Great food and quick
Food was wonderful! We had pizza and calzones. Sauce, bread and toppings were great! Tiramisu for dessert was really tasty, too. Service was excellent. Wanted to try everything on the menu- some many great creations. Will definitely be back!
Great place when it’s not super crowded. Terrific pasta and salads. Went twice in one week and one night was a train wreck when they weren’t prepared for Mart visitors
Everybody had eaten by the time I got
Initial greeting and getting our table was fine. Server was polite and helpful however when the food arrived the expediter pretty much tossed it on the table. We each had a salad that was bone dry with hardly any dressing. My pasta dish with chicken the chicken was inedible - it was rubber chicken cubes with no flavor.
This was our first time here and it was amazing! We had an outstanding time and the food was amazing! My gf and I both work in aviation and we have traveled to many places and enjoy local cuisines in every country we’ve visited. We are both Italian food junkies and if you are looking to taste authentic Italian cuisine this is the place for you. The setting and ambiance was spectacular! We are already talking about planning another restaurant date night here.
My wife and I loved the environment because it wasn’t noisy. The coffee candles were lit, tables and areas around the tables were cleaned. The temperature in the building was room temperature, servers were on point. So I can say everything was on point.
Really great food, super quiet and romantic -
They said they do not accept open table reservations
Other than having to wait for a table, everything was excellent, we will definitely go back for the fabulous food and wonderful service.
Great date night! Good wine pairing.
We made reservation weeks in advance for New Years Eve. We called a few days ahead to confirm our dinner plans because we had 8 people coming in for New Year’s eve. The RUDE hostess said it wasn’t possible to have reservations because they had sold out for tickets. She said I need to turn off opentable. Let me get the owners involved. No phone call! We enjoyed a true Italian experience at Ninos!!!!
The food was okay. The “management” needed to step in to help the staff. There were two guys in the kitchen trying to put out food for the dining room, to go orders and the speakeasy down stairs, which resulted in no one being happy. We finally got our pizza because they started turning people away because it was past closing time. This restaurant needs to figure out who they are catering to and stick with it.
It was really bad.
Restaurant was super nice and had an amazing atmosphere, however we ate at the establishment on a Sunday. If you go on a Sunday they only serve pizza nothing else, no garlic bread no salad nothing else. The pizza was ok not worth the experience even doe it was hand tossed and some what gourmet. I would like to visit the restaurant on another occasion to give this establishment a fair evaluation. Server was super nice
Thought we’d try a new restaurant on this trip to ATL. Amalfi came recommended for good comfort food on a chilly evening. Striking rustic dining room with exposed beams and murals on the walls made for dramatic ambience from entrance to table. We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Freshly made pastas, custom prepared pizzas and calzones made for difficult choices, but we went for the traditionals. I picked an old favorite, linguini with clams, and Janice got spaghetti with marinara sauce. I was very impressed with the rich flavor of the clam sauce, Janice’s marina was probably the best I’ve tasted. Fresh tomatoes and herbs really showed through in the sauce. Very satisfying entrees to be sure! Finished our meal with house specialty tiramisu and cannoli. Only thing missing was an espresso to complete our meal (the machine was broken). The staff was particularly welcoming and made sure we had a good experience. Multiple times different ones stopped by our table to check on us and thanked us for choosing Amalfi. We will definitely make this a stop on our next visit to aAtlanta.
definitely reccomend this place as a first date and try the lobster ravioli. 😁
I took my children on a date for fine dining pizza. Great experience.
Very nice. We were so glad we came back again. Great job
Our food was amazing!! We got to our reservation a little early and our table was waiting on us! The staff was super sweet and helpful when the kids were not sure what they wanted. We will definitely go back many times. It is bow our favorite restaurant downtown. And we live the atmosphere!!
First off Tony was awesome!! I had the Carne with the stuffed crust. It is worth the extra money for ricotta crust. The bacon jam I could eat with a spoon!!! The only issue I found was when you enter you go up this long ramp that feels like you are walking thru a rustic Italian villa. But then get the top and I felt like I walked into a sports bar. Would still recommend this place to anyone coming near Atlanta, but wouldn’t necessarily say you have to eat there. I’ll probably do delivery next time passing through town.
Great Neapolitan pizza and pasta and a nice wine list. Our server was friendly and attentive. Would definitely visit again!
Unfortunately our waitress didn't wear the mask. Was not possible to split the check and they apply 21% automatic tip at the table with 5 People. It is not fair. The food was OK, not real Italian pizza but OK
Toni, our server was wonderful! As well as the other staff. The ambiance was beautiful and noise was minimal. I’ll definitely return.
Its good but its not italian at all. Very expensive for what it is
I was allowed to make a reservation for the exact time that they close. When I arrived 15 minutes early, the kitchen was breaking down and cleaning dishes. I would appreciate if you update the actual reservation hours that are available for this location. I also packed to pay $8 in parking and was locked in after I went to the restroom. An employee had to walk I was allowed to make a reservation for the exact time that they close. When I arrived 15 minutes early, the kitchen was breaking down and cleaning dishes. I'd love to return. I did enjoy the ambience, lighting and type of food served.
Staff and service was excellent. The minor issue we encountered was corrected immediately they paid a great deal to service.
Great Italian in Atlanta for a Friday evening
Service was so bad it made the experience bad. Good food but service was less than good.
Felt bad for the servers who were also playing host. It made things a bit chaotic and our server didn’t attend to us as we expected. I think management needs to plan better to ensure their host is present and taking responsibility for greeting seating and answering phones. This will aside the actual guest experience is as expected.
Had the best anniversary experience one could ask for. Thank you CiCi
everything about this place was amazing! the pizza is to die for & the staff is extremely friendly.
Thank you very much for joining us and the wonderful feedback! We look forward to serving you again soon.
Great place and a very romantic ambience. I had a great time with my boyfriend.
Wonderful, thank you!
I had the diavola pizza and it was soooo great. I would definitely recommend it.
The Diavola is one of our favorites, thank you!
I was disappointed because when went in we were told it was pizza only
We had a great anniversary diner at Amalfi. The service was spot on- friendly and professional! The food selection was good and everything we had was delicious. Almost as goof as being in Italy. The atmosphere was pleasant with lots of space between tables. Very quiet and pleasant to celebrate with family and friends.
I was really excited for this date night but was disappointed once we were seated. No waiter/waitress for 15 minutes. We did not have the proper silverware to eat and didn’t get our appetizer until the end of the meal. I was hoping for a better experience.
We absolutely loved it!
So happy you did!!!
I love it!! The food was on point. The atmosphere was among perfect. 💯 reccomemded.
Fantastic! Thank you for joining us!
Give Amalfi pizza a try, the manager was wonderfully apologetic for the hostess, who was extremely rude, even though she admittedly forgot to add our Opentable reservation to their system. He apologized profusely, sat us right away and gave us a lovely and very hospitable server. Clams and lobster ravioli were very good, as was the margarita pizza. Friends had the burrata salad and meatballs and also seemed to enjoy their selections. Please go and support this business if you are local, the manager has the right attitude and the food is deserving of a visit if you are downtown.
We had phenomenal service that was well advised and attentive. There’s a couple tv’s but we were too focused on the decor and fresh ingredients.
Thank you very much for the kind words, and joining us. We look forward to hosting you again soon!
