this restaurant, and we loved it! The staff is so friendly and the food is delicious! Be sure to make a reservation before you go to this popular place as it was packed when we went. If you like a slightly quieter environment, ask for a table in the wine room.
Very loud. Tables close together. Food delicious.
The ambiance reminded us of Italian restaurants, cozy and tight spaces. Really enjoyed the HRW menu. Will definitely go back for regular menus.
Service and food was over the top! We will be back!
Restaurant week was the special occasion and we enjoyed it. Service was great. Loved the bread sticks and ambience was good. Sat in back room. Would recommend to friends. Very good restaurant.
Had teservation for 8.30 PM and was seated at 9.30 PM. Very noisy, tables on top of each other. Food was disappointing. Would not recommend.
This restaurant is a wonderful Italian restaurant in Houston!
There were very crowded because of Restaurant week.
We also ordered from restaurant week menu and food was all good!
We will absolutely come back here again for the regular menu.
It was ok just bad experience.
Highly recommend the Branzion fish!
Great food and attentive waiter. It was a lovely date night.
4 of us went for Restaurant Weeks. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful the service was. Even though the restaurant was full we felt special
and it wasn't too loud. The food presentation and flavor were excellent. We will be back soon.
Fantastic food. Fresh homemade pasta. Great wine. Gianni is the best waiter. What else do you need?
Well it took a bit of time for someone to even address our table? Which was disappointing as it was our first time and my fathers birthday.
I ordered the chicken as I don’t eat beef or seafood, sadly I found the chicken a tad dry-
However my father enjoyed his meal immensely, so that’s a happy end.
Como siempre la comida estuvo excelente, el ambiente muy agradable y la atención excepcional. Les felicito y continuen de esa manera.
Ya hice mi proxima reservacion.
Saludos y Muchas Gracias
Fantastic food, great service. Had a great time.
We will come back.
This was a great place for a date night. I really enjoyed taking my wife out.
The food and service were outstanding! The presentation was beautiful. Even the plates on the tables next to us. The restaurant was packed, which is always a good sign. It definitely time for an upgrade to a larger space.
