Our dining experience at Amalfi's was nothing short of fabulous! Our server was educated and very eager to provide a wonderful experience. The gnocchi and shrimp pasta were delicious. And the pistachio ice cream dessert was perfect, as always. The ambience was incredible and we enjoyed every moment of the experience can't wait to go back!

A Dream Dinner Turned a Bit Disappointing – Amalfi by Bobby Flay I had always dreamed of dining at Amalfi by Bobby Flay, so my husband and I finally made it there last night for a special date night. I was really excited to try the food—but unfortunately, the experience was a bit mixed. We started with the artichoke appetizer, which was a letdown. It was overly oily and yet somehow dry at the same time. The dipping sauce helped a little, but overall, we didn’t enjoy it at all. Thankfully, the branzino completely redeemed the meal. It was perfectly cooked, tender, and melted in the mouth. No complaints there—it was outstanding. I had the polentini with mushrooms on the side, and sadly, that didn’t impress either. The flavor just wasn’t there for me. To end the meal, we tried the tiramisu, which was actually quite good—rich and flavorful—but the sweetness level was way too high. A little more balance would’ve made it perfect. Final thoughts: If you’re going just for the branzino, you’ll probably be happy—it’s definitely the star of the show. But based on what I tried, I wouldn’t recommend the other dishes. It was a bit of a letdown for a restaurant I had been so excited to try.

Wonderful food. Disappointed with the service. We were celebrating our youngest daughter’s 21st birthday. We told our server in advance. At the end of the meal, the server asked if we wanted dessert. We said no, but the server said ‘not even for your daughter’s birthday girl?’ We said, ‘you’re right.’ Then when the tab came, they had charged for the dessert. I stopped the server and said ‘I was surprised you included the dessert. Don’t you normally comp the dessert on someone’s birthday or offer a shot on someone’s 21st birthday? Our server just said ‘we don’t do that.’ Kind of weird. I talked to the manager, and he apologized and said that on people’s birthdays, the server definitely can offer a shot or comp a dessert. In fairness, the food was great. Just disappointed our server wasn’t at all friendly.

The branzino tasted like fish and lacked flavor but the fried artichokes were amazing and worth the visit. The potatoes were meh if you eat Spanish tapas but the olive oil cake was great. Not excellent but solid.

The food was exceptional! We had a wonderful experience at Amalfi celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary despite having an unfriendly server, Natalie, who was very blunt and only spoke to us in curt, short sentences. We noticed she offered the same unwelcoming service to the tables around us as well, but the rest of the staff were warm and professional.
