   Good food, great people, but we were dropped a few times on the service side. The food prices were reasonable, but the wine a bit over the top😳. Overall we had a very good time and will go again!

   Amal is an experience. My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and made a 6:30 res on a Thursday. The restaurant is gorgeous. The vibe is perfect with the down tempo beats in the background, comfortable seating, tables spaced out, and decor that sends you to an exotic location. The service was spot on. Not too much, but attentive when needed. Our server knew the menu inside and out and thoughtfully curated a tasting of highlighted dishes. The food was awesome. The hummus with beef tenderloin was epic. The octopus may be one of the best octopus dishes my wife and I ever had (and we order it wherever we go). The lamb was perfect... and the rice pudding took me back to the days growing up eating rice pudding that my mom made. Overall, exceptional. We will be back!

   The food is good but it’s overshadowed by the horrific service at this restaurant. It’s my third time dining here, and shame on me for going back for a third time. The second time I visited I had bad service and this last time was no different. The server seemed bothered by us. She came two times in a row to ask if we were ready to order, as if she was in a hurry. Then she almost disappeared! After our meal was brought out, she never came back to the table to check to see if our food was okay. I had to flag down someone else to bring me a salt shaker and to ask for more water. When she finally came back to the table, we asked if she had forgotten about us to which she just giggled in response. What a puzzling reaction! I don’t know what’s going on at this restaurant. It’s truly a shame because the food is good and the ambiance is very nice, but I won’t be going back.

   Had a horrible experience at Amal. Bad customer service from one of the hostesses, the manager and our server. Value for quality of food not great. Will never be back. 1. Had a 7 pm reservation for a party of 2. Upon arrival at 6:55 was told by the hostess that they were preparing our table and to give her 5 minutes. After 10 minutes of waiting at the bar and seeing no table being set up in a HALF FULL restaurant, I went back up to the hostess with the long brown hair to ask about our table, she again told me our table was still being set up. I asked her to please point to the table that is being set up for us in the MOSTLY EMPTY restaurant with all unoccupied tables already set up. After complaining that her explanation made no sense, the other hostess finally showed us to a table. 2. After waiting for approx. 20 minutes for a server to show up to our table, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager walked by our table several times but was either ignoring us or was purposely not told we wanted to speak to him. I finally flagged him down and explained the situation. He asked what he could do to remedy the situation but was not sympathetic, did not apologize for the issues, and never came back to the table to see how the situation was resolved. A good manager would have provided an explanation or simple apology for the issues. He did nothing to change our experience and improve the situation. 3. After waiting for approx. 30 minutes the server FINALLY showed up to our table with attitude and no eye contact. No apology or explanation for the delay. The table next to us had a different server who came to that table several times while we were waiting for our server to come to our table for the FIRST time. 4. To add insult to injury, when we got the check, it included an AUTOMATIC 20% gratuity. No wonder nobody cared about the service. No incentive to do a good job. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

   Every time we have visited Amal, the experience has been superb. Eddie, our server, was outstanding!!! We missed Andres, the greatest Sommelier in Miami, for some wine recommendations but chose the Massaya Blanc which he had recommended once before. The food was amazing. Unfortunately, there was a private event upstairs in the Rooftop and we could not go up for after dinner drinks but that also means we will have to come back again very soon! Thank you for delivering a great experience.

    Amazing food! We found some delicious healthy choices that suited our lifestyle. The place itself it beautiful and the server was attentive without being overbearing. I definitely recommend it and we are going back for sure. This is a Lebanese restaurant so you will find classics (like pancakes) with a twist. I recommend you study the menu before going to find what you like.

    Overall, we enjoyed our dinner at Amal, however, it wasn’t perfect. The house music was a big let down, as we expected Lebanese or even a live guitarist: something more relaxing and romantic. As for food, it was delicious but very expensive. Our waiter, Stanislov, was very friendly and attentive. No Turkish coffee was an unpleasant surprise. Lastly, while the decor and ambiance made up for some of the down sides, $45 for parking for 2.5 hours made it clear we won’t be returning to Amal.

    The cocktails are great, beautiful, fresh delicious I got the "The grove" it was very nice. The Cauliflower can be better. I usually like to order this at restaurants cause the make them amazing.. but this one was very simple I mean it was steamed and the green sauce on top was not so good. I think it can be better. My beef pistachio kebab was ok. The dessert I liked the dates cake it was good. I think there should be another option for GF desserts besides the sorbet. My friend could not have a dessert. The services was good and the restaurant is beautiful.

