Really nice selection of Spanish tapas great sangria. Recommend
The hostess was terrible, but thankfully our server was great and the food was good.
Amada is always awesome!
Great food and service. Sometimes it felt like we were waiting a while between small plates, which feels like it makes you hungrier getting little bits of food at a time but we left full and satisfied.
Overall, the tapas are good (but slightly overpriced) and the service was excellent. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the ambience is nice, although a bit loud to carry a profound conversation. The big disappointment came with the crema catalana which was overcooked (think scrambled eggs)...
Fantastic, as always. Never been disappointed, love Amada.
I want to thank one of the managers for recognizing us from a previous visit. My partner had a headache and had asked if the restaurant had any aspirin on the premises. He actually went to a corner store and purchased a travel pack for him. He didn't have to do that, and it was very much appreciated. Overall, our dinner was very nice and enjoyable.
🧐 yeah muy bueno
Pero bastente caro
Claro pero muy bueno
Wonderful food. Great service
Great food, great service :) Thanks for a great experience!
Amazing food! Server was very knowledgeable, helpful and professional. Love it here ❤️
Had to wait 45 minutes for my reservation to be seated. Food was okay. Server was awesome.
The restaurant was very accommodating. We had to move our table and they provided the first bottle of wine on the house.
The food was very good
I don't even know where to begin. This was, hands, down, THE WORST dining experience I have EVER had! I took my husband to Amada on Saturday, Feb. 9th, and I chose this place, because it came HIGHLY recommended to me by a close friend. Plus, all of the raving reviews online made me curious. I regret this decision with all my soul! We decided to try the tasting menu, which is $65 per person, before taxes and tip. I was excited, because my friend tried this same tasting menu and raved about it. From the moment we walked in the door, we had issues. Firstly, we had reservations, and they took about 20 - 30 minutes to seat us! Waiting around for that long when you have reservations is the first thing that put a bad taste in our mouths. When we were seated, our waiter was HORRIBLE. I mean, this was the WORST waiter we've ever experienced. He was inattentive, never checked up on us, took forever and a day to fill our drinks, and even at the end to bring us the check! We were here for a little over 2 hours, and all because of the extreme slow service! The food was NOT GOOD! There were several dishes we couldn't even eat AT ALL. I had a slight moment of inner panic when we were served the 3rd house and I realized that we were going to waste our money, because we couldn't even eat many of the plates! Our waiter did NOT CARE! I made a comment about how we didn't like some of the dishes, and weren't able to eat them, and he was just like, "oh okay." Did not discount us anything on the bill, or even offer to bring us something different! I had to head out early to put more money in our car meter, because he was taking so long with the check! I would NEVER EVER recommend this place to anyone! STAY AWAY!
Wonderful food, artfully presented. Weekend lunch is brunch menu only, but there were plenty of good choices. Service was attentive. We left completely satisfied.
We got the menú degustación, it was super good!! We had a Priorat wine also very good, service outstanding!!
Love this place - it’s my go to whenever I have friends or family visiting. The food and sangria are amazing!
Beautiful space, great service . . . sadly, tapas that are overly heavy and over-spiced with paprika.
Food was decent, as long as you don't attempt a comparison to tapas in Spain. The server upon seeing my reaction to the octopus said that it was for "beginners". While perfectly cooked, it was so over seasoned that you couldn't tell if you were eating bacon or octopus.
Beautiful place and great service. You can enjoy delicious food too.
Great food and great service! Wonderful ambience!
Taste good. Nice atmosphere. Friendly staffs. But smaller plates than I expected.
Made reservation and it still took awhile to be seated. Got seated in the awkward table that probably shouldn't have been a table. Took forever to get food and drinks. Food was good, little too expensive for portion size.
Delicious. Some of the plates were larger than I'd imagined.
My first trip to Amada... I was a little surprised at how casual it was; expecting something a little more special. Waitstaff exceptionally nice. Soup was great but sandwich only ok and French fries were not exactly the side that I was expecting. Wine was expensive but delicious. This was lunch. I guess that I’d like to try dinner and see how it compares.
The selection, quality and quantity at Amada are excellent. This time we ordered off the menu for our group of 5 and the amount of food was just right. Previously my group of 8 did the smaller tasting menu and it was too much food. Delicious, but too much.
It was my first and will be last time there. The price for the food compared to the portion/amount I received was extremely disappointing. Even the quality of food was misleading from what I’ve heard. The only positive thing about the place was the staff. Sadly I will not recommend this place to anyone nor will I come back.
Great service, tasty tapas (Pulpo a la Gallega was fantastic!) and great wine too.
Very nice, romantic atmosphere for a Sunday night dinner date. Delicious food and friendly service.
The server was poor, not very helpful and attentive. He want missing for long stretches of time.
Quality has deteriorated over the years
Great food, awesome service!
Excellent food and service - as usual; Amada is keeping it up at a very high level!
This was our second time at Amanda. We had an absolutely delicious brunch. We’ll be back the next time we’re in Philly.
The out of town party I was meeting was delayed in traffic. I wasn’t sure how that would impact our reservation but the host and waiter were very cool about it. Not only were my guests delayed, we had to finish in time to make a concert. Our waiter was both reassuring and masterful in making excellent menu recommendations in my flustered state, expediting our order and keeping us on track to get to the concert in time. Wonderful experience, great food, nice ambiance.
Went there for Restaurant Week never disappoints have been going for yearsi8o
My absolute favorite restaurant! I've never had a bad dish and would recommend everyone plan a visit.
Generous portions and great variety, especially for Restaurant Week. Wait staff friendly and attentive.
The service, the ambiance, and most importantly the food was outstanding. Experienced a few new fine dining pleasures this week and Amada was the best by far.
