First of all, I wanna say that this was me and my family‘s first time visiting and we absolutely loved it and will be coming back any opportunity we have! From the moment we arrived to the time we left super happy and satisfied with the food. The service. The wait time was not bad. The vibe was amazing! We made reservations on open table one day before Mother’s Day and no issues we got there waited maybe 15-20 minutes to be seated and they even provided free champagne while we waited! Once they took us back to our table, it was super easy to get a hold of a menu. We placed our orders. The food was amazing 10 out of 10 and the drinks were 10 out of 10 and our server was so sweet. Live music and great energy all around! Recommend 100%

Took over an hour after reservation time to be seated. Restaurant overbooked and was not prepared for Mother’s day volume.

I was expecting more. Food took really long to arrive and got cold quick. Forgot about our appetizer which came after our main food. :/ Drinks were good. Hoping over time all of this improves. :)

Took my wife and my mom for Mother’s Day breakfast. They were not ready for service at 10am, we even beat some of the wait staff into the restaurant. We got seated right away, but it took 30mins for appetizers and another 40mins for entrees. Our waitress was friendly, but the kitchen seems unorganized; some plates were ripping hot while others were cold and stale. The food is flavorful, but nothing can offset waiting 40mins for a cold plate. The interior is aesthetically pleasing, but the restrooms hadn’t been cleaned from the night before. The high chairs are stylish, but unsafe: my 1-year old squished his finger multiple times because the table-top opens freely and there is no seat belt. We had to use a skirt rope to tie the table down, and luckily we carry our own seatbelt. Overall, this place has potential. But considering their prices, potential is not enough. Their attention to detail is going to the wrong places and the staff as a whole shows no sense of urgency. Going to need redemption for my wife and mom after that Mother’s Day experience.

I visited Alux on 5/10/25, which is also the day Mother’s Day is celebrated in Mexico. I have visited Alux 5 times since the restaurant has opened and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had at this restaurant and I will not be returning. My family and I were looking forward to spending time together, celebrating mother’s day here and we were left very discouraged to ever return to the restaurant after our visit. On google, the restaurant hours were 10AM-2AM; however, we were kicked out at 12AM. First, our waitress came to our table with the bill and I told her we were not ready for the bill. We ordered three more drinks and she only brought us 1/3 of the drinks. Then, she told us the kitchen was closed and left. She returned one more time and brought the bill tellings us we had to leave because “they were closing early”. When, I asked about the operating hours online she said that I could speak to her manager if I wanted. Then she said that the employees had been working from 7AM and they decided to close early. To begin with, closing before operating hours is false advertisement and misleading conduct. Second, it is against the law for people to work 16+ hours. When my family walked out the doors were slammed shut very loudly. Honestly, all that was left was for someone to have literally kick us out with their physical foot. I have 5+ years of experience working in retail and costumer service and this is not the way you treat people. Especially if there is a 18-20% gratuity charge included in our bill already. Our bill was over $400, this is not a cheap restaurant, we were still ordering and to have been treated this way was not okay. The scheduling manager could have scheduled employees more accordingly during this busy holiday. My grandma just passed away and this was the first mother’s day my father was celebrating without his mom. I just wanted to do something special for both my parents the night was ruined after this experience.