    Outstanding in every way. The hummus and, most particularly, the muhammara, were incredible. Likewise the beef skewer and lamb chops. The grilled shjrimp, to be honest, were not our favorite (perhaps a bit overcooked), but still delicious, as was the roasted cauliflower. One other dish - fried eggplant and zucchini chips - also amazing. A gem of a restaurant.

    The service was very good; and the restaurant is beautiful but I don’t understand what all the hype is about. The food is ok. The lunch menu is limited. They did not have the wine I wanted. The seared halloumi cheese came out cold and the kibbeh was very dry (we left one). My wrap would have been delicious if the had cooked my filet to medium as I requested instead of charring it unrecognizable. My husband’s branzino was so tiny and cold also. The table next to us also complained about a cold entree. We paid a little less than $200 (only 1 glass of wine). Not worth it.

    The setting, the service, and the food are all incredible.The space is very upscale yet relaxing and approachable, the service is always impeccable and the flavors innovative and delicious. Portion sizes are not huge but we left the restaurant satisfied. Overall one of the best dining experiences in Miami.

    The presentation, freshness and flavors of the dishes we ordered were spectacular. The prices of the dishes were more than fair for the level of quality and the generally healthy portions. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Miami. There is also a robust wine list with several wonderful bottles from Lebanon.

    Service wasn’t great - server didn’t welcome us or offer any insight on the menu etc. we waited a long time to have our plates cleared and had to ask for our check by way of asking the busser. We also had a bottle of wine which the server didn’t finish pouring for us and they provided bottled water when we asked for tap water. Pretty disappointing for us.

    Limited though this review of food may be, we have eaten in many middle eastern restaurants and this one would have to fall into the lower third of those. Granted, we did not have a lot of food, but nothing we had was worth going back for. Our baba ganoush lacked real flavor (not a trace of smoke) and tasted of lemon only; the fattoush salad was dressed in an astringent and sweet (at the same time) dressing and the crispy eggplant/zucchini was inartfully fried and then tuck into some sweet tasting goop that was just not good. Sad to say even the pita lacked body and flavor. Lovely setting with eager to please staff and very good cocktails.

    OMG!!!! I am obsessed with this place and i’ve only been once! Lol the FOOD is AMAZING!!!!! Best lebanese/mediteranean food i’ve ever had!!!!! Outstanding!!!! We were a group of 4 and almost ordered the entire menu, each item was better than the other. I have no more words to describe how amazing this place is. From the cleanliness, to the decor, the service, the chef watching everyone’s work and details to perfection. I’m a fan for life and will keep on going over and over again. Highly highlyyyy recommend!!!! Good job!!!!

    Celebrated our friends birthday there before I flew back to NYC the following morning. We decided on Amal based off the veggie options we had seen prior to attending. The food was phenomenal and so much more than what we could’ve expected. They gave us an intimate corner circle table by the open kitchen which was ideal for conversation having. Aside from the vibe, the food, drinks and even the gorgeous location/decor the best part of the night was our serve who’s name on the receipt was “Stanislav”. He was absolutely amazing, so polite, guided us through the menu, gave us recommendations, never pressured or rushed us and helped us make tonight absolutely perfect. I manage a restaurant in NYC so I always have unmet expectations and standards for restaurants I dine in at, Stanislav blew those expectations out of the water for me. Thank you for everything from everyone.

    Our expectations were high for a our first visit to Amal Miami, and with our friends from Canada joining us, this amplified the importance of achieving this goal. Our expectations were met and exceeded in all facets of the dining experience. On our entry into the establishment, we were met with a beautiful environment, and hostess that was gracious and professional. Our server, Rosie, was superb in advising us on the selections and taking care of our needs throughout the evening. Our guests were impressed and spoke highly of the food and experience. We will be back and look forward to it.

    Food was amazing, and really cool atmosphere but I had to wait 1/2hour for my table (I had a reservation). Then my table was between 2 tables with no distance, so I asked staff to change my table. I was celebrating my anniversary and was expecting a more private table (I added notes on my reservation in this regards). So at the end, we were seated on a table outside, at the front. Lot of noise from cars and people walking on the street. Again, not the table a had imagined. There were many available nice tables inside, that staff we could offer, I don’t get it.

    all the starters are great, the best is to share, so you can taste more different options. I liked specially the fried squash and eggplant with a very interesting sauce. But I did not like the chicken wings: to spicy very good drink with lychees, sweet, different, with good taste. the baklava for dessert is a MUST Be prepared: inside it is very cold and the music very loud!
