This was my favorite restaurant. I was really disappointed. Seems like they added way too much salt to a lot of the dishes. The selection of plates seemed to be duplicates of each other. The lamb chops were still good. Will try it again, but not a destination spot after this experience.
Service was lovey as usual and the ambiance was very romantic. However I wish I had known it would be a pre fixed menu when I made the reservation. We felt a little limited. We also spent quite a bit of money to have to share an entree and dessert... overall food was good but I don’t think it was a good value.
Waiters were a bit cold and food portions seemed small relative to price. It was delicious though.
We celebrated Valentine’s Day! It was great
Both my husband and I have Celiac disease. They were very accommodating and everyone was great, double and triple checking that all ingredients were gluten free. Would highly recommend!
Amada never fails to be excellent. Always a solid choice, and fun to taste a lot of different dishes with the small tapas plates.
The food was good and the service was responsive and welcoming.
Food and service was amazing! Highly recommend and will be back soon!
Outstanding as always. My favorite restaurant since its opening. Highly recommended.
So glad this place was recommended to us by a local. The bacon wrapped dates were amazing!
Ambiance was a little bit crowded and lighting was too bright
Great food, great service, great vibe. One of the best spots in Philly!
Wonderful food and service!!
One of the best places for dinner Old City. Good for a date night as well as a small group.
We had an amazing dinner! We were celebrating a birthday and had great service and food. We did the chefs tasting and they were very accommodating to my aversions.
Everything was great except the food. Loved the atmosphere and service was amazing. Would go back for that! And the sangria 🍷
The food was delicious and our server made sure we were happy with everything. I didn't love being seated at a hightop at the bar when I had a reservation. Dinner was a bit less relaxed than planned with people rushing past us throughout the meal. Overall a very good experience.
Went here with another couple and we had a terrific time. Super helpful staff, delicious food, lots of vegetarian options, and interesting drinks.
Thanks for a great night celebrating my Dad's 70th birthday!
Outstanding service, food and drinks! On a Saturday it is loud and is a tight space but we managed!
party of 9. Unreal everything. Tasting menu was the play.
Amada was amazing. Great food and super great staff.
Food was delicious. Waiter advised us on what to order and his recommendations were perfect! We went for lunch and I look forward to going back for dinner and one of their delicious looking cocktails.
My husband and I had a great dinner at Amada. Next time we find ourselves in Philly we plan to go back, most excellent.
Great experience all the food was amazing and great service. The menu is extensive, so we’ll definitely be back to try out more dishes!
Food was fantastic but very loud. Had trouble hearing the conversation at our table. Lamb meatballs remains our favorite!
We were really pleased with the food and service during restaurant week. The chicken and steak 'a la plancha' were fantastic, also highly recommend the garlic shrimp. Cocktails were okay and the place was a little loud, but overall we had a great experience.
Great end to Philly restaurant week! Great service, experience, food, value, wine choice and ambiance. We’ll be back. Thank you
Great food and service! We’ll be back!!
This tapas dinner took us back to our time in Spain! Wonderful!
Loved the restaurant week menu!!! Food was delicious!!
This was my second time at Amada for restaurant week. I cannot express how much I look forward to coming here for lunch. Their menu was well thought out- there were options for vegetarians, pescatarians and meat lovers alike. The best part of this experience was that I tried a dessert I thought I wouldn’t like -just to say I tried both desserts- and ended up loving it! Definitely make sure to stop by the next restaurant week.
I went to this restaurant for restaurant week. The menu did not disappoint. All offered dishes showed a degree of sophistication in their preparation, in the procurement of fine ingredients, and were presented in an appealing and elegant way. I would highly recommend this place for tapas, wine, and cocktails.
The food and service were excellent. The waitress was very helpful with recommendations. The restraint was pretty loud even though it was 9:00 on a Thursday night. Would definitely go back.
Great food and enjoyed restaurant week! Service was excellent and very accommodating of celiac allergy
Awesome Restaurant Week experience with friends from out of town!
Food was outstanding, with the exception of the grilled shrimp. It was extremely "fishy". Hostesses were awful. Just walked away, didn't seat us and came back to the front with a blank look on her face, I assume wondering why we didn't go to the table. She never said a word to us. We had to ask if that was our table and got a simple "yeah" in response. Other than that, our waiter was exceptional, wine and food was delicious. Nice atmosphere.
Went during center city restaurant week. I was expecting a great night having heard great things from friends and family but my experience was just good, nothing special. I suspect that is due to restaurant week though so I look forward to returning for the normal service. Unexpected highlight was the infused honey. I would go back just for that.
I really enjoyed eating at Amada. I would definitely go back. Food was absolutely delicious and very filling.
