Amazing tasting menu
Amada is the place to go for celebrations, or simply to enjoy an outstanding meal. Great, delicious, unique, creative food. Highly recommended!
We did enjoy some great tapas but overall the service and ambiance were not what one would expect from restaurant of this caliber.
I could go on forever about what an amazing experience we had at AMADA. Edwin our server was so attentive and knew the menu so well. He kept our glasses full and went above and beyond to make our experience at AMADA memorable. Now the food... it was perfection!!! We started with the mixto cheese and meats ( AMAZING ) then went to the cauliflower, artichokes, wagu sirloin, lamb meatballs and spicy potatoes. Every item was better than the last and the wagu sirloin was delicious. I would highly recommend AMADA to anyone that wants an amazing meal with phenomenal service.
Food was great, waiter was attentive and ambience was perfect for our celebration
Overpriced brunch menu. Limited choices. Small portions.
Edwin is the best server!!! Had an amazing dinner!!! Food is always delicious.
He paired the wine perfectly with each course. Can't wait to come back
No soccorat on paella
Sangria was trash, hardly boozy
Very underwhelming meal.
I have always wanted to go there as I am a big fan of Jose. My girlfriends and I, finally made the trip to Philly with Amada on top of our to do list. Everything from food, service and ambience was great! The bonus was meeting Jose in person.... such a lovely and pleasant human being. He visited our table and took a picture with us. Some celebrity chefs will rarely acknowledge a "hello", Jose Garces was AWESOME!!!
Our server was awesome! Management should be very happy to have Ray on their team. We visit yearly from NJ and the food was great. Service was fantastic. You can’t beat great food and even better customer service.
Only complaint... ordered a $63 bottle of wine.....looked up cost online $8.99.......sort of feel like ive been gouged!!!!!!!! everything else extremely good
The wait staff guided us through the extensive tapas menu and helped us make the right choices both on type and quantity of dishes. Everything was delicious Three of us had a terrific evening.
Great brunch food! Very tasty!
One of my favorite restaurants in Philly hands down. Tapas so you can style your evening any way you like. On very rare occasions you can say, “That was the best ... I’ve ever had!” At Amada a couple of nights ago I hadn’t one of those moments and yes I can believe it just might happen again at the same bat place, same bat channel.
Service was great and so was the food. We loved the recommendations our server gave us. Our only regret is that we were too full to get dessert.
Delicious roast pork! Very tasty tapas, and wonderful ambience!!!
Excellent service and food, but our neighbor was disgusting. He was sniffing very loud instead of sneezing his nose.
Everything was perfect. The service was outstanding, we didn’t have to ask for anything our server was definitely on his game. The food was prepared quick and was possibly the best meal I’ve ever eaten. I’ve been a chef for over 10 years and I’m a real tough customer, I was very impressed with how fast everything came out and the quality was superb. My girlfriend and I were out on a date and decided to give Amada a try, we will be back.
Amada never disappoints! Great for out-of-town guests especially after touring the historic district.
Amazing food! Great service! I wish I could eat here for every date night.
The chicken and chorizo paella, the short rib flatbread and the bacon wrapped dates with blue cheese are not to be missed!
Terrific tapas selected by the chef. Delicious! Had to stop finally and take the last courses home. Outstanding cuisine and service in a very casual atmosphere. Highly recommended!
Brunch was amazing! Couldn't pick a favorite - everything was delicious and unique. Will definitely be back!!
Solid, server picked and excellent wine. Food was nice if a little unexciting and the ambience was friendly, casual and pleasant.
Amada is one of my favorite restaurants in Philly and I celebrate almost all special occasions here. This made it an easy choice for a bachelorette dinner for my sister-in-law. Despite adding notes to the reservation and calling to confirm, I was disappointed with the lack of acknowledgment of the special occasion from Amada. First, we were put right in the middle of the dining room, right next to a table with a disruptive baby. With my reservation message and call, I truly thought that there would have been more careful selection of our table. They were not that busy. Second, when I've celebrated anniversaries and birthdays here in the past, they would bring us a drink or dessert in recognition of the special occasion. During our weekend in Philly, this was the ONLY restaurant that did not do anything special. Very disappointing.
Was our 10th wedding anniversary and as always the food and service were amazing!!!
Food was great. Waiter know the menu and was able to help us decide on what to order.
great food and service. Our granddaughter really enjoyed the small plates and tried some new foods. Everyone was great , we really enjoyed the restaurant.
The service and food is always great at Amada. Never a bad dish and always a pleasant dining experience. It’s our culinary happy place.
Awesome brunch special
Amada continues to be one of the best restaurants in the city. The food and service are always top notch.
We had a business celebration meal. The food and server were excellent!!! It was a little noisy and hard to hear everyone taking in our dinner party!
Food was great but noise level was too loud for price and type of experience we expected
Phenomenal meal & wait staff was extremely attentive...5 stars across the board!
We were celebrating our anniversary with infant twins and they were so kind and accommodating! We had a wonderful time!
The venue is too noise but the tapas is great. Service was also below par. Never heard of tapas being served in courses - that was the excuse for long period in between servings.
This was my first time visiting Amada. Everything was perfect. Our service was excellent. The waiter was super friendly and accommodating. He was well versed with the menu and offered several suggestions for our meal. The waiter offered several pairings for our food selections. The meal was excellent and everything was timed perfectly. I would definitely recommend the cheese tray. We will be going back again.
Authentic Spanish menu served perfectly. Terrific wine list and great ambiance. No flaws, will return
The bread service is always to "die for". So good. The coffee and olive oil ice cream is also a major plus!
I never write reviews, but a phenomenon like Amada deserves to receive one. I was concerned that the quality of Amada may have decreased due to the change in ownership. It turns out my concerns were completely unfounded. Especially amazing were the Ensalada de Jamon, the Datiles con Almendras (bacon-wrapped dates), and the Empanada, although I wish I could have tried almost everything on the menu. I remarked to my wife, who dined with me, that Amada was still my official favorite restaurant (chosen years ago) because I hadn't selected a new favorite. Well, now I'm making the deliberate, conscious decision to re-select it as my favorite. Winner, and still champion - Amada.
