   The food is not worth the hype. Pasta came out undercooked and it lacked elevated flavor. The noise level was very high for a nice restaurant being situated on the casino floor with an open air concept. Good service but quality of food was just not there. Would’ve preferred a more classic approach to Italian cuisine with better quality.

   We selected our red snapper which was cooked to perfection. The focaccia was crispy and light, the clam linguine was savory and the artichoke and peas were yummy. We ended with the cherry pastry dessert which was superb. Our waitress Deanna was amazing! Thank you!

   Food was delicious, service was amazing. Would definitely come back and recommend to others. The crispy artichokes were so good, I had the Branzino, lemon Meyer with capers and the Gnocchi with a Caesar salad. Can’t say anything bad about any of it, the Gnocchi was my favorite, it was like a bite of heaven! Finished the meal with chocolate hazelnut cake!

   Service was impeccable. We both chose a red snapper for dinner. The fish was so fresh and beautiful! Bright clear eyes, almost felt like it was just pulled out of the water. We began with the Roasted Prawns. Perfectly cooked, lightly charred, with a nice hit of heat, just enough to wake up the pallet but not enough to burn. Next was the Caesar salad. Although a very tasty dressing, I was not a fan of the texture of the black kale. My snapper was cooked perfectly, flaky and tender, with the skin browned. The skin was a bit flabby, not crisp, but that was okay, because I don't eat the skin. It was filleted beautifully into two lovely fillets. Seasoned just the right amount to not overpower the delicate taste of this yummy fish. We ordered the crispy potatoes as a side. These were wonderfully seasoned, bright and flavorful, crispy and crunchy. Just the perfect accompaniment to the Snapper.

   Probably the best dinner we’ve ever had. Steak, pasta and fish were all fantastic ! Waitress was attentive and knowledgable. Great experience for a late night dinner after a long day of travel!

    Lifelong Bobby Flay fan and first time dining at Amalfi with high expectations. Certainly a mixed bag of results with the food. Excellent drinks in the Amaretto Sour and Mezcal negroni. Best octopus I've ever had, tender and flavorful. Artichoke hearts were too thick and greasy, lifted by the lemon aioli. Burrata was fine, nothing special. The house focaccia was unique and delicious. The fresh fish and Kenny the fishmonger was a fun diversion and I had a whole John Dory with Meyer lemon and capers - quite delicious. The crispy potatoes which were highlighted as "the best" were greasy and overfried, a huge disappointment. The mushroom polenta was disappointing in presentation and consistency more than taste; it was "soupy" more than what I expect from polenta. Lastly, dessert. The caramel tiramisu was quite moist and well presented, but is far from traditional. What appeared to be sponge cake instead of ladyfingers tasted more like dark chocolate rather than espresso or caramel. The lemon cake was decent but needed more sour pop from lemons and the cake was a little dry and dense. For the expectations and the price, I wouldn't rush back.
