Amalfi will transport guests to the Southern Coast of Italy, with its enchanting blend of coastal ease and fresh, bright flavors. Lifelong Bobby Flay fan and first time dining at Amalfi with high expectations. Certainly a mixed bag of results with the food. Excellent drinks in the Amaretto Sour and Mezcal negroni. Best octopus I've ever had, tender and flavorful. Artichoke hearts were too thick and greasy, lifted by the lemon aioli. Burrata was fine, nothing special. The house focaccia was unique and delicious. The fresh fish and Kenny the fishmonger was a fun diversion and I had a whole John Dory with Meyer lemon and capers - quite delicious. The crispy potatoes which were highlighted as "the best" were greasy and overfried, a huge disappointment. The mushroom polenta was disappointing in presentation and consistency more than taste; it was "soupy" more than what I expect from polenta. Lastly, dessert. The caramel tiramisu was quite moist and well presented, but is far from traditional. What appeared to be sponge cake instead of ladyfingers tasted more like dark chocolate rather than espresso or caramel. The lemon cake was decent but needed more sour pop from lemons and the cake was a little dry and dense. For the expectations and the price, I wouldn't rush back.

Starters were outstanding - burrata, charred octopus and crispy artichokes. This might just be my all time favourite meal!

The only thing that makes this not a five star experience is the noise from outside the restaurant. So if that doesn’t bother you it’s absolutely worth it.

PHENOMENAL! We had dinner at the bar, and the service and the food were both impeccable and to the highest standards! The "rags" pasta is the best sauce we ever had! Do go there!

We had reservations, and we got seated as soon as we arrived. The food came very fast, and it was delicious. The seafood tasted very fresh and was a great choice. My only small note is that the tables are very plain (no center table decoration). I would definitely go again.

Enjoyed the food very much. Everyone we encountered from hostess to busboys were so friendly, except our server. She wasn’t bad, per se, just unengaging. We tried having pleasant conversations with her (as we did with others) there and yet she was just without personality. We actually nicknamed her as “Robot-a” for the rest of the trip. Our favorite dish was the “rag” pasta with arrabiata sauce. While we shared dishes, we regret that we only got one order of this one.
