   The food and vibe were so good ! But it took up 2 hours to have lunch. Maybe it was just a busy Monday lunch but the food coming out was very slow.

   We were on the rooftop & there were fans but it was REALLY hot & stuffy/ I think the roof retracts but it wasn’t. The drinks and apps came & they were great but that’s where the greatness stopped. The staff served the food. not the waiter, we never saw him again until we were done. We ordered a salad with our dinner, we had to ask for salad plates, we had to ask for Parmesan cheese? Red pepper & a spoon to serve the salad as well as a plate for my seafood shells. We were planning to have another cocktail but we were done. My son’s food was Luke warm & my daughter in law had lemon pasta that was cooked perfectly but barely had any lemon flavor. Although it’s decorated very cute, it did not look clean. My son’s food said the men’s bathroom was filthy. There were lockers outside the bathrooms that looked like they hadn’t been wiped down in months, totally visible to the public. Although it was Mother’s Day there’s no excuse. For Eataly, we expected much. Much more & it wasn’t cheap. Completely disappointed. Wont go back or recommend- such a shame.

   Horrible service. One entree came out 45min after the rest of the table and only after the server came out to say that he had messed up and forgotten to put the order in at the beginning of the meal and the kitchen was no longer serving brunch, so another entree had to be selected. Then they tried to charge us for both the original entree AND the replacement entree. They did fix the bill, but nothing was comped and no apologies were given. Bad Mother’s Day experience.

   I can't remember if it's always so hot on this rooftop but it was quite toasty. It felt like walking into a sauna upon our entrance. We came for prix fixe brunch and we were informed that they were out of avocados and pancakes which eliminated choices from both categories so that was a bummer. Our server was very sweet and attentive. I want to say her name was Julia.

   I was so excited to have Mother’s Day brunch with my husband at Eataly Amalfi at Serra rooftop restaurant. The design and atmosphere was great , but it was too hot there (today was nice warm weather), because it’s not an open rooftop. They have a huge fans blowing in all directions, either in your face or in your back. Prefix $45 menu wasn’t impressive, and a suggested $17 cocktail had too much ice, and very little liquor. Maybe it’ll be more nicer there at night, or on a cooler day, and maybe a regular menu would better than prefixed.

   This was such a cute pop up event! Was soooo glad to have gotten a reservation! Our group loved the food and drinks and the ambiance!

   Just okay... lemons are fake. Food was okay, menu limited. I enjoyed, but I wouldn't go out of my way to go here.
