Truffle Lavender Honey
It was great food and drinks were served fast and servers and hosts friendly
I love tapas so that I can try a bunch of dishes & not fill up. I was able to eat & enjoy 3 dishes as I was dining alone. They have good specials for Happy Hour. Enough vegetarian choices too
We had a great time and the food was excellent. I had the red snapper and my wife had the scallops. The red snapper was very good but the scallops were excellent. The manager Joseph was very accommodating after a little mistake was made in the bill. It was was quickly straightened out. But it was Mother’s Day and the restaurant was very busy.
Spectacular! Wow! Fantastic! Mother’s Day brunch was a work of art! The covid 19 mitigation was so tastefully done we hope they leave it even when Covid is just a bad memory. Amada was a favorite of ours pre-pandemic. It will be a favorite post pandemic. The staff was outstanding. We could see the hard work and dedication to their craft and customers. The food was outstanding in taste and presentation. The courses were paced perfectly. The ambiance was perfect. We were transported to the best of Spain for 2 hours. Thank you!
Mother's Day Brunch was excellent. Wish there would have been a few more menu choices for our son, who is a little more picky, but he still enjoyed the food.
Delicious as always.
My experience was amazing... food abs service was on point. Only issue was dress code, online indicates business casual. I tried to call numerous times to verify and there was no response
Fantastic food as always! Came to Philly just for the weekend and Amada is usually my first choice/stop for great food and they delivered again. That said, their COVID set-up is not that great... the back rooms where we were initially seated were, how shall I say, "awful... too dark and unattractive," so no space in the main/front dining room we asked to be seated outside. Table wasn't clean much less set upon seating, no heat lamps/space heaters like almost every other restauarnt has... and the only ones outside, our waiter, although quite good, didn't make so many appearances at our table. I think the host, who was fabulous, checked on us more. I'd absolutely go back for the food and hopefully on a post-COVID and/or warmer night, it would be perfect.
Service was lacking. Food was good but poorly timed. Long periods of nothing.
Wonderful food. Spotty service.
We had an issue with the wine (it had turned) and the wine steward (not our waitress) was kinda brusque and not pleased. Which wasn’t so nice.
Also the restaurant could have been cleaner and did not ‘sparkle’. The counter area by the food prep was neglected and we were sitting next to a glass partition - very nice - but it was spotted and very dirty. Which made facing it not so nice.
All in we still had a wonderful time and would go back.
Cold food, rushed
The food was great as always, but our server was horrible. We were a late reservation and the sever told us the kitchen was closing in five minutes as soon as we sat or party of 5 down. He did not give us enough water for a full round and didn’t bring our out of town guest water. After asking 3 times he went to to the bar to get his own water. Our food came before our cocktails. He didn’t offer to box our substantial leftovers.
A $600 dollar dinner with the worst service ever. So surprising and disappointing.
Celebrating my partner’s birthday
It was an amazing experience as was the first time which is why I came back and brought my wife
I always love bringing my friends and family to Amada! The food is delicious and the service is always friendly.
Went here to celebrate my wife’s birthday with another couple. Great ambiance, excellent food and first class service. Highly recommend.
Delicious food and thoughtful service! This is such a wonderful place to enjoy brunch.
The breadbasket was awesome. The brunch menu's potato hash item was average at best. Flavours were definitely missing! The shakshuka was quite good. The mimmosa was at a good price and boozy enough. I would try this place again, and ofcourse try another item on the menu instead of the breakfast hash.
Amazing. The service is always impeccable and the food always slaps!
10/10 perfect for date night
A real Spanish restaurant. Authentic tapas and tasty offerings. Wine and beer selection from Spain excellent. Happy hour menu is great valule.
Excellent food and great service. Very fun place to eat!
Had a very nice dinner with a long time friend. The food and service were great! We were provided the time and space to chat and catch up.
Excellent food great service and beautiful . Great people working there also. Joseph was a real stand out. Everything I look for in a restaurant and more
The food was so delicious and the service was great!
Excellent experience. Each tapas order was delicious and flavorful. Will return soon.
Tapas are extremely small, overpriced and not what expected. Though great ambience and service.
The food is flavorful and phenomenal as was the service but it was the $5 mimosas, sangria and Bloody Mary’s that made us drive from Brooklyn to Philly for brunch.
Amada never disappoints. The staff, general manager, and food are always exceptional. The brunch selection was delicious and the Sangria by far is the best I’ve ever had.
Food was great, service was outstanding. I'm looking forward to going back!
My only disappointment was that the paella was too soft; normally great paella has that wonderful crunchy bottom and we did not get that.
Great experience - fun and helpful waitress, delicious food
All food was good. Lamb meatballs delicious. All greens were good. I love octopus and get it whenever I can. Amada's was good but not fabulous. A little overdone. The service was excellant and atmosphere is great. Will be back.
We went here on change. Walk by and decide to get a reservation. It was amazing. Out server was excellent and the food as some of the best I had in the city. Will definitely be returning.
Amada is always such a pleasure--the food, the service, and the ambiance. Always out top spot!!! Highly recommended!!! And, dining is well spaced out for safety--an added plus.
They ran out of things in the menue. granted our reservation was at 9pm. Our server acted like she didn't want us there. Drinks and food were good
Overall wonderful experience. Save room for the roast pork, it was probably the best pork I’ve had in my life!
Made a reservation for Saturday at 2:45 and attempted to call the restaurant directly for an entire week prior to the reservation. Left 4-5 voicemails asking for a return phone call as I had questions about the 2:45 time as it was the very end of brunch...Happy Hour and Dinner didn't start until 4:00 PM. I wanted to know if at some point during our visit we would be able to have any of the tapas from the dinner menu as "breakfast" dishes at 2:45 PM were not really what we wanted - but we took the only reservation they had. Had I been told "brunch only" - I likely would have cancelled.
I received a voice mail the AM of our reservation being told our party of 6 would have to be split into 4 INSIDE tables as there was a "threat of rain". No rain in the forecast. Philadelphia was a sunny, gorgeous 80 degrees. I was asked to call back - so I called the restaurant's number which was left in the message - and AGAIN - the same voicemail I had heard all week.
We arrived at Amada to see all outdoor seating had been set up - and we were all seated together OUTSIDE. Our server promptly informed us when we sat down that we had 15 minutes to get our order in for anything "hot " that we wanted because then the kitchen would no longer make anything - they were closing until the dinner hour. We scrambled to piece together a few tapas and beverages for the group.
The drinks were tasty and the few tapas that we ordered were good - although basic (and not the tapas we really hoped to be able to experience). The manager, Anna, did come out to speak with me as I had mentioned to the hostess how I had been trying to reach them all week and had not been called. She apologized and I heard "COVID, short-staffed...etc." I get it -really I do. I manage a medical office and we, too, have been short-staffed, however, we have not let it affect our customer service. I can't imagine no one listened to the voicemails about reservations ALL WEEK. Reservations = customers = income.
It was so good the first time so we had to return. Brunch with friends. Had another amazing meal. Love this place. Great food, great service, atmosphere and staff. Will definitely return,
All I can say is wow!! Food and service were absolutely excellent. Shout out to the host last night that was going above and beyond to make sure everyone was accommodated. There was a storm coming in and he made sure everyone sitting at tables outside had extra umbrellas and were covered and dry! Our server was great, attentive but relaxed at the same time. Always a pleasure dining at Amada!
