Met a friend for a late lunch. She wanted to try a new place. I love the ambiance. The appetizers were amazing! Best glass of Moscato ever!
Really nice place.
Food was great! Especially the risotto balls. Don’t get the sangria though… it’s not traditional. Made from a mix. The spaghetti isn’t tasty either. The pizza, lobster ravioli and calzone are amazing.
Food, once it arrived after quite a while, was very good. Wait staff seemed overwhelmed. Manager was doing her best to help out, but it was a bit chaotic. No bread was brought or offered. Value was good for the food quality.
Food was decent, ambience was nice.
Expected crust on pizza to be better.
Nothing really special.
Beautiful restaurant, great food, incredible service!!
We went on Sunday when only pizza and calzones were available. The food was good but our waitress seemed to be mad at us from the get go. I know service industry has been In The heat of being treated poorly by the public but give us a chance to be nice before you pass judgement on all customers.
Great food, needed more help but when we visit Atlanta for the gift show we always come back,
Great atmosphere and amazing food. Music was a little too loud, but otherwise our experience was fantastic.
We come here every time we visit Atlanta. The food is always wonderful.
We loved our meal! The waitress was wonderful! However there was no bread. We were told there was no bread because they were out. That is hard to fathom. The noise level made it difficult to talk to one another in a booth. Food and drink were delicious!
Everything was wonderful, except a ceiling light kept flickering through the complete meal
Food was perfectiin
Shared an appetizer, salad, pizza, 2 desserts & a bottle of wine- all were excellent!
Food was outstanding.. surpassed only by the excellent service!
We really love this restaurant. It’s got really good food! Unfortunately like most restaurants they are understaffed. Our waiter was nice but had too many tables. It wa s during the gift show so busier than usual. We got our drinks then our food…our appetizer salad came after we were done eating. Not ok. We will be back next show nonetheless.
The food is extremely tasty but the music that they were playing didn’t seem to fit the environment of Amalfi and it was so loud with the speaker being right by our table that it was very much annoying. But overall the food experience was amazing!
Fantastic ad always‼️ Never disappointed ❣️
Great food… excellent service!
We can't believe they've been in business 5 years and we just now found them! Charming ambiance with rustic floors and brick walls. Service was great, as was the food. Be sure to make reservations to ensure a spot!
We visited Amalfi while in Atlanta from out of town with our young children. We were staying at the Ritz and this restaurant was right around the corner. The restaurant is beautiful and spacious with lots of windows and architectural detail. We enjoyed watching the pizza dough being made and the large wood fired oven is impressive. Our food service was prompt and I felt we were well taken care of . The booths are large, comfortable, and private. The food was very good and we enjoyed the calamari, the stuffed pepper poppers, and the pizzas were exceptional. The wait staff was nice and attentive but of mediocre training. Due to the surrounding area, I would be hesitant to make a special trip to come here unless staying downtown. If this were in a nicer area of town, I would recommend it without hesitation.
Nice entrance but some clutter in the restaurant that we had to look at from our table. ( empty wine and alcohol boxes .)
The meat sauce was too thick and didn’t have much flavor.
My husband and son liked their dishes.
the service was terrible. never coming back here, food wasn’t even that good.
Great experience, would definitely patronize again!
The food, atmosphere, service, and experience were all incredible. My fiancé and I absolutely loved this restaurant and will be returning.
Food was excellent. Staff was energetic and seemed toove their job.
The service was not good and the pizza was just okay. Their salad and dessert was very good. Management and 2 staff members were seated at a table in the corner talking, while they only had 2 servers running around. First and last time at this Establishment. I will not return to this restaurant.
Waited at front counter for 15 minutes before being acknowledged and another 15 minutes to be seated
Amalfi was a good experience. My only complaint was the service. We had such a bad waitress which hurt the experience a good bit lol. But the food and the place was great. We had a pizza and some wine , that was very good.
It was very lackluster the ambiance was okay but it was a mixed vibe of Italian and something else. It just felt cheap the wine menu was also very expensive and when I ordered a glass it wasn’t anything impressive. The service was very slow and she seemed like the kind of person that got done working at Waffle House before she came to work their. The food was also very expensive and came out late. My gf compared her noodles to cheap ramen and said if she thought about it like that it was good for that but not for a $22 dish. Needless to say that’s the last time I just go with the Italian restaurant that can fit me in last time. Their was obviously a reason they had the availability.
The only current downside is the menu is smaller due to covid. But the food was delicious and so was the wine. The ambiance is very cute.
Excellent food - superior service - nice venue combined to make a wonderful dining experience for our party. HIGHLY recommended and do not let the "Pizza" in the name fool ya - very nice Italian menu besides just superb pizza. TRY THIS PLACE - you will be happy you did.
We read great reviews about this place and opted for it instead of Hard Rock Cafe. We were visiting Atlanta and were tired of the same old burgers and chicken tender meals. Even though it was Sunday which meant the menu was limited we all enjoyed our meals. My husband and younger daughter had pizza which they raved about. My older daughter and I had calzones. The food was cooked perfectly in the wood burning oven and the fillings were so full of flavor I can honestly say it was the best calzone I have ever had. The sauce is amazing too. The atmosphere is very nice and it’s a beautiful place to go for a celebratory dinner or a casual one.
The ambiance was very nice and unexpected. Food was amazing and service ok. We waited over 30 or so minutes for our food without many updates from our waitress. But she made up for it in the end. I’d definitely dine here again and would recommend to friends.
Arrived for 9:15 reservation and never received A waiter after 45 minutes of waiting and reminding the host
Great place with pleasing decor and ambiance! Our meals were good too. The service was extremely good. I wish I had remembered our sever’s name.
We arrived at our reservation time and we were seated promptly. We were the. Ignored for an hour. No one made eye contact with us, took our Drink orders or anything. Meanwhile, a table of 4 were seated after my husband and I. They had their drink order taken, got their drinks and had their food order taken. They had someone visit their table 4 separate times. This was very disappointing because we were really looking forward to some good Italian food. We ended up going across the street to Tin Lizzy’s. So disappointed. When we complained to the hostess on the way out, she apologized, but did nothing to remedy the situation.
Fantastic food and service! I recommend the calamari and pizza
Booths were really uncomfortable, both of our backs hurt terribly about midway through, we are in our 30s. We ordered 2 appetizers at different times and they came out really quickly, almost like they had them waiting. Then the entrees were taking a really long time, which apparently was because of the pizza, so they brought out our gnocchi order which was about 10 minutes ahead of the pizza even then. The gnocchi was awful, clearly had been sitting under a heat lamp, overly oily, and just not well prepared. The pizza was fine, but nothing to go back for. The music was really loud and kind of out of place for the restaurant.
Excellent food and service. Ambiance is gorgeous..walk up to the restaurant makes you feel like you're in Italy. Food so good.
